‘Chicken Too Tasty’: Detroit Lions Linebacker Says He’d Still Eat Chick-fil-A Even if They Supported Slavery

Though he normally sticks to tackling offensive players, Detroit Lions linebacker Justin Durant on Wednesday decided to instead tackle the ongoing controversy surrounding Chick-fil-A and the restaurant’s decision to back traditional marriage. Somehow, the football star ended up saying he would still support the fast food chain even if they came out in support of slavery.
The football star went on Twitter yesterday — “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day” — and, innocently enough, asked his followers “what happened” with Chick-fil-A? As the replies came pouring in, Durant expressed his disbelief that there was any controversy at all.
“Chick-Fil-A not even open on Sunday how people shocked that the owner feels that way?” Durant Tweeted, referring to the restaurant’s backing of traditional marriage.

He also questioned why people would let someone’s personal beliefs factor into their meal decisions. “So people not gon get the best chicken sammich and lemonade on the planet because of a personal belief? Word?” he tweeted.

At one point, someone asked him if he would boycott Chick-fil-A “if the owner came out and said slavery was a good idea.” His response: “Chicken too tasty.”

To be fair, it is highly, if not 100 percent unlikely that Durant, a black man, would still support Chick-fil-A if they advocated for slavery. If anything, it speaks more poorly on the gentleman who chose to bring slavery into the conversation.

Or create a grand genetically modified zombie chicken clone army of chickens that did not make the cut to be a sandwich but are to be 8 feet tall with hands to force people in to work for free everywhere under power of a gun or whip.

You know the period of time called the Civil War!!! Its where about 625,000 Americans died (the most of any war we have fought) to: 1) hold the Union together and 2) end slavery. Well I guess some people just can’t read and are too damn stupid to know that slavery is illegal… Unless your are talking about slavery as it pertains to the Government. There are numerous people enslaved by government programs that only serve to weaken their resolve to be accountable to themselves and their neighbors. That government sanctioned slavery still exists…

Like U2, that’s a band lead by a Bolshevik Bono, but I still like their music and I’ll listen to it. I don‘t refuse to listen to music or watch a movie if the performer doesn’t have my personal belief. The only exception I make is GE. That is one corrupt mega corporation that doesn’t pay any taxes. I refuse to buy anything GE.
But people like that thug mayor in Chicago saying if you’re not down with their PC Bolshevism, then you can leave the city…..that’s something right out of the Soviet Union. It just shows how the Democratic Party has been taken over by radical communists. They are no longer the Democratic Party, they are the Communist Party, Worker’s Party, Labor Party, Marxist Party, People’s Party or whatever commies call themselves these days. Hopefully there will be a revolution in this country and these traitors can be dealt with accordingly.
