British Vet Attacked Outside Pub: Fu***** Shoot All You Bastards

RAF vet Anthony O'Brien.

A British Royal Air Force veteran was beaten outside a Manchester pub yesterday in an apparent anti-military attack.

Anthony O’Brien, 69, said he was punched and head butted after returning from a pub where he was discussing funeral arrangements with friends for a fellow veteran.

“I saw these two lads and, as I got near, they started shouting and swearing,” O’Brien told The Sun. “They were shouting, ‘F****** shoot all you bastards and blow your soldiers up. Death to all soldiers.’ I was scared.”

O’Brien said the attackers singled him out after they saw him wearing his RAF blazer and poppy, articles he said he wears “proudly.”

“I thought they were drunk or something,” he explained. “I told them to leave me alone but the little fella hit me on the side of my head. Then the other fella head-butted me. Then they ran away.”

The attack has left O’Brien in a wheelchair.

    British cities are well equipped with outside security cameras. I hope they caught these two cowards. The war is far from over. I believe the war in Afghanistan will metastasize into Manchester and when these thugs are eligible they will be recruited to fight an ever expanding war.

    In the meantime I hope those security cameras caught their profile and justice will put them in prison where they will learn to be a b***h for some prisoner.

Go to oregonlive.com for example and get a taste of their editorial position on Islam and terrorists. The spread of the disease of Islam within our borders is pernicious and it needs to be addressed before we end up like the UK, Denmark, France, Germany etc.

    They are some real brave souls, to attack a man that old. I would have no qualms to send them to a “better life” as Rutger Hauer’s character Wolfgar stated in “Nighthawks”. Unfortunately, one cannot carry firearms in jolly ol’ England, but most of us over here can. I’m 12 years younger than the British troop, but still gray haired and hobbling; however, I have at least 2 on me at all times and my wife has one, also. Nearly 30 years of law enforcement taught me what awaits the unwary on the streets. I also fire 50-300 rounds per week, just to make sure of the consistency of my trigger press and the location of the front sight on center mass. Job benefit of working for a gun shop with a range, I guess…..

      300 rounds a week is probably overkill; but, it’s your money.

      Also, don‘t forget to memorize your lawyer’s number and call it once a week to verify your memory.

      If you ever have to shoot somebody, the first person, after 9-1-1, to call will be your lawyer.

      You may also want to make sure your cell phone can call two numbers at once; so, while your waiting on 9-1-1 you can call your lawyer.

      It’s not so much about possible charges, as about probable lawsuit.

    Watch the Movie Harry Brown. This guy is Harry Brown! A retired old vet who watched the decline of his neighborhood and was afraid to go out on walks. His friend (also a vet) gets killed by a mob of youth after standing up to them because they had picked on the old man for the last time. This is a sad state of affairs. I worry about how I will be treated when I am elderly, that is many years off but I can see that future and it does not look pretty.

      Agreed Chief. I’m at the mid-life point. It is stunning to consider how much this country has changed in my lifetime alone. I have no doubt that today’s youth will have no issue with “mercy” killing the elderly because of their drain on resources. They grew up on violence in movies and video games and have trouble distinguishing between fantasy and reality.

    This was in England, they are already screwed…But those of us in the US need to take heed. Move to a state with decent gun laws and take a class. Get your concealed carry permit. The law tries most of the time, God bless the good ones who put themselves in danger daily, but your best protection is yourself. While the Boy Scout dude in here may be annoying with his “BE PREPARED” line after every post, in this case it is the best advice there is. Be prepared…

      This is likely to happen here soon.

      We had a family member come home for two weeks for Christmas. Well, almost for Christmas, he had to fly back to Afghanistan on the 24th…Christmas eve. Anyway, the day he came home he told us a very upsetting story about he and some of his fellow soldiers who were accosted by protestors at the Atlanta Airport. The protestors were allowed to get within touching distance as the soldiers came into the terminal. They kept yelling profanities in their faces and calling them ‘baby killers’ just like the jack-asses did during the Vietnam War. The very last soldier in the line of them got spit on his back. Of course when he turned to confront whoever did it, all the protestors started yelling “I did it” in unison, daring the soldier to do something about it. That’s when security finally stepped in and told the soldiers to move along.
      (WHY SECURITY DID NOT MOVE BACK THE SCUM-BAG PROTESTORS IS BEYOND ME)

      If this continues, I will put the blame squarely on the shoulders of the Obama administration. If they know this is happening he should be go public and condemn these protestors. And if that doesn’t stop this behavior, “we the people” should show up at our airports to protect our returning soldiers. The soldiers are told to stay out of trouble so they do not retaliate and act like the professionals they are, “we the people” though don’t have that restraint.

You prefer to think everything is okay, that America is exempted from the laws of economics. You are entitled to your opinion and I, for one, hope you are correct.
      Unfortunately, there is nothing new in history. Kings and Princes are the norm. If you just print money it is just a matter of time until it hyperinflates. Hyperinflation causes the prices of goods and services to go up. Lib’s have a handy Thesarus, give it a new term, and we have never seen it before. They might be that stupid, but a lot of us aren’t.
      Wake up, look at real facts, not nonsense facts (called government accounting). Realize that in the history of the world, the American dollar has survived the longest as an unbacked paper currency without hyperinflation. If you don’t know history, you are doomed to repeat it.
      We will not be able to avoid the party they are throwing for us.

      A few years ago in downtown Seattle, I encountered a group of thugs attempting to set small American flags on fire that were being handed out by Old Navy sales associates. I immediately confronted them and was attacked. Several citizens came to my aid and we put the beat down on these idiots which resulted in several arrests. Guess who was arrested? Me and two other gentlemen that came to my aid. The thugs ran off, so I guess they were not too hurt but we all were arrested then later released with a warning to let the police handle these situations and never interfere unless we are being attacked personally.

      Thepatriotdave – Thank you for sharing your story about the protesters at the Atlanta Airport. As a multiple military family member this angers me so much. I am sorry that this happened to your family member. As Americans, we swore we would never let this venomous, anti military attitude (from the Vietnam War) happen to another American Soldier. And yet it does happen. In St Louis, one of our radio stations has many volunteer “greeters” meet soldiers to welcome them home so, hopefully, this won’t happen here. Once, recently, a protester spat in the face of a soldier walking near the USO at Lambert. We now have a different military. This soldier squared himself up & spat back with full force. You should have seen the look on the protester’s face. Doubt he’ll ever do that again. I only weigh 105 lbs, but so help me God, if I ever see someone disrespecting a soldier in any way, I will attack. I am very loud when I get mad. God bless you & your family.
