‘By Every Measure Our Economy Is Getting Stronger’: Former DNC Chair’s Startling News

Former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean on Monday delivered some startling news: despite everything that’s going on right now in the U.S. economy, we’re actually doing pretty awesome.

“Our economy is getting stronger. It may not be going fast enough, but by every measure our economy is getting stronger,” he said during a CNBC interview.

Of course, the facts beg to differ.

“A new analysis by Nicholas Colas, the chief market strategist at CovergEx in New York, reports corporate earnings estimates have dropped to levels below inflation and commensurate with 2008,” the Washington Free Beacon notes.

“The Philadelphia Federal Reserve’s business activity index, which is considered a measure of mid-Atlantic manufacturing, contracted for the second consecutive month, at a rate worse than predicted,” the report adds.

And then there was that 34K spike in Initial jobless claims we told you about last week.

“Existing home sales declined 5.4 percent in June from a month earlier–the weakest numbers since October 2011,” WFB reports.

“Earlier this month, the International Monetary Fund and JPMorgan revised their growth projections down,” the report adds.

So, yeah, we’re not entirely sure what Mr. Dean is talking about.

      Beckett you might want to differentiate between profits and revenue and report on a longer time period than one week or a month. But yes the problems in Europe and the US that are tied to the 2007-2008 bank and housing melt down are still a drag on the world and US economies. NEXT.

      You have to understand the liberal mind…intentions and feelings trump reality. So if Howie deems the economy is getting stronger..liberals want to believe it..therefore to them it’s true. It doesnt’ matter that the economy is almost flatlining…it’s intentions and feelings that matter to liberals.
      Additionally…Howie is given airtime on the alphabet networks to spew his lies and deceit. People not following the news still have an inate trust of their elected representatives..surely they wouldn’t outright lie would they?

      The only economy that is getting stronger is that of the un Federal Reserve..they aleady control half of the world’s wealth..and the rest is being transferred into their hands..One note..Since on this issue of the Blaze..it has been reported that the Catholic Church funded Obama’s communist Saul Alinky book..“Rules for Radical” dedicated to Satan for one who dared to go against God..gained his own kingdom…and that Israel’s Tea Party rally for love..the middleeast is falling apart all around them..Israel is Marxist..The Blaze reported last year an Israeli bill that would make it illegal to make comparisons to NAZISM..and most should know about the un Federal Reserve..This video should be a little more comprehensive.

      The U.S. economy is in deep, deep trouble.

      There aren’t enough jobs being created. Just to keep up with population growth, the nation requires the creation of 125,000 jobs per month to just maintain the existing unemployment figures, which are closer to 15% than 8.2, when ALL unemployment is accurately included.

      Foreclosures in the real estate market are increasing and projected to continue on for the foreseeable future. Noriel Roubini, who forecast the 2008 crash estimates that the country will explode into another depression greater than the thirties. So does Gerald Celente who also forecast the 2008 crash. Marc Faber is on board also, as is PeterSchiff, who wrote a 2006 book warning the economic bubble was set to burst soon.

      And, there isn’t enough money to go around. Everything is slowing down. Household wealth has been falling. Food prices have been rising. Many state and local governments all over the country are flat broke and are drowning in debt.

      And it’s worse in Europe. Moodys warns that Germany and the Netherlands are set to be down graded, and Spain needs a bail out. Greece is being denied bailout money payments from the IMF because of inadequate austerity measures. They will be forced to leave the EU.

      Will things change? Of course they will.

      But it will be for the worse.

      Sorry John old boy, but the economy here is set to stumble even worse in the last quarter.

      I don‘t think it’s the crack pipe. He‘s on a methane high from having his head hung up Nancy Pelosi’s methane rich colon for way too long. You can tell cause he has all those funky looking skid marks all over his forehead and that dazed look in his eyes, plus he has that ‘he smelt something funky’ look permanently affixed to his face.

      Yes, why yes they are. There was attempt to do something about them then, but Barney Frank did not want to oversee any of the housing problem loans and since he was in charge of that committee it did not happen.

      It is amazing these people can say outright lies. The major problem we face now is that this election should already be over. It “should” be a landslide victory for the GOP. Why is there even a race at this point. Every indicator from election history says Obama has no chance being reelected, yet somehow he is still hanging around.

      The main reason for this, is Romney. Romney has been playing to lose in almost ever sense. If Romney doesnt pick a super conservative/libertarian as a running mate I will be sure then, Romney is not more than a puppet candidate sent to lose.

      Obama is horrible, the worst president in modern history for sure. This election should already be over. The reason its not, is Romney is such a bad candidate. If Cain, Bachman, Perry, Gingrich, Santorum or Paul were the candidate this election would already be over. I couldnt stand the first 5 but atleast they wanted to win. Romney has been playing to lose. If he loses, like I think he will because he is going to pick a progressive VP he has no one to blame but himself. You Romney followers will have no one to blame but yourselves for following such a weak candidate that so many people told you was a mistake.

      People like you Barber deserve four more years if not more of Obama. Actually, since you are voting for Obama’s polices this might make you happy.

      Mutiny, You are exactly right. I have been trying to give all these Blazers warnings on what the election will be like. Romney has not a chance in heII of winning. He never did. He was the last pick out of all of them. The people here followed the media every step of the way. They went from one candidate to the next, whoever the media said to go for, until all they had left was Romney as the media bashed, and then blacked Paul out. I recently finished reading a small book by Andy Andrews entitled, “How Do You Kill 11 Million People? – Why the Truth Matters More Than You Think” The central answer to the question asked in this book taken from the horrific examples of WWII Germany is: “You LIE to Them! This is exactly what is happening with leaders like Howard Dean and the current DNC Chairwoman, and Pres. Obama. They REPEAT their lies endlessly hoping the gullible will deny reality and believe them so the liars can retain POWER and in turn gain MORE control over our lives!       As Allied forces rolled thru Baghdad (at one point, you could see our boys off in the distance in the background) Bob was uttering statements like, “We have the infidels right where we want them. It is only a matter of time before the Mother of all wars is won by Iraq.”

      I honestly never thought I’d live to see the day where half my fellow citizens would be instituting and buying common governmental propaganda.

      It is shocking and so difficult for a guy like me to understand. Why? I realize with leftists, the ends will always justify the means, but the “ends” in this case are horrible – even if you’re only mildly intelligent you can see this ends badly – it always does for regimes that swing left.

      Having said that, I am left with no other logical explanation than the fact that American liberals and progressives despise this country. So much so, that they’re willing to destroy it. If that’s not hate, then the word has lost its original meaning.

      30% of construction workers are unemployed
      tax payers are out 44 billlion to G.M.
      billions upon billions have been lost to shell green energy pipe dreams sponsered by deomcratic Obama backers
      unemployment is 8.2% using government math and 13% using real math and under employment is closer to 30 %.
      the largest tax increase in 50 years is going place 2013
      The tax increase he’s been crying about for the last 3 years would generate enough money to run the government for 8 days each year
      while he’s barrowing 46 times that amount every year.
      So his plan is working if his plan is to TOTALLY destroy the American economy
