Child ‘Zombies’ March Against Gov. Walker’s Union Bill: ‘Eat the Rich’

Sure, it’s odd that Madison, WI hosted a Zombie walk to protest Gov. Walker’s budget cuts and anti-union bill. And if you call the costumes “sick” that might actually be a compliment. But how do you describe children dressing up in those costumes and carrying anti-Walker and pro-union signs?

Buzzfeed captured some of the young living dead from Saturday:

Mediate found a video of the march, which includes chants of, ““What do we want? BRAINS! When do we want them? BRAINS!” Author Alex Alvaraz explains, “The insinuation being, of course, that brains are difficult to come by among Wisconsin lawmakers backing the bill:”

And yes, you did notice more children in the video:

“Faux News” even showed up and captured one kid in full face paint groaning, “Brains,” and another in a stroller with a sign that says, “Eat the Rich:”

      Do you hold the same standard for all the kids that have been brought to Tea Party events? They’ve been brought there, with signs and sometimes costumes. Seems like the same thing to me.

      Funny….been top a few Tea Parties and I have NEVER seen ANY of the things liberals are telling me happen there. Never saw anyone exploiting their children. There were NO children chanting clever hate filled slogans. Never heard anyone shout anything derogatory or racist. NOT ONCE. So the tea party is evil argument is crap. I do however have friends (?) that are liberal and if I do not agree with their every word they start ragging on me and telling me how uninformed I am (the reason for the ?) blah blah blah.       I don’t really have a big problem involving the kids because if you think about it, if your mom or dad was a union worker, you would want to help them do what they believe is right. Now, if it’s teachers bringing in students from school, that’s a different story. That, in my opinion, would definitely be wrong. But there’s no real evidence of that in this story like there was in the initial protests,(though I didn’t watch the video.) .

      So now, either the majority of the state is union backed and they elected this guy. Or the union does NOT represent a majority of the state. Are you saying that the union backers are the ones who chose this guy? Then the union is incredibly dumb for picking someone so clearly against collective bargaining. I would have thought that a Union majority would have picked a Democrat as their governor.

      I guess Walker could have pulled the old “bait and switch” Do you have any evidence from his campaign that he was going to continue to support the union? Does his history as a Republican show that he was a strong Union supporter? Hopefully he was not caught on tape saying that he was going to anything drastic to reduce a budget deficit.

Everything about the events in Wisconsin has been Astro-Turf from the Union members (biggest Astro-Turfers in this country) being shipped in to the students who don’t have a clue why they are holding signs and now to the kids that were promised Happy Meals if they dress up and protest something they can’t even begin to comprehend.

      Yeah!!! Tax breaks are bad. That’s why San Francisco has it right. You don’t want a company coming into an area and then creating jobs and revitalizing a poorer area. That would be awful. They might bring thousands of jobs along with them. Let’s tax them based on how much they pay. That’s a sure fire way to keep the number of jobs and the amount people are paid down. Too bad they can just take those jobs elsewhere. If only everyone was as smart as San Francisco.

      When these tax breaks do not do anything but create the budget crisis, yes the tax breaks are bad. When you are asking the middle class to take cuts in pay and services so the fat cat donors to Walker’s campaign can get tax breaks, yes tax breaks are bad.

      If you are not in the upper 1% that benefit, then you are a useful idiot for them and are allowing them to loot the states and kill the working and middle class.

      So who exactly will benefit if Twitter decided to relocate their company outside of San Francisco? Because it surely wouldn’t be San Francisco. How many of these middle class people in San Francisco are going to benefit by this company leaving? Or maybe they should just stay where they are and then they don’t need the growth that the investors are providing money for. That way those evil rich investors don‘t have to invest money into Twitter and Twitter won’t have to worry about all those additional jobs.

      But you’re right. It’s all about keeping money from those middle class workers.

      Hey Encinom… some of us middle-class Wisconsinites do not agree with thug tactics of union leaders, are not public employees, and have been paying the way of public sector employees and their unions for far too long.

      And we’d never use our children in the manner that these unthinking parents have done.

      These protests are about the money. Not the money than some public employees are being asked to pay for their own health insurance or own pension. It is about the lose in union dues. Take a look at the numbers of public sector employees that opted out of paying union dues in Indiana and Utah.

      Collective bargaining is a PRIVILEGE… not a right!
