I love being a conservative that looks at someone like Cher as having had wonderful opportunities in life, yet along the way failed to learn to appreciate basic American principles. Sadly her loss. To you who think 60 is old, it beats the alternative. I have the pain of loss of missing many family and friends who never made it this far. Posted on November 25, 2010 at 7:22pmI think one of the big problems that these “stars” have is that when they start raking in the big bucks, they start to become narcissists and believe that their wealth makes them authorities in areas that they know nothing about. Remember, they have a whole host of people gathered around them that are heavily invested in the star’s success for their own personal interest (i.e. a paycheck).
Another major problem is the idea of “collective guilt” that was pedaled in the 60‘s and 70’s where entire groups of people became “responsible” for situations they had little or no input into. For the “stars”, that means that they too, by their very wealth, are guilty of capitalist leanings. So, they have to “give back” to the community and help those who are “less fortunate”. Do these phrases sound familiar to anyone? Okay, how about this old chestnut: “If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.”? The only way these “stars” can justify their existence (Paris Hilton excepted, of course) is by spouting socialist dreck.
Seriously, Cher has (or had) a fabulous voice. However, I seriously, seriously doubt that she would have gotten anywhere if it hadn’t been for Sonny, who literally had the business sense to create a marketable product. That’s what entertainment is all about. After he left show business, Sonny went on to run a successful restaurant (and it was his feud with the local authority over the sign for the restaurant that started his political career) and later a successful political career. If he was alive today, I firmly believe that Sonny would be out there with the rest of us who are Tea Party members. Sonny was comfortable with what he had because he understood personal responsibility. He got it. Cher is still in la-la land with the rest of the financially insulated “stars”.

Where their every whim is taken seriously. It doesn’t take long for them to actually start believing in that life. They come out into the really real world for a few days and hang around with ordinary hard working people then they go back to their fairytale existence again. That’s why when you watch the awards on tv you never see joe blow out in the audience. They only ones that will pat them on the back are their neighbors that live next door in la la land.

The people in Hollywood actually think that they can say whatever pops into their little pea brains. They think that where ever they go that there will be fans waiting in the streets to give them their feelings of endearment.
The only ones that actually pat them on the backs are the ones that are in the same business. Just look at what has happened to Randy Quiad and his wife. They are in Canada trying to get away from the people that murder actors.

She can barely move her body and her facial expressions are almost non-existent .. what do you expect from a women in this condition, sedated mentally, spiritually and physically. There is no way she can or could understand the importance of what any patriot stands for. Her looks are surreal and inside matches the outside. Sad!
One thing she did get right, is that I have NO ntention of ever seeing that movie. I still have the right to not go and I‘ll do my best to see to it that you don’t lose that right too.
