C-SPAN Uses 8/28 Crowd Shot for ‘One Nation’ Promo

In promoting its coverage of Saturday’s “One Nation” rally in Washington, D.C., C-SPAN’s website offered visitors a peak at what the rally looked like on the ground along the National Mall:
But, as Gateway Pundit points out, the image they use to advertise the “One Nation Working Together” rally is actually a cropped Reuters photo taken on August 28 during the “Restoring Honor” rally hosted by Glenn Beck, seen here:
The truth is that the turnout for today’s “One Nation” rally was a fraction of the size of 8/28′s crowd, and most walked away before today’s program was over.
Before the “One Nation” program even ended, I snapped this photo looking westward down on the Mall–you can see an artist in the middle of a performance on the JumboTron on the left with the Lincoln Memorial in the background:

The Joe Madison “8-29″ remark about the crowd size did not go unnoticed. I am trying to remember how many times our volunteer military and their contributions to “One Nation” were mentioned? I did hear “veterans” mentioned at least once. Facts are curious things. Sure wish they had been more forthcoming with the facts about the purpose of the Tea Party groups and the distinction between Tea Party rallies and the 8-28 Restoring Honor rally. God Bless America. It’s grand to have our First Amendment that applies to all, isn’t it?

AND while i Did see the rally for about 20 minutes before I got disgusted when somone came onto the stage saying that the ARIAL photos had JUST come in and they had more people than the Beck rally did…. that is when I said to myself… blah… why are the so concerned about the AMOUNT to people and not the message? Seems to me that the message should matter more than the population.
Then they did a shot down the reflection pond… and I noticed that there were no people under the trees, there were few people behind the speakers and there were quite a few white chairs that were empty. Then I saw the signs….. something about ending war and Racism…
I can say this… I live in Texas… there a re a ton of opportunities for racism down here… Black Mexicans, Whites, Asian… we all live here. And We are ALL tired of the race card.
Plus there was a heck of a lot of purple there.

The Honor part of Restoring Honor escaped the media both times. They showed their Lack of Honor with their intentionally dishonest reporting ..It was not just simple honest mistakes.

I understand your comment that the message should be more important than the crowd size but you need to remember that the left’s “message” isn’t working any more, thus they have to resort to distorting the strength of their support. That was THE only message that mattered to them. Regardless of how they spin it or what lies they tell, this was a “counter-rally“ that was meant to show ”there are more of us than there of you” and as with all the other arguments from the left, no inconvenient truths can be allowed to interfere..
