Obama Scolds, Blames ‘Climate Change Deniers’

During a private fundraiser in San Francisco yesterday, President Obama slipped into full campaign mode in order to blame Congress for not passing his sweeping energy policy: It’s those darn climate-change truthers believers.

“There are climate change deniers in Congress and when the economy gets tough, sometimes environmental issues drop from people’s radar screens,” Obama told about 200 guests at the residence of internet billionaire Marc Benioff, according to an official transcript obtained by Talking Points Memo. “But I don‘t think there’s any doubt that unless we are able to move forward in a serious way on clean energy that we’re putting our children and our grandchildren at risk. So that’s not yet done.”

Even TPM, a liberal website, noticed the frankness.

“But the remark was nonetheless unusual for a President who often avoids the frank language his sympathetic advocates use,” the site said.

Both TPM and the Huffington Post, however, said the comments were also meant as a shot at the GOP since, “those climate change deniers are all Republicans.”

But that doesn’t seem to jibe with a recnt Think Progress article, which notes that 19 Democrats recently “voted to to reverse the Environmental Protection Agency’s endangerment finding that greenhouse gas pollution threatens the health and welfare of Americans with a wide range of impacts, including more frequent and severe droughts and wildfires.”

    Dear Employees:

    As the CEO of this organization, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our President and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way. To compensate for these increases, our prices would have to increase by about 10%. But since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off sixty of our employees instead. This has really been bothering me since I believe we are family here and I didn’t know how to choose who would have to go.

    So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lots and found sixty ‘Obama’ bumper stickers on our employees’ cars and have decided these folks will be the ones to let go. I can’t think of a more fair way to approach this problem. They voted for change……I gave it to them.

    I will see the rest of you at the annual company picnic.

To claim it is now a dangerous gas is beyond stupid and more over to claim that global warming is being caused by a gas that makes up.00015% of our atmosphere is science fiction on a scale even Hollywood can’t comprehend.       The easiest way to cut down on co2 emissions is to ban all carbonated drinks including Champagne because each of those little bubbles adds to the problem. Next ban all motor racing of any kind, NASCAR, F1, monster trucks and drag racing. Then make all farm equipment electric. Okay, so an electric tractor won’t have the power or speed of diesel and we will probably starve, but hey it saves the planet. Lastly take away all government vehicles and replace them with bicycles and let Obama pedal his a$$ all over the place while he apologizes for American excellence.

      Oh now besides being a Doctor of Medicine, as you pointed out, he is an expert in climatology too!? Curious will he be explaining how the earth warmed up after the last ice age?! I dont recall machines, cars, methane production etc etc 10,000 yrs ago. The earth goes through heating and cooling periods, more than likely as a result of activity from the sun. God help us all if the sun gets a fever! Sad how blind these fools are to planetary change, they all probably think the continents will look the way they do today 100-500-1000 years+++ from now too I bet!

      Or am I completely off and this is Bush’s fault?

      They had to start calling it climate change instead of global warming because the idea that the earth heating up can result in cold weather thanks to deep ocean currents and glacial melt is wayyyyyy too complicated for you guys to grasp.       A while back, Obama had some Ice Cream in someones shop, I think it was ice cream. Anyway I’ve often wondered how I would respond if he were to show up at my door or workplace.
      I have come to the conclusion that in either case that he would first get an earful about respect, integrity, and a few other choice words. What he would not get is service, of any type, but that of having the way out shown to him.
      Obama does not deserve, nor has he earned my trust or respect. The title President of the United States may carry implied respect, in his case it carries deminished respect. the long litany of his wrongs while in office speak to a distinct lack of character on his part, as well as upon the cadavers of those that support, yes even vote for him.

Look at the WHOLE climate – snow is increasing at the south pole, further I challenge you assertion that this is warmest decade on record. How do you explain al gore’s hockey stick graph, when you look at the FACTS, oh those pesky FACTS. Would it surprise anyone that the global temperature increased when Siberian weather stations were all taken off line, and a number of the remaining stations experienced development and found themselves in paved parking lots, and near buildings – these two FACTS contribute to the false claim that we are experiencing global warming. You are either ignorant, or a liar. Neither characteristic inclines me to believe you.
