CAIR Joins Occupy Wall Street, Will Hold Jummah Friday Prayers in Zuccotti Park

They say one can tell a lot about people by the company they keep. If that adage is true, what does the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) endorsement of Occupy Wall Street — and the organization’s choice to conduct Friday “Jummah” prayers in Zuccotti Park — tell us about both CAIR, and, the Occupy protesters?

CAIR Joins Occupy Wall Street, Will Hold Jummah Friday Prayers in Zuccotti ParkAn official invitation issued by CAIR’s New York chapter tells members to show “solidarity” with “the 99%” by attending Friday prayers in Zuccotti Park at 1:00pm. CAIR’s stated goal in hosting the prayer service at OWS is to “expand the role of New York Muslims in the Occupy movement.”

A “sermon on social justice in Islam” is slated to be delivered my Imam Aiyub Abdul Baki — a supporter of the Ground Zero mosque.

Dear friends,CAIR-NY is proud to support and invite you to Friday Prayer at Occupy Wall Street this Friday,CAIR Joins Occupy Wall Street, Will Hold Jummah Friday Prayers in Zuccotti Park October 21st, where we will join in solidarity with “the 99%.” Jummah, hosted by Majlis Ash-Shura (Islamic Leadership Council of New York) is scheduled for 1pm at Zuccotti Park. A sermon on social justice in Islam will be delivered by Imam Aiyub Abdul Baki.

CAIR-NY’s endorsement of Friday Prayer at Occupy Wall Street stems from a conviction that many of the issues brought into the international spotlight by Occupy Wall Street affect Muslim communities disproportionately, and it is up to us to stand up for our rights and show the world what democracy and peaceful protest look like. Look for our table at Zuccotti Park to obtain information about our current projects and to expand the role of New York Muslims in the Occupy Wall Street movement.

      Now you know the rest of the story. Go to washington you fools, theres your problem! Not to say Wall Street is perfect either, but come on, student loans is Wall Streets problem. People, you need to wake up and realize what you are doing, you are vying for the Hale Furor wanna be dictator and that’s getting very dangerous. Impeach them all but we need to have a sound and non corrupt government. I agree with some of the frustrations and voices I’ve heard from some of these folks but for the most part, you folks don’t really have an independent leadership, you are being played like sheep. Wake up because it’s a bad dream. Take individual responsibility for what you’ve done to. I don‘t want to pay for other peoples educations and if that’s forgiven, then I want all the money back I saved to send my kids to college to, Shame, Shame, Shame, Shame on you who think this world should be a free ride and you don’t have to take responsibility.       Many of the protesters have been served food that is not organic. Some of the vegetarians have been served food that might contain animals or animal bi-products. These protesters are breathing NYC air, sleeping on the ground, surrounded by garbage, urine and human feces. It’s important to have a good diet to remain healthy.

      There are very few free-range pigs that are raised organically. Bacon is the worst offender. The preservatives and food additives have been proven to ****** brain development in young adults.

      I foresaw this happening! (just not this fast) I have been blogging about this!! This is the beginning of stage 3, the muslim/islamist are getting involved and you think that the crowds were rowdy when the law tried to shut them down before?? Now it is beyond controlling. When the law steps in to do anything restrictive in nature they will be met with massive resistance that will echo accross the country. Things are not as they seem!!! Don’t dismiss their calls for revolution as frivolous!

      If you have loved ones that live near any of these protest areas in any of the cities where these protesters are, I suggest you get them out of there as fast as you can!! This may be your last WARNING!! THEY ARE IN DANGER!! THEY ARE NOT SAFE ANY LONGER!! These groups will not only get violent they will be stretegically bombing their targets and will openly be facing off with the officers there to contain the mobs. The first gun that shows up will be all that the law needs to take action and it will be a all out street war like lebenon or Iraq in the larger cities. One marter in any city is all they want.

      IF YOU HAVE KIDS THAT ARE IN THESE PROTESTS AND YOU WANT TO SEE THEM AGAIN GET THEM OUT OF THESE AREAS NOW!! 11/11/11 = TOTAL CHAOS.. the beginning of the fall of civility as a character of the protests and the CITIES WILL BURN!!

      I saw the article with the statement from the “Dick Trumpka” and was mad about his statement and thought it was strange that all the people in the background were in devout muslim headgear. Then I saw this article this evening and it all fell into place. They are working thier plan for the overthrow of the entire system RIGHT NOW!! The Socialist Union leadership, the extrem muslim islamists, the communist, the political LEFT, and the lost generation qith putty for brains are all going to force the reality down the throats of everyday Americans very soon.

      4th – get active and violent – Law Enforcement engaged – Natl Guard – Martial Law

      It IS wrong for our government to kill an American citizen without a fair trial. Do you realize that by criticizing Ron Paul on this issue you are choosing to allow the government to pick and choose who is and is not a terrorist?

      The Constitutional law against taking life or property from an American citizen without a fair trial IS FOR YOUR protection, not the terrorists.

      I have a bad feeling that the next election will not happen soon enough to make a difference, IF we make it as a country to the next election the solutions we talk about today will be a bunch of shoulda, woulda, coulda’s in our wish list of druthers. We would have to remove this president from office to save our republic and I don’t see that happening in time to save us from the destruction we face over the next few months much less the next year.

      The constitution has been shredded in front of our eyes over and over again and NO ONE but Ron Paul has even made a comment about it. This president has violated his Oath of Office repeatedly and still no OUTRAGE!

      NoOne is under investigation, NoOne is being held accountable, NoOne is being FIRED!
      Congress is passing laws to restrict your gun rights, limit your freedoms and restrict your activities to include property rights. Our way of life, as we have known it, is nearly over except for the implementation and they have that in the works right NOW!

      I‘m new here and I don’t know what OWS means. I hope someone can/will enlighten me. I do fear that marshall law will be established with the help of this kind of protest & with the likes of those that are engaging in the “protests” I don’t think the American citizens understand how very dangerous this is & so many people will be deceived, families broken up physical harm looting & property destroyed. We need to read the history of Islam and the Muslim people so we can spot their ‘taqiyya’ (lies) and defend against their Jihad.       I totally agree with you & there’s been only one politician that I know of that has challenged the Muslim “faith” & that’s Allen West, he used their Quran against them in a townhall meeting earlier this year. Yep, I agree that with the Supreme Court Justices on the bench that are wanting to use international law in OUR courts will probably embrace the “Sharia” laws in our courts also. The U.N. is waiting for the ratification of the treaty of the International Criminal Court (ICC) so they can prosecute our military for “war crimes” & would be tried by those on the council & they would be tried, convicted, sentenced to foreign prisons. Just take a look at the different nations that are on the council that would try them! I’m also expecting that soon, those in Gitmo will be released also so that this president can fulfill another one of his “promises!” Jus sayin!

    Given the antisemetic chants and comments by the current X and Y generation protestors spreading across this Republic, and the ugly crime that is increasingly accompanying these fractious rioters, having the muslim jew haters tagging along seems appropriate. They probably will find great acceptance. Let’s see, according to news reports, amongst the tent cities erected by the protestors, there is pornography, public sexual intercourse, people parading in the nude, rape (of both women and men), thefts, bigotry, public defacation and urination on buildings, pavement and law enforcement vehicles, etc. I see the Jew-hating Muslims (who for some “odd” reason want to live in this country) fitting right in. Seriously though, I do have to wonder exacty who suggested to them that they participate in all this fracas which their religion condemns? My answer: the flame-fanner in the oval office.

    Time to draw a line in the sand, America. The initial occupiers had no purpose and/or no specific cause. Now the scene has become “operation push” for the Moslems. Bloomberg is such a wimp, they’ll get their way and more. One only has to look at London and Paris to see the extent of their push. How about a nice drone excercise over Zucotti park, say about 2 PM on Friday?
    Lock and load, gang. They’re here and they are militant. If I’m wrong, I’ll apologize. It’s the new thing in America, inspired by the apologizer in chief. These people are taught from birth to hate and kill all infidels (convert, conquer, kill). They know no other way. Trust yourself and no one else. It’s not a game wiith a reset button.       Just about right! CAIR will not speak out against Muslim terrorist, but are more than happy to jump on the band wagon and put down hard working American’s. It’s freaking hard to love all of these dead beats. But I’ll pray that they see the error of their ways.       I agree this is like Chicago in 1968. Grant Park looked a lot like the current occupation camps. But this time they control the unions.

      People dump on the Chicago cops for taking care of business, but they forget that the cops stepped aside when the Steel Worker Union came in and really cleaned up. Yea you can get a lawyer, but it looks like you’re gonna need a doctor.
