CAIR Holds Islamic Prayers at Occupy Wall Street

On Thursday The Blaze reported that the Council on American Islamic Relations’ New York chapter was planning to host Friday prayers this week with Occupy Wall Street protesters in Zucotti Park.
Pictures and video are now circulating of the Jummah prayer session, which more than 300 people indicated they would attend on the Facebook event page.
“Over the past several weeks, it has become clear that many of the demands of Occupy Wall Street parallel those of the New York Muslim community,” CAIR said in an invitation on its website. “It is time for the New York Muslim community to assume its place in the fight for political and economic equality in this country, and it is vital that the youth lead the way.”

They had control of the textbooks and taught about Islam in a good light while mentioning Christanity only once. It is no longer available. I will remind you that when the Muslim/Communist commedian Al Franken lost to GOP senator in Minnesota.. Hilary and bill flew there and pulled more votes out of car trunks than people even registered to vote in Minnesota. Then ole Al went to the middlle east to offer between 300-350 jobs “in government” to the muslims. Well heck..we do have a flippin Muslim running our country with his Pro Sharia cabinet and “Czars” surrounding him and his newly appointied Sharia Law pushing Elena Kagan Supreme Court Judge who represented him 8 times I believe on his legitamacy hearings..We have been taken over without firing a shot. It’s unbelievable.. but they pulled a fast one on us with their “Politically Correctness” which is a dirty “word” to me. They have done a good job at endoctrinating our children. The Liberal media laughed at the crazy man, but it it turns out that Beck was totally correct and by viewing the behavior of the OCW people, we see that THEY are the crazies.

These are not the most selfless people among us as Van Jones called them. I‘m poor and I don’t want any hand outs. I want to earn my own way. The only government help I EVER took was unemployment for a (very) short while during the Carter recession. OCW are the most selfish among us – excluding the white collar cronies with politicians in their pockets which seem to be mostly mostly Democrats.
Look at the list at 3:20 of this video to see who takes the most money from big businesses and unions.

First of all, the call to prayer is more than just that and it is different depending on the time of day.
And in any case, why does that bother you? Those two words you pasted simply mean “God is Great”. Every Christian and every Jew would agree that God is Great. There is nothing menacing about it.
Does it bother you because that is the stereotypical last phrase uttered by Islamic suicide bombers? If that‘s the case then you should probably never recite the Lord’s Prayer or say Shema either because those are likewise said by the religiously observant before battle.

That is WRONG WRONG WRONG! ““Allahu ackbar” means “Allah is greatest!” It is a supremacist statement that Allah is greater than all other gods. It is well understood by most who are up on such things that Allah has substantially different characteristics from the God of Christians and Jews – so much so that many experts have characterized Allah as an anti-God – 180 degrees off – the the distant impersonal god of coerced obedience opposed to the near, personal God of voluntary obedience out of mutual love. That vast distinction explains the huge difference in morality between western Judeo-Christian cultures and Islamic culture.

Unfortunately since it’s not the mainstream religion no one cares enough to go out of their way to find them and report on it. Vocal atheist are a fringe group anyway… the rest of us let the believers do as they will. You want to pray to monotheistic God A in the street? Go for it. The other people want to pray to monotheistic God B in the street too? Go for it. The only time you’ll hear the ones like myself is when believers do things like attempt to change the geology or biology textbooks to fit with things that belong solely in Sunday school.
