Circuses are a happy tradition for families in Eastern Europe. But an otherwise joyful event turned horrifying when one of the show’s most ferocious performers attacked its trainer during a show in Lviv, Ukraine. An American father in the audience with his family caught the incident on tape:

Posted on October 6, 2010 at 1:16amWhy do these news people sound like idiots . Maybe lions are wild beasts not house cats and would kill anything if given a chance . I am sorry but there are to many stupid people today that do not respect or understand wild animals today and get killed buy them .Maybe that,s why they are called wild because they come from the wild and kill to eat,They seam to be idiots about everything is that why this is on this site .

Posted on October 5, 2010 at 4:22pmI think the Lions acted stupidly. Hey let’s have the Lions up for a beer summit and listen to Biden tell some more racists jokes !!!

Posted on October 5, 2010 at 10:30amClearly the Lion is oppressed by the vast right wing conspiracy and he took it out on his “boss” the highly over compensated, profiteering, lion tamer.
Right?
Or was the lion a victim of Global warming?
joke mode off: leave the lions in the Savanna or in big Zoo-parks were they can roam around.
As for bull fights? Put the “matador” in there with the same weapons as the bull… just what god gave them.

Posted on October 5, 2010 at 6:36amI have never been a fan of the circus since becoming aware of the abuse, that the animals endure, while being forced to perform. I say, take a trip to Africa to experience the natural performance of any of these valiant creatures! : ))

Report Post »Seriously though, I love big cats. I would give anything to be that close to them. But I also know my cat will shred my arm with claw cuts if I “play” more than he likes. Big kitties like these are best viewed thru telephoto lenses. Leave them be and watch from a distance.

Posted on October 4, 2010 at 8:55pmTrainers fault, you don’t jab lions with a rod unless you want to be circumsized. He should be fined for animal cruelty. Good trainers love their pets. Anyone see the youtube video where that guy and his son reunites with a pet lion years after they let it go back into the african wilds? It ran up and hugged him around the neck… looked scary but it wasn’t attacking him.

Posted on October 4, 2010 at 6:19pmhmm, I feel no sympathy for this trainer, the circus is evil……on that note here are some lion jokes
Q.) Who helps older Lions cross the street?
A.) Cub Scouts!
Q.) Where do Lions live?
A.) On “MANE” Street!
Q.) Why did the lion trainer buy new clothes for his job?
A.) Because he takes “pride” in his appearance!
Q.) Why did the lion loose at poker?
A.) Because he was playing with a cheetah!
thank you very much….I’ll be here til Sunday……

Posted on October 4, 2010 at 6:12pm::sigh:: Lions and male all cats really will eventually look to test the dominance of an owner or trainer. both of the listed incidences as far as I can see aren’t giving enough information to see if the Trainers could have known. The thing is if a cat acts strange be wary.
I‘m really hoping this doesn’t end up taken to some conspiracy of people giving psychotropics to cats or similar aluminum hat talk of activists feeding cats cadaver flesh to give them a taste for the trainer to sabotage the circus. I‘d erase the line but I get too many instances of hearing that kind of nonsense so I figure might as well vent when there’s an opportunity. No offense anyone else.

Posted on October 4, 2010 at 6:07pmMaybe the lion is a conservative and dislikes the socialist whipping it. Can’t say I blame the lion. Just doing what nature intended the wonderful beast to do. Eat that man with a smile on his face.

Posted on October 4, 2010 at 6:04pmThe lions need to be in their natural habitat. People are prey to the lions.

Posted on October 4, 2010 at 5:50pmYes leave the lions on the plains and the tigers in the jungle and the bears in the forest. Even the most loving human can give them the true feeling of being free.

Posted on October 4, 2010 at 6:19pmNo thanks “hun.” Prescription medications are an evil plot by the Rothschild family and a government sanctioned eugenics plot. Never touch the stuff but YOU may wish to try them. You seem a bit paranoid constantly spewing about how everything is somehow connected to a vast conspiracy spanning generations and nations.

Posted on October 4, 2010 at 7:31pmIf you would possible have lived some history or at least take a look Frelancer, Nelson Aldrich was the maternal grandfather of Nelson Rockerfeller via marriage of his daughter Abby Green Aldrich to John Rockerfeller.. Nelson Aldrich was who again? He is the man that designed with Warburg and 5 others the plan in 1910 ,the design of the Federal Reserve Bank Act that was passed by President Wilson 1913. Sorry to say you were sold off by these minions to the Rothschilds wayyy back then. Wild Animals do attack!

If that’s not your intent…do something different. Not liking the eeliness. Otherwise, poke a stick at a lion and I believe you’ll get what you earned. Posted on October 4, 2010 at 7:27pmHint: if you don’t like the lion-tamer in the circus where you are employed, sprinkle a little coyote urine on his suit before his act. Works like a charm every time.
