Chinese Neighborhood Tries to Ban Veils & Arab Clothing

Chinese Neighborhood Tries to Ban Muslim Clothing | Dunmaili District of Yining

BEIJING (The Blaze/AP) — Burqa and Islamic garb bans are apparently all the rage these days. On Monday, the Blaze reported that Canadians will have to remove any face-coverings, such as the Islamic niqab or burqa, while they take the oath of citizenship. France, of course, has already implemented a more sweeping veil ban.

Now, a city district in heavily Muslim western China is joining in by purportedly trying to tamp down religious fervor by prohibiting people from wearing veils, traditional Arab dress or growing long beards. A regional spokeswoman said that she was unaware of the campaign and added that it sounds unrealistic. Still, there’s evidence that it is alive and well in the region.

A notice from the Dunmaili district of Yining disappeared from the Yining government website Thursday afternoon. It was still available on a state-run news website, though the reason for the discrepancy was uncertain.

Using the slogan ‘Dilute religious consciousness, advocate a civilized healthy life style,‘ the notice said the campaign’s objective was “to completely get rid of the abnormal phenomenon in the entire community of minority ethnic women and youth wearing Arabian dress, growing beards and covering their faces in veils.”

Yining is in Xinjiang, a region home to the traditionally Muslim Uighur ethnic group. Many Uighurs resent Chinese rule and controls on their religion and culture and the region has occasionally seen violent unrest.

The notice said stubborn individuals who refused to give up their veils, Arab dress or long beards should be educated, and “diehards” turned over to judicial departments.

Xinjiang regional spokeswoman Hou Hanmin told The Associated Press by telephone that she was unaware of the campaign. She said ordinary people in Xinjiang are free to wear what they like, regardless of their faith. She said public schools do have guidelines instructing teachers to wear “secular” clothing.

“This is not consistent with the reality here,” Hou said of the campaign.

China allows different faiths to practice their religion but only in state-backed churches and mosques.

Tibetan Buddhists, Uighur Muslims and other minority faithful are generally allowed to wear their traditional dress. However, both communities have been targeted in political re-education campaigns following anti-government violence related to complaints about a lack of religious freedom.

Another case in point is that the one Raven which is released from the Ark which goes out to dry up the waters from the face of the earth – that’s most of you who will not listen to me. Because the meek who are the unclean by the two’s will listen to me, and the clean by the sevens know exactly the things I am saying, but the Raven rejects the things I say and will not listen.

The State needs to be able to ID you at all times wherever you go. You must Obey and have Pictured ID on your person at all times and your face must be visible to vendors, neighbors, police and other officials. A car has a license plate so it can be identified in case its user is involved in a crime or petty traffic infraction, your dog and cat must be identifiable, have its shots and be registered with your local county officials, your car must be registered so the applicable officials know who it belongs to for taxation. A person covered this way can easily switch ID’s with another and just simply not be who they are supposed to be. She looks like a….? I don’t know I never saw her face.

Are you referring to Jesus Christ? Because they did say he was of the devil, and also bedeviled. But then again your mind doesn’t really go there does it, because you randomly select the scriptures you read rather than read them all to put the story together.

Eliasim – are you saying you are Elias? The prophet?

Because if you are the prophet, you would speak in a way that others could understand. Your phrasing is soooooo confusing. What’s the point of a confusing prophet? No one would understand what God wants of them. Prophets in the Bible are easily understood. Like when Elijah talked to Ahab and said, speaking for God ” Behold, I will bring evil upon thee, and will utterly sweep thee away, and will cut off from Ahab every man-child, and him that is shut up and him that is left at large in Israel. ”

Very easy to understand. No riddles.

Do you really understand that or do you think you understand it? When it actually means that God will cut-off Ahab’s roots, and his children’s children will despise his name, forgetting about him, and they will eventually be carried far off because the children will forget Ahab’s “Line by lines, and precepts after precept’s.” Essentially ending in the result of Ahab’s family tree turned upside-down with it’s roots exposed until they dry and crumble.

And I can neither bind or unbind the things which he has bound, and neither would I try. Great changes are afoot, and I just want people to know there is a tomorrow no matter how different it may be.

In 1871 America became a Corporation – D.C. was established.

In 1933 the “Corp U.S” went bankrupt and owed the Federal Reserve.
It was time for the Global bankers to liquidate the U.S.A.

Instead of taking my word for it, let this guy explain it you at :30 into the video clip.

The Constitution designed government to protect our liberties and freedoms, so where along the line did a government that was to be run by the people, decide that Americans were owned property that could be pledged on a debt, that was caused by incompetence or corruption ?
If Obama signs NDAA #1867 S that considers “Belligerent” Americans a threat to national security
that can be detained indefinately without trial, and can also be tortured and executed, then let there be NO DOUBT, it is a declaration of Martial Law, and proof positive we are under Emergency powers.

The first attempt at creating a central bank in America only lasted 20 years and was shut down. But the bankers tried again against President Andrew Jackson, who was up for the challenge.

After surviving an assassination attempt, Jackson finally defeated the bank in 1836. When asked on his deathbed what was the greatest accomplishment in his life, Old Hickory replied:

This wasn’t part of China when Islam came there. The Uighurs are ethnically turkic not chinese. If we factor out the Muslim religion of the Uighurs and the commmunist ideology of the chinese government then you still have the oppression of a people by an invader and conqueror, like with Tibet. Just the expectation of catching a glimpse of an arab woman after having shaved off her moustache is so intoxicating that if they weren’t covered up in such a manner men would be grabbing them to hump them like dogs on the street. See? People do believe in big government, even communism, when it does things that they like.

I see this kind of thing on pretty much all political forums. It’s quite sad.

Freedom of religion doesn’t apply in China of course, but it is supposed to in places like France or these united States. Pray that the government here never gets in the business of dictating what kind of peaceful religious practices it will or won’t allow.

May not get or understand it, but it should be allowed until given pause or cause by something more official than take it off hag and look like us. Right, we need to emulate communist china. Sure. Let them have their freedom of religion until something other wise official-like getting on a plane or train or cashing a check or voting-dictates otherwise for id purposes, then back in the burkha. We should be saying whatever floats your boat and gets your goat, and welcome to Michigan, but…..

Islam is a culture of conquest. subjugation, oppression, pilfering and exclusion. A “Good” muslim vows to “death to infidels”.
This is an evil and anti-Westerm stance. Why Islam is allowed to exist at all is a mystery.. It should be wiped off the face of the Earth. There can be no Peace on Earth until then.. That’s just the way it is. Imagine no Islam for a moment……………..

If we are going to call Islam a plague, and treat its followers as something less than human, how and why should anyone see us as anything but the flip side of the same coin?

Now, PLEASE, don’t get us wrong, we understand the problem. But we see the problem as a struggle between good and evil being played out through the events of human history, and good and evil have been on both sides in all religions at various points in time. With this in mind, we feel compelled to ask: wouldn’t it be better to remember the golden rule and try to view the majority of these people as simply misguided; as deceived by evil?

Again, we are not condemning anyone or any religion, just asking how we are ever going to change anything if we seek to use hate ourselves instead of love?

So much bickering and hate. I know some people are just trying to be funny but so many of these comments (on almost all stories) just shows that a lot of conservatives are not really trying to be different than those they oppose. We have to be FOR something not just against everything on the left. Glenn was right that after a few comments it just turns into an argument. Please, can we be better! I love comments that I can learn from or that lift me up not ones filled with hate!

My point is this the ones who hide behind a mask and spread activist anti-everything not Muslim are not true Muslims. They are the ones that adhere strictly and literally to the portions of the Koran that command them to covert the infidel and if they will not convert kill them. If we Christians did the same thing we would still be stoning our children for lying or disrespect and would be just as extreme if not more. These insidious individuals are ninjas in the case that you don’t know you are being attacked till it is too late. The plan is in action and you have no clue that the “Woman” you just saw was a man or woman concealing a high intensity explosive under a burqa. To require all woman to ware such garb number one is not in the Koran as far as I have seen and heard and creates a culture that makes it easy to conceal dangerous items under the false premiss of “religion”.

They do that because they relate everything spiritual in the Bible into a worldly existence. Case in point even many Christians believe that the Bible actually means to “Stone” people, when the Bible means no such thing. The Bible instructs the “Man spirit” to cover their women, but it actually means that the “Giant Man” “Man spirit” must provide protection and shelter for his wife “The people.”
