CAIR Promises to Remove Image Warning of Cooperation With the FBI

The image is being used on a web page promoting a CAIR California event next month in Oakland.  Fox News is reporting that the Council on American-Islamic Relations has vowed to remove the image.  But when I checked a few minutes ago it was still there:

Even while agreeing to take it down, CAIR officials are not exactly saying they are sorry for using the image, calling it a “subject of misinterpretation”:

The poster, which appeared on the website of CAIR’s California chapter, features a sinister looking FBI agent with the headlines, “Build a Wall of Resistance,” and “Don’t Talk to the FBI.”

“I think it’s subject to misinterpretation,” spokesman Ibrahim Hooper told Fox News Radio. “We decided out of extreme caution to take it down.”

The poster was promoting a conference called, “FBI Raids and Grand Jury Subpoenas: Know Your Rights and Defend Our Communities.”

The keynote speaker is Hatem Abudayyeh, identified by CAIR as an activist and Palestinian community leader whose home was allegedly raided by federal agents in September.

Hooper conceded the poster “crosses the line” but refused to renounce the artwork and blamed critics for fomenting what he called a manufactured controversy.

    EVEN COPS DON’T TALK TO COPS, Search the details of the subway cop who shot the unruly black passanger, Johannes Mehserle. What did he say to the investigators,? Nothing, absolutely nothing. If you talk, you are a big sucker. Another cop has a web site on 10 things to do if you are arrested, one of them is DON’T TALK. Cops DO NOT have to be honest when questioning you. They can say whatever they want to, to get you to sing like a canary.

    Of course if you suspect your neighbor is doing somehting illegal then by all means sing like a canary.

      I agree with all you said there Chiefgeorge; however, I would ask just what in history makes you think it can be done “even” with the teachings of Christ. I mean for 2000 years we have had the teachings of Christ to live by and I really don’t see how it has helped anything, except the personal satisfaction such faith offers. A sincere question

    I think we should visit this meeting. If a few hundred non muslims were in the room, perhaps eating pork rinds, what could they do about it? It is a free meeting. I would love for one ********** to lay a hand on me. He would get one touch……. then all bets are off. It is time to take out the trash…. of all kinds. What happened in Az was tragic.     This is a nonstory/nonissue. Many people, including WASPS, wouldn’t talk to the FBI. There is no certainty that there is a moral and ethical assertion to many agents. Furthermore, everyone has the 5th amendment. By the way, who voted that agency into existance? The people didn’t.

    This poster is a “subject of misinterpretation”? Wow, they really think that the American people are stupid. Are they trying to say that there is some aspect of it that we don’t “understand”. Are they trying to say that the concept is too complex or that there is cultural nuances that we are unable comprehend? Please clarify it for me. Here’s a crazy thought, how about it means exactly what it says. These are the only people I can think of that will cut off someone’s head for disagreeing with them and then complain that people are prejudiced against them and that they are a religion of peace. CAIR’s agenda has nothing to do with promoting the American dream or anything to do with Muslims fitting into American society. I think that they want to promote Islam, shariah law, and consider the United States society corrupt and evil. They will not condemn any crime perpetrated by a Muslim.

    Any, so called “religion” in the United States that requires it’s own legal system, does not BELONG in the United States of America…if they cannot live with obeying our laws, then leave…unfortunately, it really is a bit more complicated than this because our legal system is no longer governed by the Constitution and has not been for 60 years…our court processes are now “guided” by what is called “Case Law”…look it up…we have very big problems to overcome in this country if we want to keep Sharia Law OUT…America had better wake up, continue to get educated as to what the Progressives have done and are doing to our Republic…we’d better get true Constitutionalist or Libertarian officials into our legislature and demand a return to Constitutional governance in the enforcement of our laws!       In Oklahoma, we voted on a bill to prevent courts from using Sharia or international law in rulings, restricting them to Federal, State, and Local laws. It passed with an overwhelming majority but now a lawsuit (from a Muslim) is preventing it from being enacted.

    I have said it before on other posts, 1.2 billion muslims, with majority in 50 countries, and to this day, not one country has told the so called extremist to leave, or that they have different beliefs, now leave or we will force you out.       Muslims and their Imams have denounced terrorism, are denouncing terrorism and will keep doing so in speech, in writing and in rallies. Curiously, the media is not reporting any of it.

      Case in point: I’m sure you heard of the recent incident when a terrorist killed 23 people in Egypt by bombing a mass.

      What you DIDN’T hear is of the Egyptian Muslims who, following that heinous act, willingly joined the Christians in their mass to act as human shields to prevent further bombings, risking their own lives to prevent further bombings and to show solidarity.

      IMO this is meaningless. Just because they are taking this down (plan to) doesnt mean they still aren’t advocating the policy. The muslim population hasn’t done anything to date to demonstrate what they “preach” ‘religion of peace’.       I looked up the Sharia compliant mortgages ,and maybe its me, but I felt sick after researching it. The neighborhoods in the background looked just like mine. All I could think was if a Sharia compliant family lived next door,and my teenage son and their teenage daughter fell in love, which one would have to die in the name of honor. Large major banks in this country dont want to mess with them mortgages, they (banks) say there to hi risk. Why is states like Minnesota participating in stuff like this to include Fannie Mae? Saudie Arabia giving money to European countries to help get muslims homes. The Federal Government is bending over backwards to help every dayum muslim and every dayum Illeagal at our expense..Guess Thats what Berry meant “Spread The Wealth”

      And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: “The Wages of Sin is Death.”

      In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all,

      And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: “If you don’t work you die.”

      Then the Gods of the Market tumbled, and their smooth-tongued wizards withdrew

      What do you mean if it doesn’t happen?? How do you expect to go, if you don’t have faith? That which is not of faith is sin. The Bible is not unclear about the “snatching away.” We will meet Jesus in the air. The dead in Christ will rise first, then the living will be changed in the twinkling of an eye, and thus we will always be with the Lord.

      The story was on the Blaze. Psalm 109:8. The prison guard was suspended I think, and the FBI showed up on his doorstep.

      Look, KRYPTONITE, “I come as a thief in the night” and one‘s interpretation of that from the 1800’s doesn’t convince me. What DOES is the passage that says “The just and unjust shall suffer the tribulation”.
      Either way, and I’ll say again, if it DOESN’T happen, what are you prepared to do in defence of your home and your faith?

      My final thought…. I don’t give a DAMN about islam here in America. Our fouders didn’t think about it when constuding the First Amendment because at the time, islam wasn’t an issue. They wanted a freedom of CHRISTIAN beliefs, free from restraint, but a CHRISTIAN belief system none the less. “peaceful muslims” are either athiests or operatives here ready to roll against our communities, as the koran teaches either “conversion or death by beheading” What do YOU all think these “peaceful followers” will choose when their radical leaders ask tem to choose a side?

      “As a thief in the night” is an allusion to the Jewish bridegroom of Jesus’ time. That is how men claimed their brides. I know it is kind of hard to picture, but we are the Bride of Christ.

      Where’s that verse you quoted?

      As for the Muslims, who do you think has their foot in your door already, the Reds or the ragheads? True, Muslims will eventually rule, but you and I may be dead by then. The way things are going, it will be a painfully slow death, a la commie tyranny. In fact, we have already died a little as a country.

      You know their response is to be expected, think about it we’ve gone to the extreme on giving them the benefit of the doubt and to what end. Think of it this way the pc police have made use vulnerable having our speech limited and God forbid if they be question on motive. So when CAIR puts out a statement “I think it’s subject to misinterpretation” it shows you how stupid they think we are. Maybe a dimwit would by such a lame explanation of the poster, but a thinking person would see it for what it is.

      Once again CAIR wants to promote radical muslims by telling all of them to band together and not cooperate with the FBI. CAIR does not care about AMERICA, AMERICAN values or AMERICAN laws, they want the shariah law and muslim take over of the US. Abolish CAIR and send all non-citizen muslims home, investigate all the others, if they have even 1 radical tie, send them back to the middle east.

      Hate to break it to you but there is no rapture buddy. Got a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. The end times “theology” of the rapture isn’t even 150 years old yet! It was first contrived in the 1890′s and the first record of this “rapture” idea is traced back to the fever induced rantings of a woman in her bed during a prayer vigil. The verses used to support the rapture theology are cobbled together and taken out of context. The rapture stands in direct opposition to what Christ said personally about the end times as well as his prayer in the garden of Gethsemane. Americans love the idea of the rapture because it’s all about not having to go through difficulty or pain.
