ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Game 4 of the World Series had a presidential doubleheader.
The father-and-son team of George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush threw out the ceremonial first pitch Sunday night in what Major League Baseball said was the first time two former presidents attended a World Series game.
George W. Bush, the 43rd president, threw the pitch with his dad, the 41st president, at his side. The elder Bush held a cane in his left hand and walked haltingly.
(via HAPBlog & GatewayPundit)
The younger Bush is a familiar face at Rangers Ballpark, where he became controlling owner in April 1989 and relinquished the baseball position when he took over as Texas governor in 1995. His group owned the team until selling to Tom Hicks in 1998.

Posted on November 2, 2010 at 1:07am@FIERYRED; I will share a few bit’s & pieces of the mystery, regarding chaos happening in this country….from a web-site called The Revelation….under a title of Day of the Dove & Who Do You Serve & Protect?
There are many of us that care, but we are viewed as non-patriots because those doing the deceiving, know exactly what they are doing; and do not want the rest to know!
One very important thing to remember is that: KNOWLEDGE IS FREEDOM….and when reading this info., please keep in mind that United we Stand, Divided we Fall! What these presidents have done, and by design, is to keep our country divided……and Joseph Stalin did say; “It doesn’t matter who they vote for; because WE always WIN!!
Sept 11th, 2001 – WTC
On September 7th, 2001, Jeb Bush signed an executive order No. 01-261 allowing him to declare martial law.
W199I – restricting the investigation
A couple months before 9/11 George W. Bush signed W199I threatening FBI investigators with arrest if they try to arrest members of the Al Quida. George Bush signed the papers, he is a traitor to humanity. He is business partners wit Osama Bin Laden and deserves to be thrown in jail.
Within days of 9/11, the Bush Administration provided safe passage out of the US for 14 members of the Bin Laden family, without interrogation.
In 1996 the Clinton Administration discouraged the FBI from investigating links between Osama Bin Laden’s brothers Abdulla and Omar and the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY), a known terrorist front organization.

On October 26, 2001, President George W. Bush signed the USA Patriot Act. Section 213 delays warrants. They can sneak into your home for any reason, take what ever they want and never tell you they were there and there are NO sunset provisions.
SEC. 213. AUTHORITY FOR DELAYING NOTICE OF THE EXECUTION OF A WARRANT.
SEC. 224. SUNSET (NEWSFLASH: THE SECRET WARANTLESS SEARCHES AND OTHER POLICE STATE MEASURES IN THE BILL ARE NOT SUNSETTED. THE MEDIA AND THE GOVERNMENT ARE LYING TO YOU.)
SEC. 802. DEFINITION OF DOMESTIC TERRORISM.
One sure way to determine who designed the societal system is to look at who it benefits. That’s a no brainer. The education system was designed to get everybody to think the same way which makes it easier to control the collective.
Most Americans do not recognize that Congress had passed a bill that would give the government expanded power to invade our privacy, imprison people without due process and punish dissent.
Some of the fundamental changes to Americans’ legal rights by the Bush administration and the USA Patriot Act following the terror attacks:
* FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION
Government may monitor religious and political institutions without suspecting criminal activity to assist terror investigation.
* FREEDOM OF INFORMATION
Government has closed once-public immigration hearings, has secretly detained hundreds of people without charges, and has encouraged bureaucrats to resist public records requests.
* FREEDOM OF SPEECH
Government may prosecute librarians or keepers of any other records if they tell anyone that the government subpoenaed information related to a terror investigation.
* RIGHT TO LEGAL REPRESENTATION
Government may monitor federal prison jailhouse conversations between attorneys and clients, and deny lawyers to Americans accused of crimes.
* FREEDOM FROM UNREASONABLE SEARCHES
Government may search and seize Americans’ papers and effects without probable cause to assist terror investigation.
* RIGHT TO A SPEEDY AND PUBLIC TRIAL
Government may jail Americans indefinitely without a trial.
* RIGHT TO LIBERTY
Americans may be jailed without being charged or being able to confront witnesses against them.
George W. Bush
March 23rd, 2002, “The Bush administration today proposed dropping a requirement at the heart of federal rules that protect the privacy of medical records. It said doctors and hospitals should not have to obtain consent from patients before using or disclosing medical information for the purpose of treatment or reimbursement. The proposal, favored by the health care industry, was announced by Tommy G. Thompson, the secretary of health and human services, who said the process of obtaining consent could have “serious unintended consequences” and could impair access to quality health care. The sweeping privacy rules were issued by President Bill Clinton in December 2000. When Mr. Bush allowed them to take effect last April, consumer advocates cheered, while much of the health care industry expressed dismay…”
This new law that I signed today will allow surveilance of all communications used by terrorists, including the Internet, email, cell phones.
The 13th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution states, “Neither slavery, nor involuntary servitude, except as punishment for crime … shall exist within the United States.”
Report Post »~ The Declaration of Independence reads:
“But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.”
(It means that if there is something wrong, those who have the ability to take action have the responsibility to take action.)

Still getting and allowance from mom and dad and don’t pay income tax? Well good for you for being a parasite (that‘s someone that feeds off someone else in case you didn’t know). Personally, if I were you, and maybe I was working (capitalist) then I would rather keep as much of my paycheck as possible – but that’s just me (selfish). That way I could spend more and support other hardworking people that are trying to keep more of their money so they can spend more. Get the picture?

I wanted to see if there were any signs saying “Yes, we miss you”, or “Please come back”, or “We‘d NEVER call YOU ’dude’ “. I was watching some clip of George W. a couple of days ago, and I was thinking, man I miss hearing that voice — especially since we hear SO damn much of this president’s voice, seemingly nonstop, and recently about that damn car in the ditch.
I want the current president to know that we’ll be calling a tow truck for the car tomorrow. You should have thought of calling one yourself.
Maybe it’s just because I live in Virginia, but I remember when Obama came stumping for Creigh Deeds. Obama made some silly comments about Deeds’ hair, and Deeds’ tie being a little crooked. Then I heard Obama the other day when he was campaigning for Harry Reid. He was saying the same sort of things about Reid — about him being soft-spoken, or not the flashiest dresser (something along that line, anyway). Kinda made me wonder if history was going to repeat itself . . . .

A world where the rule of law, not the law of the jungle, governs the conduct of nations. When we’re successful, and we will be, we have a real chance at this New World Order, an order in which a credible United Nations can use its peacekeeping role to fulfill the promise and vision of the UN’s founders.”
-George H. W. Bush
1) “Forge a New World Order”
Forge? Not very constitutional. New World Order? Not very constitutional.
2) “rule of law, not the law of the jungle, governs the conduct of nations.”
Nations? As in plural? As in centralized global governance? Yes, it’s “that” New World Order, not some other magical land of personal freedom, liberty, and capitalism.
3) “When we’re successful, and we will be, we have a real chance at this New World Order”
Analyze that sentence… do you detect any choice, or does it sound like you’re being put in your place? Also, how can you have a “chance” at a New World Order once you’re successful? That implies that the specific (more current, pressing) “success” he’s referring to is not the New World Order itself… so what is he referring to? What’s this “success” that has to come before the New World Order? Think about that one.
4) “a credible United Nations can use its peacekeeping role to fulfill the promise and vision of the UN’s founders.”
The UN’s founders? League of Nations? Need I say more?
This is why America is still doomed… you just refuse to accept reality. You should all be ashamed of your ignorance, especially if it’s willful. Either wake up 100% or flush your freedom down the toilet. Those are your only choices.

Posted on November 1, 2010 at 4:06amI agree, Anarcho Capitalist. Bush’s Achilles heel was his naiveté. He was unable to spot liberal moles. Paulson, an ex Clintonite, was an Obama man and a close friend of Geithner’s. Bush should have seen the writing on the wall when Paulson appointed Eric Mindich, a Dim fundraiser and then Obama supporter, to a key advisory role in the Treasury Department. Furthermore, both Paulson and Mindich had worked at Goldman Sachs, a corrupt investment banking and securities firm with close ties to Obama.
Paulson was responsible for starting the financial panic that got Obama elected. Once he received the TARP money, he abused his position and used it for unintended purposes. In case libs forgot, TARP stands for TROUBLED ASSETS Relief Program. However, instead of purchasing illiquid mortgage assets to increase credit availability, the effing mole bought preferred stock from major banks against their will to gain control of the banking system for Obama. Paulson is a slimeball and a traitor, and Bush was taken for a ride over TARP.

Posted on November 1, 2010 at 7:11amI agree, it was great to see them. I never had any doubts that these two great men loved America before, during, and after being president.

Posted on November 1, 2010 at 8:11amI did not agree with all the policies of both Bush’s but I believe both men were men of honor and respected the office of the Presidency. They were not divisive. It was a nice moment seeing them both together and I was feeling nostalgic. Tomorow we need to elect men and women of good character and honor to office who will restore our nation (no light-progressives; no RINOS).

Posted on November 1, 2010 at 9:12amMatty and his/her friends: Why not just say what you mean instead of the sarcastic, mean-spirited messages. I don‘t agree with everything Bush did as I don’t agree with much that Obama does but I am upfront with my disagreement and don’t try and cloak it in sarcasm. I think it is the major problem in America today – we don’t debate issues – we sneer and snarl as we distort the issues. Be upfront with your views – even if I disagree I will not find you disagreeable..

Posted on November 1, 2010 at 2:02pm“Matty/ *********” are you a homosexual? You sure are turned on by that “T” word. Your government school education is showing, you wouldn’t know a debate if it hit you in the head. Trying to change the debate to a phony premise, then criticizing for those not stooping down to your level, is pure arrogance on your part. No one will give someone like you the pleasure of a dialog, when that’s not truly what you want anyway. If it were, you would have a picture of BO or BF, (Barney Frank). Get out of the public library, you’re scaring the kids!

Posted on November 1, 2010 at 4:19pma few summers ago while fishing for stripers at low tide in southern maine, a boat called fidelityII came in front of me as i was waist deep at low tide on a marsh river. It was president George H W Bush. I didn’t know what to do so i saluted him, he saluted back and smiled. i loved him as our president and think the left did a disservice to our nation by demonizing. He is and has been a kind and honorable man.

Posted on November 2, 2010 at 12:47amNETBUG,
I liked BOTH Bushes better than PeaBo and Carter. I do NOT like the global ideologies they had. The UN seems to think they would govern us better than we could choose to govern ourselves and even the states’ rights and local governments types completely disagree with how the federal govt has tried to micromanage the people. Local government works best locally and too much heavy power in the fed will lead to the eventuality of global governance. We do not need people half a world away telling us what is best for us in our homes and communities, especially if they do not understand a culture free from tyranny and oppression. Global gvernance will never be accepted by all because it is never going to be in our best interest. That being said, Reagan was the best we have had in the last century with Calvin Coolidge running a close second if not tied. History has been tainted by the Wilsons and Roosevelts of the elitist pro-regressive classes. Yes, we do miss the confidence even if imperfections of Bush but we should NEVER settle for (PeaBo’s favorite words) the “status quo” but need real conservative leadership again. We need strong families and local governments and state governments willing to do what Jan Brewer has done. We MUST do better for the sake of “ourselves and our posterity”. The painnting of President George Washington kneeling at Valley forge in supplication to God by choice is what we need to strive to attain again, reluctant leaders who do not choose to be in a party but would rather be a father to his family and still be humble before God and fully realize that the greatest calling a man can have in life is to be a good father to his children. The same said for mothers. Community family by federal decree is not how family units should be defined neither should governing bodies that are outside of our families be running our country. I would not have my neighbors setting the rules in my home nor raising my children.
