Camera Catches Boehner Lighting Up During South Lawn Picnic

It’s well known that Speaker of the House John Boehner is a regular smoker. He‘s defended it in the past and said he’s not going to quit. But even knowing all that doesn‘t mean it isn’t a little odd to actually see him lighting up. And it’s even more odd to see him lighting up on the South Lawn of the White House.

But that’s what happened yesterday when Boehner attended the annual congressional picnic:

The AP has more about the event:

President Barack Obama is hosting lawmakers for a White House tradition – the annual congressional picnic that gives lawmakers a chance to put aside their partisan fights and pick up plates of hot dogs and pies.

This year the theme on the South Lawn was State Fair, and booths offered ice cream sundaes, kettle corn and even pie throwing.

Many lawmakers both Democratic and Republican attended Wednesday, including Obama’s chief congressional antagonist, House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio.

In brief remarks Obama said he hoped the spirit of community evident at the picnic would carry over into other days, and despite their differences people would remember all are part of the American family.

It will take more than the next, the next and the next! All the “bluebloods”, as they think themselves, to be need to be flushed with red blooded Americans. The problem is that the newby’s get tainted before the flushing can be completed. We need term limits and strict adherence to the constitution. it is sad when only seventeen % of our elected congressional members can pass a questionaire about the content/protections of the constitution. Shoudn’t they be tested before they are elected? Wake up people!

I can not believe they actually caught someone on camera, smoking a cigarette outside. This is Huge News !!!!!! I expect this to be on the front page of the local fish wrap tomorrow. Seriously, CNN is so hard up for news that they attempt to make this newsworthy? It’s no wonder only the sheeple watch Lame-stream media anymore. Freakin’ Liberals need to focus on more important issues than Bohner smoking a cig.

I have never been a smoker, but I can’t understand why this is significant. Cigarettes are a legal product, just like beer. The President can share a beer on the lawn and it is praised. Freedom of choice. Period.

More importantly people in GREECE are fighting the good fight against “Banking Cartels” who TANKED their ECONOMY(like they are doing here.) They are calling for their ARRESTS!! They are calling for the arrest of their CORRUPT governmental officials. Mercernaries are infiltrating legitimate protestors by acting as anarchist. Greek LAWYER class and even cops…calling for the ARRESTS those that orchestrated the“ economic terrorism” !!!!!!

Last week the Swiss and Italians called for the arrest of Kissinger, now the Greeks calling for the arrests of “People affiliated with the NWO, UN AGENDA 21″ Criminal Bankers and Bureaucrats that are causing wars and destroying economical structures of sovereign nations. GREEKs ARE CALLING THE PRESENT GOVERNMENT, “treasonous.“ Calling Goldman Sachs ”Economic Terrorist!!!!”

THE TRUTH IS COMING OUT!!!!! AND THE GREEKS ARE AT THE VANGUARD OF FIGHTING AGAINST THE “BANKING CARTELS” AND THEIR “POLITICIAN TERRORIST! allies”
The Greeks were looted like we are being looted by bankers and their own government! (where’s all that missing bail out money? hmmmmmmm) this was done to greeks. THIS IS not about the “Austerity measures” as we are led to believe, this is about CORRUPTION IN THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF GREEK GOVERNMENT and the GREEKS ARE STANDING UP TO THE CRIMINALS IN HIGH PLACES!!!!!!!

Obama you are next you and your damned czars.

People elected their government and those elected officals gave them what they wanted, and either didn‘t care or didn’t want to know that a day of reconing woudl happen. Now the people are made and want what they cannot have let alone afford. Either the present elected greek government should resign in mass and let the fools take over. In which case Greece will end as a country we know, or accept the reality and get to work.

???????? At the annual congressional picnic ????????????

I don’t care if Boehner smokes.

I do care about this expense, no matter the $$$,$$$ it costs, or the $$$ it costs. This is an example where the Speaker should have said the taxpayers need not suffer this expense and cancel it until further notice. And, no I don’t think a special interest group should fund it or sponsor it as an alternative.

This minor amount of $$$,$$$ had it been saved would have shown that someone is getting serious about ALL spending, not just the big stuff that needs dealt with as well. I believe alot of us wood like to have a picnic of our closest 500 friends paid for by the taxpayers. A picnic? What does it solve legislatively? Is this the picnic summit to be followed by the “golf summit” on Sunday?

Does anybody else see this, or are we going to go with not voting for Boehner because he smokes a cigarette? I won‘t vote for him or anyone that doesn’t have a record/plan/stand of VOTING for balancing the budget, cutting spending, holding/reducing the deficit, and the debt ceiling. But, if he gets this accomplished that I will send him a pack of smokes for doing something meaningful, rather than putting around the golf course with the big O’s 73rd round of golf since holding office…. how much is that costing us? I know, who cares, right? What?
