Posted on January 3, 2012 at 9:28pmAnyone who isn’t for Ron Paul is a dimwit with no understanding of the Constitution, human nature, good vs evil, what is wrong with the country, or what got us in such a hole. For those dunces who disagree with Paul’s foreign policy, go ahead and continue to spend trillions placing our best young men overseas getting ambushed by rock-throwers while we let in all of the hundreds of thousands of terrorists and teach them chemical bomb-making and how to fly but not land planes.

I see so if we disagree with you then we are “dim wits”?! oh ya that sounds like freedom of speech HA you claim to support the constitution and then degrade anyone who disagrees with you, Well pal this guy voltaire (big influence on the founders) said “I disapprove of what you say but will defend to the death your right to say it” now does that sound like your previous comment (”Anyone who isn’t for Ron Paul is a dimwit”) is upheld by one of our founders’ favorite philosophers?

Posted on January 3, 2012 at 9:55pmCorrection: *The person who votes for Ron Paul is a dinwit. 1st:” because he is old! Really OLD! He will die in office if he gets elected.
2nd: He says and I quote. “Iran is not a threat” he also said “it’s are fault for 911″. Which is completely WRONG!
3rd: If he wins the caucuses he will NOT win! If you would put him on the same stage with Obama; who is one of the greatest speakers of all time, he will get creamed!
We NEED someone who can beat Obama. Not a someone who does not change with the times.

Posted on January 4, 2012 at 12:31amWrong…the key point is to elect the BEST person! You are going to see a lot of independents and libertarians sit out this election If another neo-con wins the republican primary.
Report Post »samuelwcordrey
Posted on January 4, 2012 at 2:16amIRONBALUT You say that the point is to elect the BEST person and then tell me that a lot of libertarians will sit out if a softy by your standards is nominated. So i guess you think Obama is better than a softy. so if your guy gets it afterward what will be left? Margett couldn’t fix England because of healthcare, and your guy will fail too if we can’t eliminate it this election. Don’t cut off your nose to spite your face. Sour grapes is a lousy way to run this election.

Posted on January 3, 2012 at 9:26pmAll I know is this country is bankrupt adding a trillion dollars to the debt every 6 months. I could critize Ron Paul easily , but who else is running that is willing to do the hard stuff to actually save the country. Do you think congress and the bankers will let go of their power ? As long as we have income tax congress will always be able to buy their way out of any trouble they have caused. this will go on until there is nothing left and who is going tobe around to pick up the pieces ?
Report Post »chances are it will be the marxist labor unions and you know where this will lead. I do not see any other choice but to vote for Ron Paul, no one else except maybe Perry will do much with the debt.

Posted on January 3, 2012 at 10:23pmHere is a clue. Paul as a member of Congress never got anyone to support any of his hare brained schemes. What is his record? 1 for 600 bills presented? You think if he was president that anyone in Congress would all of a sudden approve of his positions? You are not thinking clearly! The President does not legislate.

Posted on January 3, 2012 at 11:40pmAh ha, but the President can sign into law or veto based on Constitutionality. It would mark a return to the separation of powers, and I don’t think Dr. Paul would rule by executive order or a series of departments and their czars.

I am so afraid for this country , I see unless drastic measures are taken we will go down the same road as the roman republic. if that is what you want keep voting for the same old stuff like clinton both bushes or obama. Paulies, need to reconsider – I heard an interview that Paul said that with Legalized Pot comes mandatory employee drug testing – the National Legal Organizations pleage that all auto accidents will require mandatory drug and alcohol testing for all Auto Accidents. In 10 years, most Paulies will be in jail and to think they voted for their own demise – that makes them bigger useful idiots than Obama supporters that wanted free heath care.

Posted on January 3, 2012 at 9:11pmAccording to Glenn Beck: Ron Paul co-chaired a defense plan committee with Barney Frank in 2010 which consisted of 14 people and 11 of them were directly George Soros people. Are you sure this is the guy you want to bring us back to our Constitutional Republic?
Report Post »KTsayz
Posted on January 3, 2012 at 10:33pmFearnone – that story was bull***t and Glenn knows it,
The Sustainable Defense Task Force was formed in response to a request from Barney Frank, working conjunction with Rep Jone (R-NC), Paul (R-TX) and Sen Wydan (D-OR) to explore possible defense contributions to deficit reduction efforts that would not compromise the essential security of the US.
The Task Force members served as individuals.
The Huff Po piece didn’t even mention Ron Paul. Greenfield wrote a hit piece that Horridwitz ran with all sorts of viscious innuendos to attack the good Doctor.
Suck on that for awhile.

Posted on January 3, 2012 at 8:40pmI heard Glenn’s chat with Michelle Bachman, and I was waiting for Glenn to ask about her Iowa campaign manager or assistant manager. Michelle told the press he left for more income, and we find later that what Michelle told the press wasn’t the real story. So Glenn I will ask you, if you can accept without question her answer regarding her managers, then you are definitely better than I at believing her story without further discussion. My problem is if Michelle can make a such a statement running as a candidate then can we really trust her if she were to become President. Glenn it is really up to you if you want to get her clarification on the story on not, because it is your show. I realize you don’t have all of the day to ask everyone’s questions, but the loss of state campaign manager and then the assistant manager who was just promoted to be her replacement campaign manager isn’t a small item. Now both of them have left her campaign.

Posted on January 3, 2012 at 10:50pm@Piper: That’s largely because of media coverage and our soundbite mentality. Dr. Paul’s economic and foreign policy are quite a bit to in depth for a 10 second snippet. That’s why the media (the blaze included) run with headlines and entire stories about “truther” allegations without researching the facts. It’s quick and easy to say, “Paul says U.S. To blame for 9.11.” It’s quick, it catches attention, bit it’s a half truth. Further reading shows that Dr. Paul was referring to reports from the C.I.A. regarding the reasons for the attacks.
Here’s the most horrible thing about such halfassed “journalism” in modern society, when you are bombarded with information that initial perception is all that registers for many. You’ll note lengthy and passionate explanations by Paul supporters that follow these types of attacks not as a defense but as clarification. This, I believe, is a purposeful attempt to draw atention away from the truly important issues we should all be discussing like the debt and foreign policy.
The fourth estate has gotten lazy in this technological age and it is left to each of us, individually, to verify accusations leveled.
