Bush Press Sec. Fleischer Tells S.E. Cupp: Trump is not a Viable Prez Candidate

S.E. Cupp, the new star of Glenn Beck’s Mercury Radio Arts, interviewed former Bush Press Secretary Ari Fleischer yesterday about his thoughts on a Donald Trump presidential run. According to Fleischer, not only does he not think Trump is a viable candidate, but he even went as far as to say “I hope not”:

Fleischer went on to lump Trump into the same category as Barack Obama — both inexperienced.

“I just think it’s a mistake for Donald Trump to think he could walk into the White House,” Fleischer said.

Coincidentally, Rush Limbaugh interviewed Trump yesterday about “The Donald’s” presidential ambitions. Sure, they talked about his thoughts on China, his CPAC speech, and his donations to Rahm Emanuel.

But the most interesting part may be Trump’s revelation about an interesting proposal recently rejected by the White House: he offered to provide a new grand ballroom, with some estimates saying it would cost $100 million. He said the administration never got back to him:

Regarding China, energy, environmental concerns…I live along the Columbia River in Washington State. In our neck of the woods, 90% of our energy comes from abundant Hydropower. There are no coal fired plants west of the Cascade Mountains with the exception of one at Chehailis where they built one years ago in an area where they found a seam of coal.

The railroads from the interior to the coast, run along the Columbia River, the only passage through the cascades without going over mountains. In recent years, I see an increasing number of coal trains going down the river. Remember, there are no coal fired plants out there.

It turns out they are building terminals in pacific coast ports where the railroads can transfer coal onto ocean going ships. These ships are going to China.

So folks when this administration tells you that a “green economy” is the future, and allows no permits to build refineries, coal fired plants, or to drill for oil, I just cannot believe that they can think that Americans are that stupid.

It reinforces the notion that the agenda is to “collapse the system” as we know it.

As they are finding in the middle East, the ‘new medium’ strips these talking heads of their power. It shows what ‘fools’ they are.

God Bless America and support your local gun-shop.

At least they are employing Americans to dig that coal. furthermore it brings jobs and business income to your area by utilizing local resources and exporting them thereby lowering the trade deficit. Remember, exports, especially to China are helpful to our economy. The U.S. has the greatest coal reserves in the world. since this administration is against the use of coal, at least the value is is not diminished.

Trump is very interesting. I am reading his book: TRUMP The America We Deserve, written in 2000. He has the smarts and the business ‘know how’, along with knowledge and understanding of dealing with other nations. I want to know more, such as his thoughts on Constitution, why he chipped in towards Emanuals election, etc. But he is very interesting. Being a billionaire is a plus for him because we are gonna need a bunch of money to beat the Obama machine, unions and all. We need someone that America will sit up and listen to. Someone that America will say “you know, that guy is making sense”. Something to think about.

I like Ari Fleischer, personally; however, I abhor the fact that he is yet one more Party-owned front man. Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Newt Gingrich, Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney, Mitch Daniels, Haley Barbour………these men are not candidates; rather, they are recycled Party hacks. There is virtually no difference between the Parties and absolutely no difference in either Party’s end goal…One World Order.
I’ll take a Donald Trump-type candidate any day over any of these Party front men.

In my view, the viable candidates are Chris Christie, Tim Pawlenty, and Mitch Daniels, all governors. Governorship is the traditional path to the White House. I don’t think Sarah Palin is viable, although she might not be bad as a Vice Presidential candidate, next to one of them. I see here more in some sort of public relations role, though. She puts an attractive face, and approachability to conservatism, that Buckley was congenitally incapable of.

I don’t think Trump, Gingrich, or Huckabee are viable either, although I welcome what they are adding to the national debate. I really, really don’t want to see Romney up there. He is viable, but given his history of insurance “reform” in Massachusetts it’s hard not to see him as a Democrat. The last thing we need is a wobbler.

We need someone with no major demons, that is genuinely fiscally conservative, and that is intelligent and articulate enough to navigate the many snares that will certainly be set for them. I think the three I mentioned can do it.

To be fair, his bankruptcies were simply business decisions for tax relief purposes and restructuring from what I have heard. Sometimes bankruptcy isn’t exactly a bad thing, especially in Trump’s case. That being said, I don’t think Trump would make it very far, but let him run if he wants to. Fleischer (and Rove for that matter) should take GWBs lead and shut up and stop trashing potential Republican candidates, like Palin who Rove clearly dislikes. When it hit the fan and land ownership/homes/condos didn’t quite have the land rights they were told. Trump took all his money, ran away saying he was just a hired promo guy, nothing to do with me. Ask his numerous ex-wives, oh that’s right a man who promises his life to his bride only counts until you find a newer model. She gave birth to your children and you wrote her a check and said get lost. Yes that’s the man I want to lead my country, someone‘s who’s word is his bond, unless something better comes along.
