Buchanan to Bashir: African Americans Bought Propaganda On The Liberal PlantationOn Wednesday, GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain told CNN that black voters “have been brainwashed” into voting Democratic and into “not being open-minded, not even considering a conservative point of view.”

The comment, which has received its fair share criticism — namely from Rev. Jesse Jackson who said “those are very strong words” that are “both demeaning and insulting”–  has also found praise, however. During an interview with MSNBC’s Martin Bashir on Thursday, Pat Buchanan endorsed the Republican candidate’s comment, telling the host that he understood the point Cain was trying to convey and couldn’t agree more.

Responding the Cain’s assertion, Buchanan told Bashir, “I think the African American community has embraced Great Society liberalism which has been devastating for the African American family.”

“…I admire Herman Cain for standing up and going against, if you will, the conventional wisdom, and being a tough African American businessman.”

“Brainwashed?” Bashir asked indignantly. “That’s a fairly strong term.”

“I think what he‘s saying is they bought a lot of liberal propaganda on the liberal plantation and I think he’s right!” Buchanan said.

“On the liberal plantation. Wow.” Bashir responded.

“That’s right.”

The original targets of the Ku Klux Klan were Republicans, both black and white, according to a new television program and book, which describe how the Democrats started the KKK and for decades harassed the GOP with lynchings and threats. An estimated 3,446 blacks and 1,297 whites died at the end of KKK ropes from 1882 to 1964. Not only did the Democrats work hand-in-glove with the Ku Klux Klan for generations, they started the KKK and endorsed its mayhem. “Of all forms of violent intimidation, lynchings were by far the most effective,” Barton said in his book. “Republicans often led the efforts to pass federal anti-lynching laws and their platforms consistently called for a ban on lynching. Democrats successfully blocked those bills and their platforms never did condemn lynchings.” Further, the first grand wizard of the KKK was honored at the 1868 Democratic National Convention, no Democrats voted for the 14th Amendment to grant citizenship to former slaves and, to this day, the party website ignores those decades of racism, he said.       Considering that it was Charles Clark (Governor of Miss. at the time, and enacted by a Provisional Governor), a Democrat, who instituted the very first “Black Codes” following the Civil War the very premise of his vile acts of treason and pure evil hatred of any not White. But, it began with first Andrew Jackson, also a Democrat. Following the Civil War and up to Woodrow Wilson things, especially down South gradually became worse and worse, and Wilson pushed the envelope back into deep segregation. Wilson, like Hitler, hated Blacks, so like Franklin Pierce (Democrats) who were the ugliest pre Wilson era hate, and slavery peddling Politicians. Should it be any surprise that it was progressive Jimmy Carter who posthumously removed Davis’ charge of Treason from Jefferson Davis. If you look at Pierces record he was a fore shadow of what was to become the Progressive (communist) party.

      Well, Jesse, old boy, if you think that truism is insulting you’ll go ballistic over the stats that show that blacks are doing nothing more than harming themselves and their cause by embracing radical leftist propaganda.

      Like, for instance, the popular opinion that aids and drugs was introduced into the black community by whites to kill them off. And how about another equally popular opinion that whites blew up the levees in N.O. to drown all the blacks? Or that whites send blacks to jail, because of racism not because blacks commit more crimes. Or that whites never build prisons unless the area in which construction takes place has a high demographic of blacks, so they can get more blacks locked up.

      Or that whites shot the nose off of the sphinx in Egypt, because they allege it was broad and flat. Or that whites actively work non-stop 24/7 to hide all the many brilliant inventions by blacks as part of oppressing them to keep them down. The list goes on and on.

      I wonder if Jesse thinks stating those paranoid beliefs, though true, are insulting to blacks?

      Loved the history lesson. I’m familiar with most of it. I also believe the black people have been held down by the Democrats in office. It‘s the uppity blacks like Jesse Jackson who’ve done more to keep his race down. It‘s time for the black community to understand what’s been done to them and to stand up on their own two feet.       Why should white people “make things better?”
      First, we need to address WHAT, if anything, needs to be changed.
      Once we define WHAT needs to change, then, we can best address HOW and BY WHOM.
      That said, you have also stated herein, that you have never felt oppressed.
      If so, that implies that ‘white people’ aren’t oppressing anyone.
      In which case, the change needs to come from within the black community.
      As Michael Jackson sang, “I’m starting with THE MAN IN THE MIRROR.”

      The dismantling of the family, especially within the black community, looks, from here, to be a major issue that may be a good place to start. But, I as a fellow American, cannot change someone else. That is up to them. So, I’m at a loss as to what any “white people” can do.

      Similarly, I have NEVER heard a single “solution” from the activist black community who claim to be oppressed. All I ever hear is “more”. More handouts, more welfare, more support, more affirmative action, more help in school, more help in college… But, no SOLUTIONS. Exactly what is it that would “satisfy” the activists? The answer? Personally, I don’t think it is possible to “satisfy” them. I think they will always demand “more”. Which is why I feel the solution lies within the black community, primarily within the family units.

      Black families have historically been very conservative. I challenge anyone to go to a black, ‘Southern Baptist’ Church and tell me that is not true. I’ve been! ESPECIALLY

      Americans should live by the Constitution, strive to be righteous in God’s eyes, quit using the government to extort money for activities which are outside the role of limited government as granted in the constitution.
      It is a violation of my right to practice my religion to take my money from me and use it to pay for some person’s abortion. I do not wish in anyway to be connected with the murder of innocent life, or be compelled to provide funding for it. I do not wish my tax dollars to be given to unions which are being used to undermine the Constitution. I do not wish my tax dollars to go to pay congress’s salaries so they can borrow Trillions of dollars from my grandchildren. This is why the Constitution was designed to grant only limited power to the centralized government.

He stated that one should do nothing because a human being( no matter what race) had to make it or not on his or her own merits. I paraphrased there, but I believe I’ve made the point.

    With all due respect, compare a medieval cathedral in Europe with a thatch hut in Africa. Compare a pipe organ with a bongo drum. Is it racist to recognize the differences? What about the violin and symphony vs. a fire dance with drums and hoots and hollers. Come on, it can’t be racist to observe the differences and recognize that Western Civilization evolved out of White/Christian/Male/Europeans. We shouldn’t destroy out civilization trying to FORCE all various races and peoples from all over the third world to be completely and totally equal in every way. Maybe no race is superior, but perhaps we should not pretend the accomplishments of all the races are equal, one does, when evaluated without ulterior motives (such as building up the so-called “other” and tearing down the so-called evil whites) appear WAY WAY WAY SUPERIOR.       It is very hard to comprehend how people have now bought into the notion that ignorance is COOL, athiesim is enlightened, and a tribial hunter gatherer society is preferable to a capitalistic system founded in Judeo- Christian rule of law.
      If all of us had to live a few weeks in a lawless tribal society where or only means was what we could steal or harvest each day then you would know what it is like to live in MANY areas of Africa right now, TODAY!
      It would be funny if it were not so sad, seeing these twenty something white kids dressed in their Abercrombe make believe survival clothes, protesting evil wallstreet while advocating a society that is already in existance in large areas of third world countries, and the people who live there would give ANYTHING to get out!

      You are missing the point. It doesn‘t matter how each culture’s accomplishments stack up. You cannot compare a Cathedral to a hut, and then use that analogy to draw conclusions regarding the “white” man’s mentality versus the “black” man’s. You can’t look at a Cathedral built centuries ago, compare the accomplishment to a hut built months ago, and then draw the conclusion that your race (builders of cathedrals) is somehow superior to another’s (builders of huts). If you did not build it yourself you cannot claim it! We are individuals not groups of people, even among those of us who claim to be conservative, we have disparate opinions on what that means.

      Racism is repugnant. That doesn’t mean that you need to change from a hater of blacks to a lover of blacks, it means you need to stop noticing that anyone is black or white or whatever color lies between. Who in their right mind actually cares what one culture has accomplished in comparison with another? The argument is irrelevant and only reveals the deep seated racist thinking of the debater. What concerns me and should concern any conservative, freedom loving, self-directed person among us is what is best for our country as a whole and for each person individually.

      Obama is not an epic failure because he is half black, he is a failure because he is wrong in his thinking, his ideology is flawed at its core, and if he gets his way any more, we will yet see how damaging he can be to this great Re

THAT IS A CLEARLY INSANE PROPOSITION ON IT’S FACE, and it is an outrage, a complete and total outrage that our children are browbeat into submission until they submit and are willing to state such nonsense even long after they are out of school! No one is saying that we can’t see some good aspect of the rhythmic chant of gobbledygook, or any other third world backwards piece of history or life, but it is a flat crime to pretend that they are equal or in any way superior to what the so-called evil white/Christian/mostly male/Europeans developed. Sure, there were contributions here and there from other cultures, but it isn’t the core of it. It was the superior people adopted what was good from those other cultures while continuing to press forward to greatness! It is the failure to appreciate what we have (or had) in the West that is allowing us to let it just slip away, overtaken by third world cultures now being imported.

I would bust my butt and only net $400 after grossing $1100. So the $275 my ex-wife was getting had the taxes paid by me. How long did you think that lasted before I had the sense to start another less stressful chapter in my life? The left think that those smart enough to figure these things out are greedy and would still continue to be slaves working themselves to death. THEY COULDN’T BE MORE CLUELESS! How much will they have for entitlements then?

Black people are failing because of themselves, not because of me(white people). but they continue to be insulted by people like me telling them they are equal, and celebrate the people who enslaved them and treat them like helpless children and political pawns. at somepoint they are going to have to stop thinking of themselves at ‘pittiful oprpressed minorities’ and start considering themselves as equals. and they are gonna have to do it no matter what anyone else thinks. asian, indian and other groups are all doing well its seems only blacks/latinos are constantly crying racism. perhaps its not ‘the man’ opressing them, perhaps it is themselves

      “No Race Is Superior” you are wrong, my best friend a black AMERICAN not “African American” (because he was not born in Africa) recognizes that the Democrats purposely keep alive the “plantation” reality hiding behind Jesse Jackson, AL Sharpton who take advantage of the most black whose selfsteem are low. Your sign name is correct “no race is superior” I agree with it, every body is unique, but that feeling should come from each human being and passed through generations. I am sure if most black people open their mind and are less loyal to their skin color the “plantation” issue would disappear and I believe MLK would be proud that the people he fought for worked hard to be judge for the content of their character and not for their skin color. My black friend has reached that level and I am honor to have him as a friend. He is one of the few black who has moved from the “slave mentality”.

      just trying to make you think…according to“ Political correctness” only the people of color like me can be proud of our race…I dont realy believe in race, skin color is just another variation of our genetic make up like red or blond hair.Now there are cultural differances in people, but this has nothing to do with race, just your raising.

      Can‘t say as I’m proud to be white. But I’m not ashamed either. And I’m not racist……either.
      Black and white are just colors to me. Not sure why there should be any pride involved.
      I didn’t have any choice in the matter…………………
