CBS Airs Fake George W. Bush Cover Mocking ‘Decision Points’

When CBS News aired a special on book covers this past Sunday, not many took notice. That is until George W. Bush’s new book “Decision Points” popped up on the screen. That’s because the cover the network showed was not only the wrong one, but it was also mocking the former president.
The cover is supposed to look like this:
Simple. Harmless. But that’s not what aired. Here’s the cover that flashed across the screen:
Yes, you’re reading that right. CBS aired a Bush book cover that says, “Desision Points: How I Managed to Go Eight Years without Making One Good Decision.” CBS has since backpedaled, saying it was an unintentional mistake:
“Good catch: it’s a mistake no one could see because you’d have to freeze the frame to notice it. Another cautionary tale about the risks of the internet age – clearly, we have to be more careful when downloading material.”
According to Newsday, a production assistant made the mistake because of deadline pressure and pulled the image off the internet. The picture seems to have originated on the satirical website “Drudge Retort,” although some outlets have confused it as originating from the the actual website Drudge Report.
CBS has since removed the video showing the gaffe.

Walter Cronkite would be ashamed of CBS, he would quit before he worked for this imposter of a network. And there are people who trust anything CBS reports? Posted on December 22, 2010 at 8:13amI agree, I am reading through it myself and find that he is a very deep and intellectual individual whom I am proud was our President.
Libs joke him, people hate him, but after reading a few chapters it is clear to me why…..he represents the kind of values and morals that this country was founded on. He is a sinner who realized he needed a real relationship with God. What a hard pill to swallow for many.
I try not to take every word as truth, but I find it hard not to, as I find it illogical for him to print lies when some many people have and will read it. He even goes so far in the beginning to say if there is something off, it is his fault.
Do I think he was the greatest President ever? I don’t know, I am still studying history. All I do know is that he gave me $1200 (of my money) for a new flat screen, Obama gave me $200 (of my money). He provided security for our country, Obama is dismantling it. He removed a demon from power in Iraq, Obama seems to be giving power to demons. He worked with Demoncrats to get things done, Obama only listens to Demoncrats.
The book is a great read and very insightful. Once I am done, I am going to read Clinton’s, the H.W.’s, then Reagen’s, then continue to work my way back through the Presidents. I prefer to hear it in their words and not distorted by the media. You get a real sense of a person when they explain their perspective.

This man was no dummy like the libs and press tried to make him into. He did keep us safe while Obama is giving away our rights, like today with Russia. OMG, I can’t believe our congress went along with this to make us more unsafe.

At their level of operation, the stature of the NBC Corporation being a media powerhouse, it excludes them from being able to call this a gaff.
If they ran their operation out of their parent’s basement, maybe we could call this a gaff . . . But then, the intent would still be there, just as it is very much here coming from their operation on 52nd Street in New York. They want you to think it’s a gaff; but that’s too much like confession on Sunday mornings, asking for redemption so that you can sin again all week long. Their behavior is only self serving.
Let’s just face it . . . the country is so very much divided right now only because of liberalism making a relentless surge. The Pelosi-Obama-Reid era of liberalism is simply a liberal political version of GW’s “shock and awe” turned against American society and culture via political power as opposed to Bush’s use of military dominance.
This is a stupid-simple issue; but there’s value in broadcasting the message: The sooner we all come to know the reality of what is happening, that there are no liberal “gaffs,” the sooner we’ll be in a position to repel what is attacking us from within. Know that the only “gaff” that liberals would acknowledge as happening here is that they got caught.

This is just one malicious mind manipulation that got caught. We’ve read and heard for decades that consumers are generally subject to subliminal messaging through music and other audio input while shopping. Why are we not outraged? The only time I turn on CBS channel is to watch our local news program, but I’ll use another station after this gaff. I can’t say that I hate you CBS, but I do HATE what you’re doing.
Report Post »I’m about 1/2 way through Bush‘s book and can say it is one of the best books I’ve read in a long time, and I almost couldn’t pick it up to read because I was sure it would be boring—–not true, it’s great reading and tells almost exactly what happened in his presidency. I recommend it to explain what he went through with a stupid liberal press like CBS and the others. I am almost exclusively a FOX NEWS watcher since I cannot believe anything from CBS, NBC, ABC and esp. MSNBC.& PBS
