My concern is that he won’t have a job to carry him the last few years, that he won’t have the money because the value of his savings and investments will have crashed and burned, and finally will he be able to escape the L.A. basin area before the riots begin!

That‘ means I wasn’t in the resort hotels and I saw the “real” Mexico, areas like the Mexico City dump, where people are born, live and die. So, if California becomes Mexican, how long will it take for the infrastructure to be overwhelmed and fail? If we withdraw our “U.S.” dollars from California, who is going to pay for all the instructors to teach in the University of California. You don’t really think they are going to do it for free, now, do you? Who is going to keep all these benefits coming? Oh, yeah, just let Mexico have the Southwest back and see what happens. Drug wars, cartels, gangs? Such a nice place, but no one, no one is going to want to live there.

We should not have to be forced by state or fed government to accept non-legal citizens (not counting those here on the student visa programs – they have done the paper work) into the system for free.
Solution is simple – have the illegals return to their home countries and follow the proper route to become an american citizen.
My mother did – she from india.
As for myself, no one helped me with college via grants, or scolarships (did not make it for them) so I chose to follow the financial aid route and worked hard to pay it off. The choice was mine to do or not to do.
As the son of an imigrant, let it be done the legal and right way.

Not only that , illegals and their anchor-babies will get free college education because they have no “ income” ( haha) as they work off fake SS# and fake ID’s with TIN#s used to get tax-refunds from IRS while using others’ SS# for welfare and food-stamps.
The DREAM act will give priority to CA’s illegals over American citizens from out of CA . Not only that enrolling in Univ will put illegals on fast-track to citizenship.
So in essence,
US taxpayers and CA taxpayers and their kids will be treated like second class citizens
so that illegals can get free college education , while the rest of citizens pay,
illegals will get priority over citizens in admissions,
illegals will become citizens so that their illegal families can be naturalized as well as moved into USA,
anchor-babies will get free college education because their illegal parents have no provable income
and
we all get to pay for the DREAM Act for illegals by crushing the dreams of our children and paying even more taxes.
Because college / Univ “ education” is a civil rights issue for illegals and a constitutional obligation of US taxpayers.

In primaries its ok to root for the best candidate because you still get a horse running in general, but if brown wins because of a split republican vote then I think you guys over there are just about finished. I hated this when I first heard it but after I thought about it it makes sense to vote for the most electable candidate.

Report Post »People are leaving california already. I keep seeing liscence plates from california here in Utah. All I keep hearing is how crappy Utah is, and how wonderful California is. I ask them why they are here, they say because there job moved here. Companies are already moving out of california. The only ones that have stayed so far is because of their leases. Once they run up, they will continue to move. The only stores that will hire is the retail places. Soon they are going to go and California will die and will have to be bailed out. I think california should split up in two states the north and south. At least the north part will have a chance of surviving if they go conservative.

Eric Holder has already said the passage of prop 19 will do nothing about federal law, and distribution of marijuana will STILL be illegal. I hope all the prop19-folk know that.
