Bullet That Hit White House Recovered Days After Shooting Incident & AK-47 Found

WASHINGTON (The Blaze/AP) — The Secret Service says a bullet hit an exterior window of the White House and was stopped by ballistic glass.
An additional round of ammunition was also found on the exterior of the White House. The bullets were found Tuesday.
The discovery follows reports of gunfire near the White House on Friday. Witnesses heard shots and saw two speeding vehicles in the area. An AK-47 rifle was also recovered.

The Secret Service says it has not conclusively connected Friday’s incident with the bullets found on the White House grounds. U.S. Park Police have an arrest warrant out for Oscar Ortega-Hernandez, who is believed to be connected to the earlier incident.
ABC has more on Ortega-Hernandez, who is described as mentally ill:

Police believe the suspect, 21-year-old Oscar Ramiro Ortega of Idaho, is mentally ill. Ortega has an extensive record, ranging from domestic violence to drug charges. Sources say a police investigation has uncovered evidence suggesting Ortega has a fixation on the White House.

It’s unclear whether Ortega is capable of launching a sophisticated attack, but police are still fearful of what he might do next.
Authorities suspect Ortega has been in the area for weeks, coming back and forth to the Washington Mall. Before the shooting, he was detained by local police at an abandoned house. U.S. Park police say Ortega may have spent time blending in with Occupy D.C. protesters.
The Washington Times reported about the initial incident on Sunday:
Investigators were led to Mr. Ortega shortly after the incident after examining evidence found in a vehicle abandon about seven blocks west of the incident, near the base of the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge.
Authorities say the White House did not appear to have been targeted.
Secret Service spokesman Edwin Donovan said witnesses heard shots and saw two vehicles racing west on Constitution Avenue.
He confirmed an AK-47 assault rifle was recovered and that witnesses saw one driver abandon a vehicle, then run across the bridge toward Arlington.Mr. Ortega is thought to be living in the area and having ties to Idaho. He is described as a white-Hispanic male, about 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

It could be as simple as a reporter unfamiliar with the language surrounding weapon etc. or a simple miscommunication between the individuals quoted and the roporter or an out right fabrication (can anyone say conspiracy?). At worst, the article does not make clear that THREE different events have occurred in the last week at the White House… 1) a bullet hit an exterior window 2) rounds of ammunition were found on the grounds 3) an AK-47 was found just outside the White House.
That in the least SHOULD make you fearful of what might happen and what is shaping up to happen.

It was designed as a full-automatic assault rifle, to put as much lead downrange as quickly as possible. It is NOT accurate – it’s a “spray-n-pray” weapon. You could hit the broad side of the White House at 1,000 yards, possibly. You can possibly hit what you’re aiming for at 50 yards with 1 round.
Andrew Wilkow (the Wilkow Majority, on SiriusXM Patriot channel, 12:00-3:00 eastern time – check him out!! – is a gun collector) said yesterday that it seems that ALL rifles are AKs to the press.
Btw, AK-47s are legal in this country, but MUST be modified to SEMI-auto.

If times were different and a modern day Jefferson Davis materilized, the central states (almost entirely Red) would secede and divide the Blue coastal states.
And please notice that I didn’t refer to the racial bias of any states. The Reds and the Blues are divided on policy preferences, not race. I absolutely abhor the present administration because it is about 180 degrees out of line with my political views. This would be true with a white president with the same policies as President Obama. So please don’t call me a racist because I disagree with his political agenda.

Second, it takes more than an Congressional Act to repeal an Amendment. AND the SECOND AMENDMENT states SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED UPON for a reason. Jefferson himself pressed Madison for that line to protect WE THE PEOPLE from any sort of governmental take over of arms and weapons. When you require licensing, you are infringing. When there is an application process, you are infringing. When people are denied their right to keep and bear arms, there is infringement. I can’t walk into courthouses, state houses and schools with a gun. That’s infringement.
The idea of “Gun Free Zones” and gun laws in general are asinine. Columbine, VA Tech, and Fort Hood were all “Gun Free Zones”. DC banned handguns for 30 years and as a result, had the nations highest murder rate.
All these little things that people are okay with will eventually add up to a disarmed citizenry, which is exactly what the left wants. If you agree with any type of gun control, you are as bad as them.

As long as we hang on to our guns, we will be able to do so. We are perfectly within our rights to ignore any rules or regulations that issued, restricting our possession of firearms. This can only be done by an Amendment to our Constitution, which requires approval by two thirds of both Houses, and ratified by three fourths of the States. Of course if this story was written this way, there would be huge gaps in the story since vital information was left out or just not stated. Damn crappy government schools. I think this whole thing is a setup. Has someone hired or found another Oswald ? And if the suspect was detained, why was he let go ?

Maybe it’s because he is usually right (he has been wrong on rare occasion). And I’ve never heard or read anything he has said or done that anyone with any sense could interpret as racist.
It is interesting that the alleged shooter has a tattoo saying “Israel” on his neck. If you click on his first picture (to enlarge it), you can see the tattoo clearly.
