Caught on Video: UK Cops Taser Shirtless Man After Two-Day Seige

Police were called to the home in Badger Road, New Costessey in Norwich, at 9am on Friday after reports of a man seen with a gun.
Specialist firearms and dog units cordoned off an area around the property and police negotiators attended the scene.
The incident ended at 5pm on Saturday when all three occupants of the house were arrested.
Following lengthy negotiations, a man dressed in combat trousers and a dark-haired woman, both aged in their 40s, were arrested on suspicion of wasting police time.
The third man, dressed only in blue football shorts and also in his 40s, who is believed to have instigated the incident, walked out of the house and was Tasered before being arrested for suspected firearms offences.

Posted on May 9, 2011 at 7:50pmWhy is it that just about every time I go to view an advertized video of a news item it is always “removed by the user” or “is no longer available”, blah, blah,blah? We are given the tease that a man is maybe tazed unnecessarily and then we have to speculate on what happened. C’mon guys.
To the important stuff now. The UK is a nation that thinks that guns have some kind of an innate mind installed at the factory that makes weapons dangerous by their very presence. It doesn’t matter if there is a responsible person with firearms training or is familiar with the proper use of a firearm. When they get a call that a gun is somewhere they panic, like the characters in a Godzilla movie, assured that “Gunzilla” is going to kick down the city on his own!

They taze a guy,for practice I guess, and then make the arrest of the century for “wasting Police time!!!!” Bunch of crime busters they are. Next thing you know they will be shutting down donut shops for “wasting Police time” or maybe outlawing frivolous traffic stops because they, “waste Police time.” If I were a Brit I wouldn’t be holding my breath. The problem with this law is that the Police decide if their time is wasted, not common sense.
So on with chasing Gunzilla and eating donuts, but watch out, don’t you dare waste Police time!

Is it against the law to have a gun in England? Did they do anything illegal with the gun? Half my friends in the uk hold either a Shotgun Certificate (SGC) or a Firearm Certificate (FAC). It only becomes a legal issue if they find you in possession of a firearm and you have served more than 6mths in the nick!!
