Chicago ‘Occupier’ Outside Rahm Emanuel’s Office: The Revolution Requires Collapsing American Gov.

You might recall that on Wednesday, angry Chicago “Occupiers” stormed Rahm Emanuel’s office at City Hall demanding they be allowed to set up camp at Grant Park indefinitely. Emanuel, however, remained ensconced in his office and refused to emerge, infuriating the already-agitated protesters. Now, footage has surfaced featuring some of the more radical occupiers at City Hall that day, including retired school teacher and militant gay-rights activist Roger Fraser. When Rebel Pundit asked Fraser the “revolution” would require “collapsing the American government,” Fraser answered in the affirmative stating, “personally, I think so.”
For the record, Fraser earns a mere $7,792.75 a month from his pension.
RP adds:
In the following interview, conducted yesterday inside City Hall, we asked Fraser if “this” was the kind of revolution he was talking about. Fraser told us, “This is the beginning.”
When asked what he thought it would take to achieve the activists’ goals, he remarked: “This kind of thing on a massive scale.“ He also answered in the affirmative as to whether or not the revolution would require collapsing the American government, and explained: ”Because….the resistance against this will be overwhelming…very strong….and relentless.”
Fraser, who has been described a “militant” gay-rights activist, is a member of the Gay Liberation Network — the same organization founded by Chicago G-8 and NATO protest organizer — and anti-war radical Andy Thayer.
“Black, white, gay, straight, young, old” are all here, exclaimed Fraser. “This is great.”

Have none of been exposed to the fact that most Americans support these protests? Has it never occurred to you that Americans have a legitimate gripe about the economic collapse in 2007 and the people responsible for the tanking of the economy?
Oh and by the way, Exxons profits are have risen by almost 50% over last year, your gas prices haven’t dropped, at least not because of Exxon, and they aren’t hiring even one dang person. And they’re still getting huge tax breaks, something that you pay for. So please, stop talking about giving even bigger tax breaks to big oil. They are doing fine, the stockholders are doing fine, and your income in real dollars is declining.

Posted on October 28, 2011 at 1:30amJZS, I agree most Americans do have legitimate complaints about the financial crisis and events that transpired around it. To expand that to conclude that most Americans stand with these individuals is a huge leap. There are many people representing all types of whacked out causes that are representative of these groups that are “occupying” all over the country. In Dallas a group tried to block access to a large downtown bank and were cleared out by the police. Most Americans will look for change by voting. Most Americans are too busy trying to work to support their families. These folks are being paid to camp out and do not represent me or most Americans. Perhaps you feel they are representing you and others like you. I suspect that the coming elections will show how outnumbered you are.

Posted on October 28, 2011 at 10:41am@JZS, you just don’t get it. The OWS is supported by people, who to a large extent, want to collapse the system. That’s why people who see it for what it is, post these comments. As far as the others, well I can understand they weren’t for the bailout for banks, neither were conservatives.
We all understand Wall Street’s role, but it started with the Federal Government who’s lack of oversight and pressure on the banks, coupled with the feds keeping the interest rates down, created this mortgage bubble and fiasco. Look at the perpetrator (feds) to understand the larger picture. While many were not for the bailouts (including myself)….who bailed them out? Government!

Where was that sentiment when the TEA PARTY movement broke out across America? I don’t recall the media and the President saying “Well, they have a legitimate complaint, I sympathize…” etc etc.
NO the message of limited government, and fiscal responsibility was roundly bashed, mocked, or ignored. The protests were peaceful, orderly, and supportive of military and LE.
I attended several of those protests – never one arrest, and I never saw or heard the anti-semitic racist hatred I see spewing from the OWS.
JZS – do the math & figure it out. The “legitimate” complaint of the OWS is nothing more than a thin cloak wrapped around a COMMUNIST MOVEMENT.

Posted on October 28, 2011 at 3:36pmJZS – you are completely out to lunch if you think most Americans support these protests. The US is a center right country. Always has been. What I find funny is that the Tea Party peacefully demonstrated against bank bailouts 2 years ago and people like you labeled them every name in the book. Now we have these deadbeat FleaBaggers crying about banks while defecating in doorways, ignoring permits, and generally disrupting average Americans in the area and you think they are patriotic and doing the right thing.
Here is what I suggest. Let’s give the Occupy Delusion crowd the Northeast – MA, VT, ME, NY, NJ, DE, MD and let them set up their utopian country without the rest of us evil capitalists oppressing them. Then they can live the good life without banks and corporations getting in the way.

Most people don’t even know what the OWS is all about. They just want to complain. If what they really believe were fully exposed and understood as many posters here do, there would be outrage at the fact that these illegal demonstrations are allowed. I don’t know if any have permits, truth is most would require a Conditional Use Permit for what they are doing.

Posted on October 29, 2011 at 1:37amThis reply is to JZS: Most Americans are NOT for these contrived protests. The majority are very immature, young adults, who, if they had a brain and a sense of self, would question why someone would want to brainwash them and instill hate for this great country. They can’t even fathom what a hard time is, nor actually working for what you attain in life. They have been coddled and handed everything they have on a silver platter.
Not one OWS person that has spoken to the media has an individual view or thought. THEY ARE ALL FOLLOWERS chanting a mantra they were given in a place they were told to go to!
You speak of the 2007 economic collapse – spouting the words you were given. It was not the banks, nor the big corporations, it was Barney Frank and Chris Dodd and their corrupt activities with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Those of you who can read and comprehend can research the truth for yourselves. However, the majority of the OWS crowd don’t have a sense of self – so how can you think for yourselves?
Corporations and profits. This is where it really shows the stupidity of the followers of Stephen Lerner, Piven, VanJones, Trumpka, Soros and all the other communists, socialists, etc. Every one of these activists make a ton of money and live very lavishly. Posted on October 28, 2011 at 5:46pmWhile I fully agree Comrade Zippy richly deserves to be drawn & quartered, this would likely violate the 8th Amendment. Now, tar, feathers, and a splintery rail ridden bare a$$ back to Chicago have the authority of precedent and sound a delightfully satisfying solution for the long-suffering taxpayers – especially if he were given a blanket party every night . . . nothing lethal, just enough to make it clear we disapprove of socialist hubris.

Posted on October 27, 2011 at 9:16pmIn that case, let’s protest at Walter Reed hospital. What’s good for the goose is good for the Iraq War veteran, right? At least the ones in Oakland.
Good job, Americans. You really know how to wave that flag!

Posted on October 27, 2011 at 8:33pmJack_ss. Maybe he would like to share part of his monthly pension with a soldier & his family who are on food stamps. These people are a bunch of socialist phonies. I’m glad their fellow socialist mayor refused to come out of his office & listen to them scream their nonsense.
