This Manhattan penthouse has just been put on the market for $100 million. If sold for that amount, it would be New York City’s most expensive apartment in, well, ever.
“The 8,000-square-foot octagon apartment at CitySpire is being sold by six agents, including Robert De Niro’s son, Rafael,” New Tang Dynasty (NTD) Television reports. “The 73rd-floor-entry apartment has a wraparound terrace and 135 windows, offering an unprecedented 360-degree residential view of the city.”
“Along with six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, the penthouse also includes a 1000-bottle wine room, conference room, gallery, and an elevator for the apartment’s three floors,” the report adds.
The apartment, designed by Juan Pablo Molyneaux, was originally sold in 1993 for $4.5 million. It has since seen a bit of renovating from Long Island real estate mogul Steven Klar, which, we assume, has helped drive the price up just a wee bit.

Posted on August 2, 2012 at 9:17pmCompletely hideous. Dated (1980′s) cheap looking furniture. Bought and paid for taste. WAY over priced. Marketing stunt. Just because you have money doesn’t guarantee taste or style.

Posted on August 2, 2012 at 5:29pmThat is so far from reality for most people, it is truly a cartoon. Haven’t we all day dreamt about what we would do if we won the $300mil lotto? Sure. And what would you do with your newfound wealth? I doubt the majority would live in sickening extravagance, eating off gold plates with gold forks, drinking out of baccarat crystal glasses. The mind of some with wealth is simply embarrassing. The stink that comes out our orifices is pretty much the same whether we have 1 dollar or 1 billion dollars to our name.

Posted on August 2, 2012 at 5:12pmCan’t you get a nice 8,000 sq ft house in south for a couple of mil is not even less now? Ron Paul has a 5,000 sq ft house worth less than 300,000 i seem to recall.

Posted on August 2, 2012 at 4:51pmFurnishings are quite nice (a little over the top if you ask me..)
But I could never live there (even if it was free) since I am as afraid of heights as an 6 year-old girl is of spiders….

Posted on August 2, 2012 at 3:31pmWell… NYC is the best city in the world.
If you’re in the wealthy class, you want to live here, because the city caters to the wealthy better than any other. The extra money you spent is for the location and amount and variety of culture.

Why would it take 6 agents to sell this apt?
Who would want to go all the way up on an elevator to be HOME? It would take a while to get up there after a hard day at work. LOL
It is nice, but.. 100 million?
Report Post »Not.
Maybe The Clinton‘s and Obama’s could make it a double..
It would have to have seperate entrances for Monica and Reggie Love. LOL
There is no possible way I could live there. It is very beautiful, but.. it just wouldn’t be home..

Posted on August 2, 2012 at 2:52pmOkay ows freaks tell us no one should have that much money to live in an apartment like that,or how much is too much money? that‘s another gem that’s used frequently by the simpletons. If you don’t want to be successful in life fine, stop using government as a weapon against the normal people who want to be successful. When I ask a typical progressive nut job how much of my income should I be allowed to keep the usual response is no response, sometimes one will say 100% tax, those individuals I can assure you pay no income tax and were taught in the finest progressive public schools this government ever inflicted on us.
