Raw Video: ‘Chaos’ at Mall of America as Hundreds of Young People Create Mass Ruckus

A noisy, racing crowd of more than 200 young people created a chaotic scene at the packed Mall of America Monday evening, sending frightened shoppers scrambling for safety and causing some stores to close early, eyewitnesses and officials said.
It took more than an hour to quell the disturbance, which began about 4:20 p.m. as a single fight involving a large group in a food court and quickly spread through the nation’s largest mall, said mall spokeswoman Bridget Jewell. Bloomington police and mall security arrested at least 10 juveniles and young adults on suspicion of disorderly conduct, police said Monday.

Witnesses said the fights started after there were reports that rappers Lil’ Wayne and Drake were visiting the Mall. Police, however, did not comment on these rumors.
“There were drinks thrown on the floor and chairs being thrown everywhere,” said Tess Dessalgne who witnessed the brawl. “Everyone started running towards the fight.”
There are no reports of anyone seriously hurt, but Bloomington Police along with Mall of America security arrested nine individuals for disorderly conduct. Some of those arrested were juveniles.
“At one point we had over 30 officers involved,” said Commander Stehlik. “What we tried to do was push people out of the mall in an effort to get this disturbance under control.”

They can do what ever they wish and no one tells them they’ve done wrong, either verbally or by them cutting their own switch from the tree. It empowers the reckless and idiotic. Parents are wholly to blame as a generation we no longer desire to discipline, but rather instead give time-outs. I watch my own wife give my 4 year old daughter a time-out and she grins like a jack-o-lantern as if she can’t believe this is her entire punishment for squashing her younger brother.
The fear, yes fear, of the belt or switch or spatula on the butt for doing something wrong is gone in children and young adults. These young adults never feared the use of corporal punishment in school to stop the unruly. I can still remember the day I was sent to the Dean in elementary school and got paddled by lifting me by my belt loop. Never again did I create a disturbance in class.

I hope the malls were understanding…having managed mall stores before, I know they can fine stores more than $1000.00 an hour that they close early. We used to get informed 15 minutes before closing (by mall security) that the malls “anchors” were going to stay open another 2 hours…and if you did not as well…you’d get fined big time.

Minorities know they can get away with it (YES trolls – there IS a racial component, look at the videos). They know that the courts are being frowned upon, states will lose federal funding and criminals are actually being forgiven in courts.
Do not buy it?
Take a few hours to go to your local criminal court and watch. THEN do some homework on the judges as well as the people who are working in the courtroom. At least 20-25% WILL be linked to a community organization or the whitehouse itself. A buddy who is disabled does it all the time.
Personally, I do not think it is a “set the homie free” thing more than it is a get the population riled up, angry and scared. Read history. It is amazing how every dictatorship starts this way.

There is a Black man on Fox’s Business who chose to take on the World, on his own terms. He was born very poor, but is now wealthy and successful. His name is Charles Payne. He doesn‘t believe that it’s an injustice to be born Black. He’s very proud of his African American heritage, and believes that his heritage is as good as anyone else’s.
The Blacks in the videos must feel that it’s “unfair” to be born Black, and don’t want to work as hard as Charles Payne did to become a success.

Report Post »We were made to feel guilt for being a “mother” and not a “career”. I was a stay at home mother until I got divorced after my husband had an affair that tore up our home and family. So glad I got to stay home and teach my children. I see how responsible they are because I did. Happy New Year!!!

I don’t see white people, Asian people, Hispanic people behaving this way. This is a legitimate question. There are cameras everywhere in our society today, it can’t be that they only catch black folks doing these things. I hear of a story like this and try to find a video, just to see if it some other race of people doing this, but no, every time I see one it is only one race, can anyone with some intelligence tell me why this phenomenon occurs within one race only? And while I am at it, where are their parents, where are their community leaders, where is Rev Jackson and Al Sharpton and Eric “My People” Holder, to speak out to these youth?

I am specifically addressing the “mob mentality” that involves one race. I am trying to figure out honestly if it due to the economy, lack of education, too much time on their hands, bad parenting… because what ever the reason is, it needs to be fixed. If not fixed, these kids don’t stand a chance when they reach adulthood, and they think the only way to survivie in our society is to beat, steal and rob from people. Black leaders claim foul because a disproportionate number of blacks are in prison…this is why. Parents, schools and the black leadership does not step in and decry these acts. When they get caught, it’s always the “white man’s” fault. What happen to personal responsibility? Everyone is afraid to broach the subject for fear of being called a “racist”. It is not racist if it is true. When will they stand up and tell their own people, enough is enough!?

Lots of shoppers.
Towards the end of the afternoon,
we arrived at the north area of the mall on the third floor.
We witnessed a lot of young, black, mostly male youth just hangin out.
They weren’t shopping; just hangin, stylin..
We smelled trouble.
Shortly after this encounter,
we went down to Starbucks on the second floor.
About 15 minutes later, there was a big commotion,
and we saw groups of black youth running toward the north end of the mall.
We finished our coffee and decided to leave.
Our exit was through Nordstrom’s.
Upon approaching that store,
we heard lots more commotion and saw lots of running and chasing.
I asked a young man(black) about what was going on.
He said “I have no idea.”
A little later, I asked another young man(black) the same question.
He said, “Lil Wayne and Drake are here.”
I didn’t see any groups of fans admiring their heroes
What we did see was many groups of 3 or 4 running from stores.
I saw a man run down a robber to retrieve his shopping bag.
It was mob action.
It was pure mayhem.
It was digraceful.
I asked the lady closing the gate at Champs Sports about it.
She said that she had never seen it this bad.
We are never going to see it this bad either, ever again,
because we are not going back to the MOA – at least not while school is out.
