Casey Anthony Jurors ‘Sick to Stomach’ Over Verdict

Casey Anthony Jurors Sick to Stomach Over Verdict

Despite drawing indignation from many who are heartbroken over the Casey Anthony verdict, jurors on the trial claim they, too, are “sick to their stomachs” over acquitting Anthony.

Juror number 3 Jennifer Ford told ABC News that she never said Anthony “was innocent“ but that there was just ”not enough evidence” to convict her. “If you cannot prove what the crime was, you cannot determine what the punishment should be” Ford said.

ABC provides the video:

Casey Anthony Jurors Sick to Stomach Over Verdict

In the end, the prosecution failed to prove Anthony’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Russell Huekler, one of five alternate jurors who were present for all the testimony and sequestered along with the 12 other jurors, said today that he would have delivered the same verdict and that he was shocked by the public outrage over the trial’s outcome.

“The prosecution failed to prove their case and there was reasonable doubt. Again, they didn’t show us how Caylee died. They didn’t show us a motive. I’m sorry people feel that way. … These were 17 total jurors. They really listened to this case and kept an open mind,” Huekler said.

I’m not sure about you, but this is one stint of jury duty I’m glad I was passed over for.

Seriously, what is the matter with people? We are a nation of laws, not men. This case and many others point to people letting their emotions over ride the simple princible of Innocent until proven guilty. As much as it saddens everyone that a little girl died, it does not mean her mother killed her.

Any case a prosecuter brings before the court has the burden of proof of the prosecutors side. They nor anyone else for that matter can simply point a finger and accuse someone of something WITHOUT proof to back it up. Without 100% proof of an allegation, it is meaningless.

If someone was to point a finger at you and accuse you of racism, does that mean it is true OR do they have to offer proof of their accusation? You all know the answer. Think people.

These Jurors are sick over the verdict? Bull S***.
These 12 are the Stupidest of the stupidest. The dumbest of the dumbest.
These 12 all lack common sense. They should all be investigated and sent to a mental hospital for evaluation. They are a danger to society. They must be from another country. Did anyone check their Illegal Alien papers? How stupid is that.

Convict the woman you weenies. Geesh. You left this killer walk scott free. Everything that is wrong with this country you just confirmed. How can you go back to your communities and live your lives is beyond me. Oh the intellectual enlightened ones will say “This is what is great about our system. These 12 got it right.” And I say these 12 are idiots who lack common sense. The handwriting was on the wall but you all are so intellectually challenged.

The State relied on emotions, the State had little actual evidence to get from A to C. The State did a horrible job, the Jury was left with little choice but to find not gulity. Anthony, is innocent until proven gulity, she had no duty to prove her innocence, not to the talking heads, not to bloggers, not even to the Jury. The burden of proof fell on the State. THe defense did an great job in destroying the State’s experts on the stands and to shoot enough wholes in the States theory, that there was more than enough room for reasonable doubt.

Justice is not venegnce, justice is that the State confined by the Constitution and the defendant had the protection of due process. This is not the old west, where we give a defendant a fair trial before we hang them. If you support the Constitution, you must support the indenpendance of the Jury to keep the State honest.

In the larger concept you finally got something correct. But the model assumes that the jury is rational, moral and educated and without bias. Although 12 are selected as jurors as opposed to 1 to account for most flaws in any jury the system is not perfect. I also admit the only perfect system is one that has never been used. But this is the macro model of our system.
The micro model is quite different. Personalities of jurors play a role, prior bias, political bias, and other factors affect juries.
I am not saying the macro system failed or should be changed. I am saying this particular jury failed, or at the least I disagree with their decision. I saw the evidenc differently, though I also admit the prosecution was an amateur hour show.
This is how I saw it:
Casey demonstrated mens rea (guilty mind) by the cover up (lies)
Casey is tied to the death of Caylee by the car smell and other evidence from the car
Felony child abuse was proven by the chloroform (found in the car and the Internet search)
Caylee died by the hands of someone (disposal of the body)
Ergo:: Casey chloroformed Caylee to party, Caylee died in the trunk (CO poison, OD, suffocation doesn’t matter). Casey found Caylee dead and proceeded to cover up the death. Casey is guilty of felony murder (Caylee died as a result of the child abuse) and that is = to 1st degree murder.
I have zero reasonable doubts that is what occurred, and who did it.

Jesus said if anyone has hated someone in their heart they are guilty of murder. Who has not done this at one time or another? We are all guilty of transgressing God’s holy laws. Because God is just, sin must be punished and without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. Jesus lived the perfect life and then offered himself up to be put to death on the cross. Because God is love, He took the punishment you and I deserve. Come to Him as Savior and Lord. He rose up from the grave and will forgive your sins, if you ask. Repent and follow Jesus. He who has the Son has eternal life, he who does not have the Son, the wrath of God abides on him.

Dummed down by the LIBERAL LEFTIST EDUCATION SYSTEM which has worked TIRELESSLY for DECADES to indoctrinate Ameicans into such a POLITICALLY CORRECT AND NON-JUDGMENTAL state of mind, as well as CONFUSING ALL THE ISSUES DAY AFTER DAY. I am going to agree and disagree with the Jurors on this

The Prosecutions case really did suck, and because of that the First Degree Murder, was a REALLY LARGE stretch…, the manslaughter was a 50/50 shot…. Personally I think there was enough there for the child abuse charge though, that one should have stuck….

Remember these jurors were sequestered. They only saw what was entered into evidence. No media, no talking heads, no tabloids, only a portion of the evidence offered made it as official evidence before them.

They could not go off of their “gut instinct” or emotions only the facts, the evidentiary facts. The state could not prove the cause, manner, time of death. I’d have felt sick but would have come to the same verdict.

He fully expects that those who follow Jesus show Casey Anthony the same love and care that Jesus showed to all people. You know what? I’m sick of this line. No, it is not better to let the guilty go free. This kind of nonsense is happening all over America, the guilty are walking free because jurors don‘t want someone’s prison sentence “on their conscience”. And guess what – the guilty who are walking free go out and commit MORE crimes. They rob and beat and kill more innocent people because they GOT AWAY WITH IT THE FIRST TIME.

If you agree to serve on a jury you need to **grow a pair**. You are going to have to make a decision. and that decision may not be pleasant but you can’t weasel out of it because the thought of sending someone to prison for years may “harsh your mellow”.

by the way you dont believe it took some big balls to make the choice they did knowing how they would be thought of in the publics eyes. it takes way more to go against the popular veiw and do what they thought was the right verdict then what the public wants.

She might make money off this precious baby girl but she will be taxed to death. That is a law they just put on the books earlier this year i believe. What really shocks me(besides the verdict) is that they had convicted felons(i believe they are felons but i could be wrong) serving on a jury. I know you can’t vote if convicted. Also another strange thing my husband brought up to me is that one juror (a man) had a ticket for a cruise that left yesterday and it was nonrefundable. I am praying and it’s a strange prayer that Casey never gets pregnant again. If she does and something happens to that baby…then it is on the jurors heads since they let her go. I really feel for Caylee. She never got justice here on earth. I had alot of anger and sadness when I heard the verdict but I’ve come to a sort of acceptance because I know that in the end God knows what she did and Caylee will get justice when Casey is judged by our creator and my guess is she will be cast into hell. God has a beautiful little angel in Caylee Marie. I hope that we never forget this little girl!!!! In her memory I pray that this will open our eyes(i know it will because I met alot of you at 8/28) and we can all keep our eyes peeled and speak up if we see abuse. I don’t have any children but I love them dearly and spent alot of my life caring for children by working in daycare. It makes me so angry that someone would throw a precious baby away like trash. Being ill 24/7 I’m unable to have a baby.

I think the prosecutor, did not charge child endagerment because it would have muddied the waters of his evidence/ contention that it was murder, the jury could have concluded that the prosecutor was not sure it was not an accident.

What ever your thoughts our system worked, whether a criminal went free, or an innocent was aquitted, the jury viewed the evidence and the prosecution did not prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt. What, do 1plus 1 equal 2? Are they F-ing kidding me? Lets see duct tape and chloroform was used! The Child was moved by Casey in her car! Her father went to get the Gas cans out of the trunk, and Casey yelled heres you f-ing gas cans! Why, maybe its because her child was in the trunk, it smelled like a dead body, everything points to her and yet the jury finds her not guilty! If you ask me the jurrors should be put in prison for lying and not obeying the Law!…. I have a senaky feeling they didn’t even look at the evidence! They listened to the opening and closing statements and that was it! From what people said, they didn’t look at any evidence before coming to the conclusion! When you put the child wasn’t reported missing by Casey, the child either died from chloroform, or the child died from the duct tape! You choose, either way it was pre meditated! She’s the only one that had her car, she put garbage in the trunk, she told people there was a dead animal in he car! She parked it next to a Garbage Dumpster to cover the smell of the decomposing body, yet they still found her not guilty! She partied for 31 days, then got a tattoo that said beautiful life! So how did the jury think the child died? Did the Caylee climb in a plastic bag, then take two other bags wrap duct tape arround her face, and throw herself in the woods and died that way? The Jury should be put in prison! No ifs and butts about it! They let a Guilty person go Free! A child Killer!

I was on the jury that served for the re-trial of 3 defendents who had served 8 years for the murder of a gas station attendant in 1977. The re-trial was prompted by the later ‘confession’ of a 3-time loser for armed robbery.
Anyway, after 5 weeks, we ended up finding one of the original 3 NG and the other two guilty for the second time. The person who made the confession (7 years later) that he had actually killed the attendant was also found guilty.
Judges are very specific as to what constitutes a particular crime, the burden of proof for the prosecutor/s, and how you must rule depending on the testimony heard. Their cannot be any doubt in the minds of the jurors.
Personally, it is obvious Casey is, shall we say, ‘troubled’, a liar, and most probably guilty of killing that beautiful little girl.
Don’t fault the jurors, though. Would you want to be sentenced to death for a crime you actually didn’t commit when the prosecutor was unable to prove you were at the scene and come up with DNA to prove it? I know, it sucks that this little tramp got off with apparently killing her daughter, but do not blame the jurors.

Let me clarify…..here may not have been any doubt, intuitively, that Casey was guilty. They just could not say ‘guilty’ of murder due to the prosecutor not providing hard evidence that Casey did it.
Don’t misunderstand me here. I would like to kick the s_it out of that b itch. I mean, wasn’t she out partying after Caylee went missing? If my wife or myself lost sight of our daughters, or now our grandkids, for even a second, we are nuts. This loser was not concerned one bit for that little girl.

As American Citizens it is our duty and priviledge to sit on a jury. The reason is to ensure Justice. We are not bound by the same constraints as lawyers and judges, that’s the whole reason for the jury! If we cannot stand up for what is right in the courtroom then we are no better than the politicians we condemn for their inability to stand true to their promises as our representatives.
