Catholics Ask Israeli President to Help End Attacks on Christian Holy Sites

JERUSALEM (The Blaze/AP) — A top Roman Catholic official has taken the rare step of asking Israel’s president to help put an end to attacks on Christian holy sites.
The custodian of holy places in the Holy Land, Pierbattista Pizzaballa, recalled in his letter sent Sunday to President Shimon Peres that vandals spray-painted “Death to Christians” and “We’ll crucify you” on the Baptist Church in Jerusalem and similar hate graffiti on a Greek Orthodox monastery in the city.
Pizzaballa wrote that “red lines that must not be crossed have been crossed” and asked Peres’ help to eradicate “this dangerous phenomenon.”
The anti-Christian graffiti is suspected to be the work of Jewish extremists who have attacked various targets, including Christian and Muslim holy sites as well as Israeli military equipment, to protest what they believe to be anti-settler positions by the government.

Peres’ office said the president took the appeal “very seriously” and was working on the matter personally. It said top advisers have already been in touch with Pizzaballa, and were working with Jerusalem City Hall and national ministries to prevent further violence against Christian sites.

After the break up of the Soviet Union, the Azeris tried to take it back. They couldn’t. Now they are arming to slaughter Armenians. The actively commit cultural Genocide too. Why is Israel arming Muslims?
I do know Irael get gas and oil from the Azeris, but they could get it elsewhere.

Arabs do not respond like Westerners do. If you show weakness – it is like you are giving them permission to kick your ass..
They are MEN and they respond like they think OTHER MEN would respond. Male animals square off once in a while to earn the right for food or territory.
We have leaders who squat to pee – and the Arabs are treating us JUST like we tell them to by our behavior.
Being Christian does not mean you are the doormat for anyone. Just the opposite. You crawl before no man. So when we bow — or kiss the ring — or sniff their butt —– or roll over — or keep our chin on the ground — they have every right in their eyes to act the way they do.
Where are the Eisenhower’s – Where are the Regan’s – Where are the leaders of the country that will take the reigns away from these destructive progressives??
That’s what I want to know.

You DO realize, of course, if there is any concern for snakes in the grass they NEVER, EVER squat – but simply pee in their pants and air dry. And, since these wombats, being snakes themselves, ALWAYS are surrounded by snakes in the grass, one generally sees wet pants legs and little squatting.

I can say there many, many Jews who are upset with people either converting the Jews to different religions or Jews becoming secular. Throughout the years I have got ask various knowledgeable Jews about Judaism and the current identity of Jews in today’s world. Many Jews still follow traditional Judaism and await the coming of the Messianic age. Yes, I’m skeptical about religion but I feel we can do something to help others understand our beliefs, cultures and traditions. respect goes along way.
