    I live in the NY 26th District…….. This clown could not get in the race for the special election so he gathered the requisite signatures to be able to enter – He merely selected the ‘Tea Party ’ name to run on, he has in no way been endorsed by any conservative group in the area and the local news has reported on this fact, although not widely.

      With the recent news of HSBC phasing out their Buffalo operations and as a corporate policy, away from personal banking/credit cards and more towards corprate banking, if i were Corwin, I would be running non-stop round-the-clock ads that are anti-Dodd-Frank, anti-NYS high tax on businesses

    I have some relatives that think the tea party people are the most violent people ever. Needless to say that they (my relatives) don’t have a clue. I try to stay away from them as much as possible. It is sickening to see clueless people spouting untruths about our Country. We need to take back our Country in 2012 and stand proudly for what is right. :)

    Investigate the candidate before you endorse them. FOIA the truth out of them. Look at Trump…trying to run as a conservative and yet he has given vast sums to democrats including Harry Reid, and Chuck Schumer. He has never voted in a Republican primary and he may have never voted at all. He talks a good game, but just like Obama, he will say anything to get elected and govern entirely differently.

      Your are correct, they can’t win a fair race. They won’t run a fair race in 2012 either and because of that they will win large. Obama will be re-elected in 2012 for three reasons. The government controlled propaganda media will eviscerate any Republican or Tea-Party candidate that appears to be a contender Two, because most Americans fear over-the-top religous zealots more than they fear Socialist/Marxist/Progressives and they will capitalize upon that, and three, the whole uber-Conservative movement in the United States is not nearly as large as people on this website have convinced themselves it is. The Conservative message is really getting kind of hollow even to believers in smaller government. I noticed that the Tea-Party candidates that were elected to Congress in 2010 have pretty much resigned themselves to “business as usual” in D.C. I don’t see them raising a ruckus, pounding on doors, making demands…….and they never will! They were just clever politicians that used the Tea-Party to get elected. Ya’ll got “suckered”!

      In my years as a network cameraman, any jerk like that usually was cuffed by the cops……BUUUUUTTTT….When it was just me and him (no witnesses), there is a little technique called a lens-butt…..Simply put, after the guy assaults you……get right in his grill (making sure the camera is not rolling. You don‘t want any taped evidence here unless of course you’ve got a really cool blooper reel) and start jawing with him in his face, then quickly head-butt him with the lens….He never sees it coming…..Make sure you don’t leave the Fujinon serial number on his forehead though!……I’ve disarmed a few jack-asses that way.

    This is in my district and from what I see the incident happened inn the town where I live. I haven’t found anything of substance on it in the local media which makes me wonder if the “altercation” is a result of creative editing. What happened before the start of the posted video clip?

      @Eyore – I like to get all the facts and I am suspicious of tiny sound or video clips that show a desired scene. I don’t care who it supports so long as I get a decent picture of reality. When I don’t get enough info I remain skeptical of the event. It seems to me to be a reasonable approach to evaluating the many sources of information we have streaming at us all day.

      But, do you think the Buffalo News would run that after the hit-job they did on Paladino? If it was Corwin, it’d be absolutley plastered. not the potential spoiler or Democrat.

      I don‘t think he’ll get 20% of the vote. Looks like i’m holding my nose and voting Corwin – not a really big fan, but most conservative of the 3. And I don‘t think she’ll end up on Craigslist

      I spent 27 years as a cameraman/journalist with one of the major networks…You’ve seen my work…….Creative editing my a$$….I doesn’t matter what happened before this 15 second clip was shot, he made a threat on tape and carried it out. As for the clip being out of context, I’ve known a few unscrupulous cameramen that would “bait” a clown like this candidate into taking a swing at them. So, we may never know actually what happened in the moments before this incident was taped……As for the “journalist”, with the advent of fairly decent, affordable cameras and the internet; everybody can be a “journalist” without any real credentials or experience.

      I am from Buffalo, NY and moved away to get away from the taxes and corrupt politicans.
      This is a democratic town and the paper is left.
      This area has one of the most inexpense natural wonders of Niagara Falls to create inexpense electricity and the corrupt politicians sent the electricity to New York City which incresed the cost of electricity to Buffalo.
      Where I am now my gas & electric bill is less than my electric bill was in Buffalo.

      I was curious about this guy when I was up in western Ny visiting my grandparents. He had some interesting ideas, but he is a bit of trade protectionist.       I would think a seasoned politician (they did say he’s been around for some time) and his handlers would be smarter than to engage the reporter in an altercation. And the reporter’s cries of “pain” sound really forced.

      I agree that somethings about that video is ‘off’ as you put it. First of all, they said he was completely ‘anti-free market‘ and that he is now a ’tea party’ candidate. Also the camera man did seem to be fake in his cries of pain. No way this man is a Tea Party candidate because as far as I can tell from the Tea Party Rallies I have attended an anti-free market candidate would never get any support from the Tea Party. Seems like a ploy by the Liberal Left gov’t run media to make the Tea Party look bad and try to win back some of the sheeple who used to follow them unquestioningly.

      I need to make a correction to my previous statement. I could have sworn they said anti-free market but he said anti-free trade which I agree with…his response of “would you like to get punched out?” was not a good decision and his assault of the man was also stupid. If the cameraman/journalist was a plant from the GOP candidate to make this happen, well either way shame on the candidate for being stupid enough to fall into the trap. Hopefuly the Tea Party people in his district openly denounce this man as their guy, if they have openly backed him at all. We do not need the zombies who hang on every word of the gov’t run media “journalists” to think this is what we represent. There are enough good, strong Conservatives in this country to replace the fools in the GOP and the Democrat parties who have ruined this Great Country. Now if that means kicking all the RINOS/Progressives out of the GOP and restore what it once stood for then lets do it.
