Bus Passenger Who Broke Mentally Disabled Man’s Jaw Arrested 50 Times Before

Raw video from a Seattle bus shows an enraged passenger screaming at a mentally handicapped passenger who doesn’t speak English, and then punching the man when the two get off the bus. The attacker has been arrested at least 50 times.
KING-TV in Seattle reports:
As the victim lay on the ground, three bystanders could be seen standing nearby, but none of them did anything to help the man. Two of them, instead, boarded the bus.
Before the assault, the surveillance video showed the suspect walking up and down the aisle, even talking directly to the surveillance camera.
“I’ll punch you, on camera,” the suspect says.
He is also seen yelling at the victim.
The suspect, 32-year-old Raymel Curry, is charged with second-degree assault. Trial is set for January 18.
According to The Seattle Times, Curry has been arrested at least 50 times.

They do not want to be the next victim and as long as you don’t get involved they feel they are safe. They will go home and talk about how terrible it was but will never get involved.They would not talk to the police when they arrive because they do not want to testify in court because the thug will not get any time or his friends will seek revenge on them if he does. A story on this site the other day showed the venom that a group of posters had for the police and why the police do not even want to get involved. The police are video taped and sued into apathy and the public cheers because the cops are brutal or racist or fat or bullies or whatever label you choose to put on them. We live in a very ugly world. With 50 arrests this guy never has any contact with the police that he does not deserve and if every time he had contact with the police he got his ass whipped he might stop having contact with the police. With no fear of the police, the criminal justice system or an armed citizen these thugs run our streets at will. It is not a black,white,yellow or brown issue. It is thugs, the lawyers and the politicians that have allowed this to happen by the will of the people. We get what we desrve because the masses allow it to happen .

If he gets off the bus, watch and wait until he is out of range and on to his next delusion.

As a preemptive measure, I personally would use measured force if threatened. As an example, someone were to tell me they were going to assault me or made threatening gestures, I would take action. The criteria that must be satisfied for such action is that a reasonable person would feel they were in imminent danger and that the force used was proportional to the threat and stopped when the threat no longer posed a danger.
I would never wait for someone to assault me before I defended myself. Defense comes into play when the assault begins. Preemptive offense is in order when the threat is imminent, just keep the criteria above in mind when your attorney must defend you in court.
I can speak to this because I have experienced this on a Metrolink train in SoCal and was arrested because I acted first. The charges were dropped when it was determined that I used only the force needed to control the situation and the DA was convinced there was a real threat. The one that threatened me and several passengers was under the influence of methamphetamine and was delusional to the point of severe paranoia (had not slept in days). He only suffered bruises and a dislocated shoulder. When he was arrested, they found several knives concealed throughout his pockets, sock and backpack. This is an example of not waiting to become a victim before you act.
