Calif. Diver Vows to Find, Photograph bin Laden’s Body

Veteran diver Bill Warren.
A California diver is about to spend $400,000 and two weeks looking for unequivocal proof that the U.S. killed Osama bin Laden. He‘s setting out to find and film the body of the world’s former number one terrorist.
“I’m doing it because I am a patriotic American who wants to know the truth. I do it for the world,” veteran diver Bill Warren told the New York Post.
The money will go toward renting a ship in India for $10,000 a day, and another $1,000 a day will go toward a remote-controlled submarine.
WDAM-TV gives more details about the mission:
Warren claims he has a good idea where bin Laden’s body is located, and said his 180-foot boat is waiting in Western India with high-tech equipment that can point out just about anything in water.
“It’s what they found the Titanic with, it’s sidescan sonar, and it’s very high tech,” Warren said.
There’s a lot of thought that finding the body in an open ocean will be very difficult, and bin Laden’s body may be decomposed beyond recognition.
“The fish can’t get at it. It’s in a sealed Navy burial bag, zipped up,” Warren said. “White canvass rubber lined inside, 200-pounds of weights.”
Warren already has plans if he does find the corpse.
“We would photograph, videotape, do a DNA test and then try to figure out what we are going to do with his body after that,” he said.
Bin Laden, who was killed in early May by a team of Navy SEALS, was buried in the Arabian sea by the air craft carrier USS Carl Vinson. The administration decided on that procedure so as not to create a pilgrimage site for radical Muslims. Photos of bin Laden’s corpse have not been releases, but they have been shown to a select group of legislators.
“The Obama administration should have released the photo, like we did with Billy the Kid, or [John] Dillinger, or even Saddam Hussein,” Warren told the Post. “I have a Russian girlfriend, and she tells me that over there, in intelligence circles, they don‘t believe bin Laden’s really dead.”
Warren has discovered more than 200 shipwrecks in his career. He hasn’t said when he will undertake his bin Laden mission.

Posted on June 13, 2011 at 10:11amThis guy will find nothing. 1) The body is already consumed by the creatures of the sea. 2) There is so much land to cover, even if he has the exact GPS location of where he was dumped into the sea, currents, body mass, and other data would have to be taken into consideration to even begin to calculate where the body might possibly have landed on the ocean floor. Then again, perhap Mohammed pulled his body directly from the sea and has him in paradise with him right now.

The Titanic sank in one spot….and didnt move. Bin Ladens body……sheesh only God knows where it is and by the way by now it would be nothing but some bones scattered all across the ocean floor….covered up by now. Personally, I think Bin Laden has been dead for years, probably from illness or maybe even from a military drone attack. This ‘magical’ side scan sonar has enough trouble finding a whole ship in an area where you already know or suspect it went down.
Unless this guy has the coordinates of where OBL was dumped and he went straight down and is still there.. he could spend the rest of his life just scanning for every lump the size of a coffee table on the sea bed, much less actually investigating them.
I assume that in the process every lost ship and treasure ever lost will be recovered too. What hogwash.

Natalee Holloway has not been found in 6 years and likely she suffered the same fate as Osama. Further, they dumped her with limited resources. Assuming the U.S. government even were factual in their coordinates that they dumped him, which if they are lying about his death and burial, do you actually think they would tell the truth about the area of coordinates. Then you would have to follow currents and assume predators did not change or eat the aftermath. This guy is either beyond a knuckle-dragging fool, or it is done in cooperation with a complicit government who wants Osama to be found to dredge up a story and create another small bump without any traceability. We are not talking about a golf ball in an aquarium. The feat would be impossible at best!
