CAIR: America Needs to Move On From 9/11 Attacks

The head of the Chicago chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations said Thursday that except for remembering its victims, America needs to move on from the Sept. 11 attacks.
CAIR leader Ahmet Rehab told CBS Chicago that Americans need to stop linking the events of 9/11 with the Muslim religion.
He said many Americans are still under the false impression that Islam is a radical religion and that its believers want to turn the U.S. into a Shariah-compliant country.
“It was always a gang of criminals, called Al Qaida, who happened to be Muslim, who are trying to justify their acts through faith and through religion,” Rehab said.
He said the U.S. needs to move on from that.
Additionally, Rehab said the American people should not let “politicians, right-wingers and TV networks” make them fear fellow Americans who are Muslim, CBS reported.
He said the way to defeat fear is through hope, and the way to defeat terrorism is through American values and principles.

Until then, their words are meaningless. Let me see them show some hope and courage and publicly condemn all radical elements of the Muslim faith. Denounce them as not a part of the faith they practice. Then see if they aren’t threatened to be beheaded.

All that is necessary is for Muslims to stop murdering people in the name of Islam. It would, of course, take a while – but there is no doubt that the declining reputation of Islam would begin to be restored by this simple step. Trying to persuade people that Islam is a religion of peace while people are being murdered every day all over the world by Muslims in the name of Islam is not a winning strategy. It makes people think CAIR and others who try to spin it that way are crazy or, more likely, dishonest. Who are they trying to kid?

NO no false impression its exactly what the majority of us think.. well I dont consider it a religion but a death cult. AS for the desire to implement Sharia… actions speak louder than words. Plenty of articles, news pieces etc have been done on how Sharia and those in support are trying to move it into America. We are seeing it overseas in countries coming apart with Sharia rising up from the flames. We have heard numbskulls like Imam Choudary speak on it. As for the islamic community their silence on everything going on is just another feather in that hat proving they approve of it all.
