Still now word on what a “hand-made” pistol looks like.

Posted on January 7, 2011 at 1:26amChinese police and military belongs to communist party, they serve and protect communist party, not Chinese people. Those policemen might be good people before they joined the police, but after they become the tools of the ruling party. They change. As many of my friends (used to be) who work in the Chinese governement told me that you either change yourself to blend into that system or you leave it. There is just no way of remaining the same, when others realize you are trying to be honest and uncorrupted, they will kick you out.
Report Post »If you go against the party, they will throw you in jail in the name of anti-government or treason. In China, communist party is the government, the law, the God, it is beyond everything. There is basically no media, there is only one voice–party’s propaganda. I often told my husband, Glenn would have long disappeared if he runs his show in China, or maybe they will never air his show in the first place. When I was in China my dad went to temple to worship Budda, I went with him, I saw some slogans written on the wall “religions must be under the leadership of communist party…….” I couldn’t believe my eyes.
Lot of things are just beyond your imagination. When you read China, don’t be fooled by 10% GDP growth and dazzling modern cities. When the government sell the land(Chinese people don’t own any land, period) to the developer, demolish people’s house and force them to move, when people refused to do so, they ran over them or buried them alive, the GDP is nothing but a cold and bloody word. This is what’s been happening.
China is my homecountry, I don’t want to see any violence there hurting innocent people. However this could be just the begining when people have no any other way of bring the justice to them.

Posted on January 5, 2011 at 11:29amTriads and government go hand in hand since the twenty’s, when the white guard verses the red did battle in Shanghai. Organized crime has operated as shadow governments in China and Taiwan under Mao and Chiang Kai-shek. The fact that these guys had a ‘homemade’ gun says a lot about the effectiveness of China’s gun control. There are a lot of ruthless bad actors in the far east.

Posted on January 7, 2011 at 1:53amThis has happened, in 2008, a guy from Beijing went to a police station in Shanghai and killed six policemen, the case is when he worked in Shanghai, the police in that station accused him of stealing motocycle and beat him up, he was later proven innocent. He demanded an apology from those policemen who beat him, policemen refused to do it. He has waited for a year. Before he decided the killing, he told his friends that I want to let them know that if you don’t give me an apology then I will send you a message. He never tried to escape, he was arrested at his home in Beijing and shortly executed without an open trial.
Report Post »If you ask an average Chinese people about this guy (his name is Yang Jia), they will tell you, he is a hero.

Posted on January 5, 2011 at 8:54pm@************************* China is a country run by a Dictatorial Communist Government – it is NOT a “slave” land. And, I would suggest you take a look at a country where people WORK, there are no welfare handouts. Take a look at China’s modern cities, look at the crowds of people rushing to work. China, like everywhere else in the world has people who are RICH and who are poor. Now take a look at the slums of NY, the homeless street people in our big cities, the beggars and pan handlers, look in OUR jails.
I feel for the families of the Chinese police, as I would feel for an American policeman shot in the line of duty by a criminal.
@Butchcoolidge – so right – a potato canon, which requires very little ‘engineering’ or manufacturing can take out a car (and those in it).
