Amazing Rescue: Chinese Workman Left Suspended 30 Feet in the Air After Floor Collapses Beneath Him

A Chinese maintenance worker was left suspended from an iron bar more than 30 feet off the ground after a building ceiling gave way.
The upper floor the man was working on collapsed, sending him plunging onto a maze of bars, ITN reported. He remained there for more than an hour before a rescue crew set up a giant airbag and helped him to safety.
His only reported injuries were bruising to the hands from grasping the bar.

Posted on May 20, 2012 at 1:59amThat ‘rescue crew’ looks an awful lot like a bunch of office workers. I don’t know about you guys but if I had to hold on until people in my building found an airbag and set it up; well let’s just say they would be better off looking for a mop and bucket.
