Child’s Foot Washes Ashore in Wash. State; Second in Four Months

TACOMA, Wash. (AP) – Authorities are seeking more information about a small human foot that washed ashore in Washington state.
Tacoma police spokesman Mark Fulghum (FULL-jum) said Tuesday the right foot was still inside a boy’s size 6 “OzArk Trail” hiking boot, and likely belonged to a juvenile or small adult. He says the boots were sold in Walmart stores from 2004 to 2005.
The foot found early last week is believed to have floated in from either the Puyallup River or Puget Sound. It’s the second to wash ashore in Washington state in four months.
In late August, a right foot believed to be that of a woman or child washed up on a beach in Whidbey Island, about 70 miles north of Tacoma.
Fulghum says police don’t yet know if the cases are linked, or if they have any connection to cases in British Columbia, where seven feet have washed ashore in the past four years.

Report Post »Regarding the latter we are facing a massive aging group in the west desperately needing organ transplants and the rich are willing to pay top dollars for a kidney, liver, heart, eyes, etc. making the average healthy human a walking talking “bank”.
Regarding the first issue as the economy collapses more and more people seek the powerful numbing effects of drugs to drown out their broken lives and dreams. Both issues could lead to violent and often lethal actions.

Why isn’t this getting the attention that the Green River strangler got? Do they have to find a majority of the body for it to be considered heinous enough to start a real search for this freak (or gang or freaks)?
Has this person found the way to commit a perfect crime and do an “IN YOUR FACE” to the police and all of society?
Are the police and media ignoring these crimes because they are embarrassed to admit that they have NOTHING to go on?
What’s the problem here? We’ve got feet washing up onshore and no outcry to find the rest of the people or the people responsible….

Posted on December 15, 2010 at 6:32pmIt’s not a calling card. I believe the feet and shoes float up to the surface after the bodybag is degenerating at the bottom of the ocean. Think DEXTER. The guy chops up the bodies, puts them in a bag, throws the bags in the ocean, the bags get damaged by fish and sea life, and lighter body parts will float back up to the surface, eventually washing ashore.

Posted on December 15, 2010 at 1:25pmI found a foot in a running shoe when I was a kid back in 69-70. Adults around just said thats gross and we threw it back in the water. Now people are checking these shoes that bob around in the water and so we find more feet. of those they have been able to conect them to after investigating have been airplane crashes boating drownings and suicides. Some solace to the kin but half have no known identity. Shoes loat and eventually just seperate from the other remains with the foot and sock still inside. Doesn’t work with work boots though.

Here in the people’s republic of Washington they are likely to open a very expensive investigation to see what motivated the foot to separate from its person and float off alone. If it were in King county (Seattle) instead of Pierce county (Tacoma) they would be looking for the person or persons who were polluting the sound with feet, so that they could be fined for assault on the environment.

In all that time we never heard of any major concerns about missing children or serial killers. I am thinking that the latest two are indeed in connection to the 7 found in BC. It is always so sad to hear about these stories. I hope they are able to identify the victims soon so family can have closure, and hopefully they will catch the person/s doing this.

Last year there was like 10 different feet that washed up, they try to say the foot decomposed and came off and floated away….I think however foul play is involved and the police are afraid to tell America that someone is doing this. We are all so afraid of everything as it is.

Understood. Just figure this part of the equation as well, justice does finally catch up with murderers like this fiend(s) who do these things to children. Justice always does, in one fashion or another. I have seen personally one monster like this, after years of what he did to me, and I wish to this day I had inflicted more injury upon him when I struck back. More honestly, a few inches farther down and I would have gelded him.
And no, I am not sorry what happened to the monster.

i never let my girlfriend’s preteen girls go out into the woods around here without my old rifle. Its not so much the people around here i fear its the bears, and should it get dark, coyotes, (unfortunately) if a cougar wants one there may be nothing they can do about it (and that is my main concern) but then again if one has a firearm, maybe there is.
If you dont trust your kids with a firearm or u think they are too young. . . atleast give them something, mace, tazer, knife or a combination.
