Everything still is Bush’ fault… Never mind that Bush had a simple 340 Billion deficit even after 9.11 (Clinton’s leftover) and the tech bubble bursting he topped out at 5% unemployment till obama and Pelosi/reid brought their blockade and 1.5 TRILLION in deficit in his last 2 years! It was the Democrats that screamed ‘racist’ when Bush tried to get a handle on fannie and freddie and blocked oversight.

      Let me help you understand how a newspaper works. Paul Krugman is paid to express an opinion on the op-ed page of the NYT. Newspaper administration is divided between the business/advertising side and the news side to avoid conflict of interest problems. In addition, the editorial department is divided from the newsroom to ensure editorial independence.

      Krugman isn’t in a position to become publisher of the newspaper. However, he is a Nobel Prize winning economist. That counts for something, no matter how one approaches the question of his intelligence or credibility.

      expected, which may adversely affect our profitability.” Usually the first few paragraph in an annual report has the business smelling like a rose, but, some will overlook the manure to get that rose.       Progressives/socialists who like to keep citing his Nobel Prize as evidence of Krugman’s superior “intellignece” and “credibility” need to give it a break. Being a university-trained economist myself, (who attended many lectures by a variety of OTHER Nobel laureates) I assure you his interpretation of Keynsian economics and the failed policy decisions he defends are quite easily dubunked by MANY economists and financial analysts, especially those who’ve earned their living employed by the private sector and business-oriented think tanks, unlike policy-wonks whose theoretical work exists purely in academic or governmental settings.

      But even MORE easily ridiculed are his lunatic pronouncements on the relative virtues and intelligence of politicians, especially when only ONE PARTY has ever paid him a dime for his “expert advice” on the economy. Given his desperately stupid remarks of late, you can place about as much credence in his status as a Nobel laureate as you can on the embarrassingly lame organization that has seen fit to confer its highest prize on the likes of Yassir Arrafat, Al Gore and Barrack Obama. What a bunch of obvious losers, frauds and sorry jokes these vainglorious people truly are !

      actually impressed. I have to laugh at myself and others now that give it any weight what so ever.
      Just reading his columns gives you all the information you need about him. He is completely off
      the “Grid” but so is Obama.I know he is only hired to do an op-ed piece but the Newspaper also
      has an obligation to it‘s readers to be selective with the one’s they choose to represent them. I have
      a real hard time believing those figures.The “Old Gray Lady” is practically a joke now. Not just from
      the right but also from the left.Krugman has been a joke for a long time now,but he is almost demented now.

      If he were not so despicable I may could even conjure up sympathy for him.If as he says and that you indicated they may be consulting with him about economics then maybe that goes a long way in
      explaining what is happening in our country. It is much different putting a theory on paper than it is in

      Listening to the superior articulation Mr. Krugman displayed in that interview……..does his opinion of
      “they’re smart” have very much credibility?????

      Somehow he reminds me of a little abused puppy who finally found someone who pets it occasionally.

    Barack Obama’s mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, was a “fellow traveler” or Communist sympathizer. She studied Marxism in high school under Marxist teachers in Oregon. Her Socialist parents moved from Kansas so she could study under these sworn enemies of capitalism, one of whom seduced her at age 17.

    She and her parents moved to HI where she studied Anthropology and participated in Communist rallys and protests. She attended meetings of radical groups including the campus Black Panthers. Her parents home was frequently used by traveling Communist speakers passing through HI. Stanley Ann only socialized with and dated blacks. She had many lovers including Barack’s father Barack Senior who was very active in the leftist organizations. Six months after their brief encounter Stanley Ann found herself pregnant. She was at the time going eith Barack Senior so she said he was the father. Some have suggested that Barack is in reality the child of Communist radical poet and labor aggitator Frank Marshall Davis. Davis however had a suspicious wife and denied ever sleeping with the young harlot. Obama and Stanley Ann married in an African folk ceremony in Maui.

    Obama Senior had no part of his child’s life since he ran back to Kenya to become an official in the brief and corrupt Communist regime called the Kenyatta Regime. He was a bigamist since he also had a Kenyan wife.

      GOD — Glad you asked……but if you know, I guess this is just redundant…but…..doing better than ever. Have gone to HI with court orders for the “real” birth certificate – of course they refuse — going back today with more — it has been proven to be fraudulent beyond shadow of a doubt…..little problem with his Social Security number being fraudulent.       Read The Roots of Obama‘s Rage by Dinesh D’Souza. Very informative (& telling) about Obama’s real upbringing & the backgrounds of both his parents.

      As BMW5GS is saying, but for more too, get this book.
