Casey Anthony Appears in Mysterious YouTube Video

Casey Anthony has allegedly resurfaced in a new-found YouTube video that is said to have been recorded back in October. The “Early Show” reported, definitively, that the woman portrayed in the video is Anthony, while others have been cautious in attributing the video to the young mother. MyFoxPhoenix.com, for instance, reported that it “appears” to be Anthony in the video.
Here’s the CBS “Early Show” report:
MSNBC reports:
While Casey Anthony sightings have been scarce in the six months since she was cleared of killing her toddler daughter Caylee, the 25-year-old has resurfaced in a video that she apparently recorded herself in October. [...]
Anthony’s appearance is markedly different from her last public showing in the Florida courtroom as her “not guilty” verdict was read — she sports short, blonde locks and wears glasses. She revealed that she’ll remain in her hiding spot “at least until the end of February.” And as she talks about her new life, Anthony indicates this video diary may not be her last.
“It‘s just a little surreal how much things have changed since July and how many things haven’t changed,” she says in the video. ”Things are starting to look up and things are starting to change in a good way.”
While numerous outlets, including the “Today Show” are reporting the authenticity of the clip, Gawker raises some questions worth noting:
Where did this video come from? Today doesn’t give its source, but their version is watermarked with a two-line ad for “Up-to-Date News/Videos from around-the-World & Casey Anthony.” The same watermark appears on every other version I’ve found online, including People magazine’s version, which came from the Facebook page of “People Against ‘We Support Casey Anthony.’“ People cites a “source who knows Casey’s current whereabouts” who says Casey released the video intentionally. But if that’s the case, then where is the original version? Why would Casey Anthony, who is on probation and in hiding, purposefully advertise “around-the-World” news in a months-old video? This feels like an unintentional release to me, of a video meant for a smaller audience, or therapy, or something.
Below, watch the full clip, during which she talks about buying a computer, adopting a dog, being afraid of being on camera (she’s apparently trying to tackle that fear), her quest to keep audio and video diaries and the way in which she views her current situation:
Nowhere in the video does she mention her deceased daughter, Caylee.

I agree with you on two points; the “who cares” part and we don’t know for sure if she killed her daughter. Our judicial system did its job and she is a free woman. But, what the average citizen does know about Casey is that she was not a very good parent, because what good mother would not know where her child is, and/ or not report her child missing for so many weeks. That is a huge reflection on Caseys character and raises concern, thus it is easy to jump to the conclusion that she did something wrong.
I’ll go back to your first comment… “who cares” let’s not give this girl anymore attention and know that all things will be resolved by our Maker.

The Syndicate is spot on. There is a good reason why the prosecution must prove “beyond a reasonable doubt” that the alleged crime was committed, though some of you would like to bypass that part because of what you “think.”

First, a person doesn’t have to live in the same state to watch the trial because channels like TruTV (formerly known as CourtTV) features high profile trial cases as it did the Casey Anthony trial. This also destroys your 2nd allegation because while you claim that people here only knows what they heard on the news, the fact is people here may know what they have seen on TruTV when they watched the trial. The purpose of a jury is for people to decide for themselves what they truely believe.Whatever leads you to honestly think a defandant is guilty is the reason you should convict. it is nonsensical for a juror to state they believe the defendeant did it but won’t convict because there is not sufficent evidence. She lied about where she worked (in fact she didn’t work at all). She made up an imaginary babysitter who she said had taken the child. She abandoned her car with the noxious smells. There were searches for chloroform on her computer. Does that sound like a mother anxious and distraught with finding her missing child to you? Her mother was proven to have perjured herself on the stand when she tried to say that SHE was the one searching for “chlorophyll” not Casey Anthony, but ended up with chloroform. Both her work time records showed and employers testifed that Anthony’s mother lied about that. The defense concocted a “molestation” story against Anthony’s father based on…absolutely nothing. The defense concoted a drowning – again based on absolutely nothing. Make no mistake..Casey Anthony played a role in her child’s death. So please spare us your “you don’t know” idiocies. We know enough to see that Anthony was part of her child’s death and she tried to hide it from investigators. The jury made a grave mistake in acquitting her. Any rational mind can see Anthony bears some guilt in her child’s death. Heck even the stupid jury found her guilty of lying to the police but couldn’t take the leap in logic to ask why? WHY WOULD SHE LIE TO THE POLICE?

Posted on January 5, 2012 at 5:45pm“Gosh…let’s see THE SYNDICATE…Anthony boozed, pole danced and screwed away for weeks after the child’s disappearance.”
None of which are crimes.
“She lied to investigators. She lied about where she worked (in fact she didn’t work at all).”
She was convicted on both counts.
“She made up an imaginary babysitter who she said had taken the child.”
For those of you who still aren’t aware, “Zanny the Nanny” refers to putting your child to sleep with Xanax so that you don’t have to watch it. If investigators had any sense at all, this would have been an open and shut case of child abuse and negligent homicide.
“There were searches for chloroform on her computer.”
Debunked by defense. There was a single search for chloroform, which coincided in time with a myspace post on her boyfriend’s wall, which had the word “chloroform” in it.
“Make no mistake..Casey Anthony played a role in her child’s death.”
That doesn’t make it first degree murder.
“So please spare us your “you don’t know” idiocies.”
Well, you clearly don’t.
“We know enough to see that Anthony was part of her child’s death and she tried to hide it from investigators.”
Not first degree murder.
“The jury made a grave mistake in acquitting her.”
Nope. They did exactly what they were supposed to. The prosecution did not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Casey committed first degree murder, and she was acquitted.

She was charged with a very specific crime – first degree murder. That means it had to be premeditated and deliberate. There was more than a reasonable doubt that Casey planned to intentionally kill her daughter. The jury cannot convict on a crime she was not charged with, so they were forced to acquit.

Nope… just first degree.
“the chloroform search was not debunked by the defense at all. The mother lied on the stand that SHE was the one making the searches for “chlorophyll” and got chloroform.”
The mother lying has nothing to do with it. How does the mother lying change the fact that Casey searched for it one time, and that it was because she read it on a myspace post?
“It’s a reference to Zenaida Gonzalez, who Casey Anthony told police was the babysitter who kidnapped her daughter.”
She told her friends, when she was partying with them and while her daughter was alive, that she had been leaving her with Zanny the Nanny. She made up a name to go with that after the fact.
“Anthony is found guilty of lying to the police…and you’re ok with that?”
When did I say I was okay with it? Anyway, she served time for that crime.
“…She’s partying, drinking and dancing while this is taking place…. All this is just peachy with you is it?”
I never said it was. You cannot convict someone on a charge that is not equal to the crime. That is injustice. The prosecution failed to prove that Casey maliciously murdered her daughter, and they also failed to include a lesser charge, such as negligent homicide. If you must be angry, be angry with the prosecution, not the defense.

Oh so your “for those who still aren’t aware“ now becomes ”she made up Gonzalez after the fact”. Clown. She stated Gonzalez babysat her daughter..a woman that never had anything to do with babysitting her daughter… of kidnapping her daughter. Is this beyond you?
Once again sport…as the verdict was being read to the court, different degrees of murder and wrongful death were read to the court and Anthony was found innocent on each by a foolish jury. So your stubborn adherence to “nope they only had first degree” is quite laughable. The video footage is out there. I suggest you look at it, as clearly you were napping as the verdict was read to the court.
No…the searches for chloroform were not bebunked, Anthony’s mother tried to take responsiblity for it and was proven a liar in court. There searches (PLURAL) were there. Baez didn’t debunk a d@mn thing. Traces of chloroform were also found in Anthony’s abandoned car.
“Analysis of the computer found SEARCHES for chloroform in the deleted space in the computer’s memory, Sandra Osborne, the expert from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, said .She also testified that SEARCHES were also done on the Anthony family computer for the name Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez.”- Fox News.

It didn’t “become” anything. Did you actually read what I said?
“She stated Gonzalez babysat her daughter..a woman that never had anything to do with babysitting her daughter”
That is because she had never met Casey or any of the Anthonys. Casey made up a name or saw it somewhere, because she needed a name to go with “Zanny,” which is what she had been telling her friends. One of those friends came out and said that it was ‘known’ that Zanny meant Xanax.
“different degrees of murder and wrongful death were read to the court and Anthony was found innocent on each by a foolish jury.”
You said she was charged with “different degrees of murder.” She was not. She was charged with first degree murder, aggravated manslaughter, and aggravated child abuse. The problem with all three of these is that there was no evidence that she intentionally or maliciously killed Caylee.
“There searches (PLURAL) were there.”
Nope, a year after the search (singular) was found by trusted software, an investigator decided to use another, newly developed and untested software, which came up with some ridiculous number.

Please read carefully.
“Witness John Dennis Bradley’s software, developed for computer investigations, was used by the prosecution to indicate that Casey Anthony had conducted extensive computer searches on the word “chloroform” 84 times, suggesting that Anthony had planned to commit murder. On June 21, Bradley discovered that a flaw in the software misread the forensic data and that the word “chloroform” had been searched for only one time and the website in question offered information on the use of chloroform in the 19th century. He immediately alerted prosecutor Linda Burdick and Sgt. Kevin Stenger of the Sheriff’s Office the weekend of June 25 about the discrepancy, and volunteered to fly to Orlando at his own expense to show them. The prosecution stated they discussed the issue with defense attorney Jose Baez on June 27 and he raised the issue in court testimony and in closing.”

Report Post »What you say is true, but I think she did it. Now that she’s gotten off the hook, we should ignore her. She obviously thinks way too much of herself. Who really gives a damn what she’s doing. When her time on Earth is over, God can deal with her. He is the only one other than her who truly knows what happened.

Posted on January 5, 2012 at 1:05pmIt‘s not that she wasn’t proven guilty….She did that herself when she hid a supposed“drowning accident” and then told police that her baby sitter stole her child to delay the police from searching.
Report Post »The fact she wasn‘t found guilty hardly means she wasn’t guilty. O.j. wasn’t found guilty either with blood in his house in his truck, and cuts on his finger that matched the cuts in the bloody gloves found behind his property.
This woman is a narsocistic sociopath and she did kill her child. She damned herself and even went as far as claiming her father and brother molested her to try and twist the events.

Posted on January 5, 2012 at 1:34pmA person is innocent until they commit a crime. When a person commits a crime, they are guilty of that crime. The term “innocent until proven guilty” is for the courts. It means that the government cannot punish a person for a crime until that person has been tried and convicted of that crime.
I have heard enough of the facts to know that Casey Anthony killed her baby, and dumped her baby in a swamp. However, she cannot be punished by our government because she was not convicted of that crime in a court of law. Neither can she be legally punished by a member of society.

Report Post »That’s up to the member of society who decides to punish her. They made be caught and have their day in court or being that there would be so many suspects over half the country they made never be caught.

Posted on January 5, 2012 at 3:36pmRowgue, your logic is broken. The point you are trying to make is valid, as it is the exact same point that MTGOLFLADY had already made. Your mistake was trying to start an argument with someone who agrees with you. In short: Sssshhhh.

Posted on January 5, 2012 at 12:39pmWhether she actually killed her child or not. This bagg needs to be shunned and treated like garbage, not given another “15 minutes” of fame. This country has really gone to the dogs. It’s…I don’t know…just sick.
