Cee Lo Green Sings ‘F**k You’ During Obama Campaign Fundraiser

R&B singer Cee Lo Green graced a campaign fundraiser for President Barack Obama on Friday with some of his musical stylings — of the explicit variety.
According to ABC News, the Grammy winner started his set at the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Ga. with the uncensored version of his hit song, “F–k You.”
In a video of the performance, Green first flipped off the campaign donor audience before asking, “Can I cuss?” He then launched into the lyrics, with a particularly emphatic delivery of the song’s title.
ABC reported Green ultimately switched to singing the censored version of the song, “Forget You.”

According to Politico, White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters before the fundraiser he wouldn’t comment about “specific songs.“ Carney did say Obama is ”a fan” of Green’s music.
Green drew controversy earlier this year after he performed John Lennon’s “Imagine” during from New York City‘s Times Square on New Year’s Eve and swapped the line “no religion too” for “all religions true.”

We are in desperate need of politicians, entertainers, athletes and ministers that are grown ups. The other day at work I was chatting with some “Christian” co-workers and asking them what sitcoms are popular on TV now (we mostly watch the DIY shows in our house and don’t watch any mainstream TV) the “Christians” replied that Betty White has a new sitcom that is hilarious because she always calls the other women b*tches and sl*ts and wh*res. All of the “Christians” laughed and agreed that her show is hilarious. I was totally shocked that “Christians” would even watch a show like that let alone think that calling a woman a b*tch, sl*t or wh*re is good “Christian” entertainment and something that “Christians” should be watching and encouraging others to watch. The conventional “Christian” wisdom these days is most things (except homosexuality) are acceptable as long as you “BELIEVE”. Lord have mercy on us……

That show glorifies NOT being married, and I cannot imagine any Christians wanting to watch it. The show that came on after it, with Fran Drescher, is even worse, it glorifies being divorced AND gay. I quit watching TVLAND, because of those two shows. I cannot STAND Betty White.
