So, how is the left reacting to former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee’s “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day“ today? Well, with a lot of intolerance, actually.
(RELATED: This Is What Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day Looked Like (With Your Pictures, Stories and Video))
Some of the restaurant’s fiercest critics took to Twitter to voice their opposition to the outpouring of public support that Chick-fil-A is seeing today. Many of the tweets involve wishing death upon anyone who eats at the fast food chain today. Others are even more disgusting and include vulgar profanities, which we chose not to include in our rundown.
Here are some of the most vile tweets of the day:

LOL, how do they say: Their hate only makes me more popular?
The ONLY reason I knew about Chik-Fil-A was because it used to have that kids commerical on PBS (Yes, PBS, they dump BUCKETS off money for you remember?) about the cows promoting them for it meant less of them being burgers! Which was usually funnier than the global warming crap they were superimposing into their kids brainwash shows.
Go Chik-Fila-A!

Posted on August 1, 2012 at 9:19pmOh wow, what a hoot. This website posts a couple of twitter statements and says that’s how “the left” responds. Sure, that’s like saying Terry Jones or the Westboro Church represents “the right.” That’s like saying Timothy McViegh is representative of Iraqi vets, or that Larry Craig represents the “right wing” view of monogamous marriage and heterosexuality. Or that a couple of Tea Party racists comments and posters represent the entire Tea Party. Or that Osama Bin Laden is representative of all Muslims. I could go on but to what point?
This is simply an appeal to your ignorance, just as remarks from any one of the ten members of the New Black Panther Party are news here. It’s the basis of bigotry: if you can get an “actual” inflammatory remark from, say, a black guy, or a Jew, or a French person, it supports your view that all members of that group think exactly the same thing. It fits with your ignorance and bigotry, so you don’t question that everyone on the “the left” or some other group all, like the Borg, believe the same thing.
That’s the definition of bigotry and racism. Hint: whenever someone says “they all believe this horrible thing,” then first, they are wrong and second, they are bigots.
Personally I don’t have a problem with a business owner or anyone expressing their opinions and admire him for being willing to take backlash. I admire that. Awesome.

Posted on August 1, 2012 at 10:53pmFor once, JZS has a valid point, but I object to some of your examples – the Left are quick to condemn ALL tea pariters when they see a sign put up by a liberal infiltrator that demonstrates what they perceive as tea party values. Also, I don’t remember seeing too many death wishes on this site, while many of the oh so “tolerant” liberals use those all the time to demonstrate how full of love and tolerance they are. I agree that lumping all people of a race/religion/life style/etc. into one category is the height of bigotry, JZS does that quite often on this blog to bash conservative Christians – kind of pot calling the kettle black. Tolerance to most liberals means you agree with them or you’re full of hate and should die.

Posted on August 2, 2012 at 9:42amJZS…unlike a lot of people here, I actually find you reasonable when you’re approached without sarcasm. So without screwing around, I’d like to ask a legitimate question.
You wrote, “Personally I don’t have a problem with a business owner or anyone expressing their opinions and admire him for being willing to take backlash.”
The question I ask myself is, “why would you anyone have to ‘take backlash’ over their opinions?” If Dan Cathy thinks whatever he thinks, why would anyone have a right to attack him personally or his business? Not to say people can’t criticize or boycott. They can certainly do that.
Last night on Twitter, someone retweeted a link to an essay from a blogger who explained why he was angry at all the people supporting Chick-Fil-A. He mentioned their boycott had to do with the fact Chick-Fil-A supported organizations which wanted to make homosexuality illegal and other nonsense. I don’t know if this is true but assuming it is, that is perfectly understandable. I get it. The problem, I think, really started when the gay community spoke up LOUDLY against Chick-Fil-A after Dan Cathy stated his opinion. That is what none of us, gay or straight, should stand for. If, in fact, the boycott had only to do with the organizations Chick-Fil-A and other companies support, and they made that clear, perhaps even some conservatives would join in on the boycott.

Posted on August 2, 2012 at 10:40amZORRO, the simple answer is that the same Constitutional guarantee that gives this business owner the right voice his opinion – and he has access to a nation-wide megaphone – gives others the right to object. You know that, so I’m not sure I understand your question. If you’re talking about civility, well, I agree that can be completely lacking, as can truthfullness. But those issues aren‘t addressesed in the Constitution and obviously couldn’t be.
Some people, like Sarah Palin in this case, and often in other cases have invoked the 1st Amendment. She said objections to this guys comments have “a chilling effect on the 1st Amendment.” Sorry if you‘re a Palin fan but that’s simply stupid. The 1st Amendment protects you from the government suppressing your speech. The 1st Amendment gives you the right to express your opinion and others the right to object, both without government interference.
The story with this guy is that he donates a lot, like millions, to groups who oppose same-sex marriage. If he donated to CAIR, I imagine he‘d get a lot of boycotts from a different group don’t you?
Yes, I admire the guy in a way. He evidently has principals that are above simply making money, even if I don’t agree with him on this issue.

Posted on August 2, 2012 at 11:14amJZS, I was referring to civility. You‘re right that the constitution can’t address that. I think, though, that as civil people, we should expect it. I realize this is not a valid representation of the “left” as some things reported on some of the media aren’t a valid representation of the right. We agree on this, I believe.
In regards to the issue of Cathly donating million to groups who oppose gay marriage, again I’m not seeing anything wrong. As they have a right to boycott, others have a right to support the company. But as I stated before, it appears to me the issue is not about opposing gay marriage but the fact some of these organizations which Cathy and his company support go further than that. Some of these people upset at conservatives claim these organizations support making homosexuality illegal and support the execution of homosexuals in other countries. I don’t know if this is correct but why not, instead of Kiss-Ins and name-calling, educate the Chick-Fil-A patrons of this with solid facts?
Do you agree with me that a very large majority of people who were at Chick-Fil-A yesterday are not likely to support executing illegals or throwing them in jail?
I honestly believe most don‘t and I further believe most didn’t know that the “beef” with Chick-Fil-A from the gay community was the support of these “organizations”.

Of course these tweets are not indicative of the democrat party. They are however a good cross section of the progressive movement in this country. It is not hateful to support the Christian concept of marriage, it is however very hateful to wish death upon someone whom you can not brow beat into caving in to your point of view. It must drive progressives nuts that instead of crushing CFAs business by hammering this in the media it spawned a day of support that according to some reports broke sales records. No one is talking about criminalizing homosexuality, but the public has spoken time and again. Every state in this country that has put it to a vote of the people has denied homosexuals the right to marry (yes even in uber liberal California). Homosexuals more likely to suffer from depression: “A new study in the United Kingdom has revealed that homosexuals are about 50% more likely to suffer from depression and engage in substance abuse than the rest of the population, reports Health24.com….the risk of suicide jumped over 200% if an individual had engaged in a homosexual lifestyle…the lifespan of a homosexual is on average 24 years shorter than that of a heterosexual…While the Health 24 article suggested that homosexuals may be pushed to substance abuse and suicide because of anti-homosexual cultural and family pressures, empirical tests have shown that there is no difference in homosexual health risk depending on the level of tolerance in a particular environment. Homosexuals in the United States and Denmark – the latter of which is acknowledged to be highly tolerant of homosexuality – both die on average in their early 50′s, or in their 40′s if AIDS is the cause of death. The average age for all residents in either country ranges from the mid-to-upper-70s.

Posted on August 1, 2012 at 6:48pmSin is a terrible thing. It will weigh heavily on someone‘s soul even if they don’t accept that their actions are sinful. And again a true Chrisitan that follows the teachings of Christ will not “hate” a homosexual. We will not glorify your lifestyle, accept it or teach our children it is right. We will not condone it, nor will we support it with our money. We will however, pray for you even if you don’t want us to. Then welcome you when you accept Christ into your heart. In the meantime don’t hate a man because his beliefs tell him you are sinning against his Savior. This man is not telling any homosexuals not to come into his business. He is not giving money to groups killing homosexuals nor is he harming anyone himself. This man is simply refusing to give money to groups that promote this lifestyle. It is his right as a businessman in America. And hating a group because they do not support your life choices making you the bigot. And one other thing, yes the Bible condemns homosexuality and there is no way around it. Take it or leave it. There is no middle ground. You are either hot or cold for the Lord. No one can be lukewarm when he stands before the Lord. Revelations 3:15-16.

Posted on August 1, 2012 at 7:04pmHorsedancer,
The greater question than that is: Why would anyone ENABLE this behavior in anyone?
In other words, if these are the CONSEQUENCES of this lifestyle why would the news media and the entertainment industry endorse it as though it was on par with heterosexuality? Especially when ALL the evidence, (not some, not selective parts, but ALL) suggests that engaging in this lifestyle is self-destructive?
Would we do the same for drug addicts? Everyone is aware of the consequences of drug addiction…it eventually leads to premature death. It is utterly SELF-DESTRUCTIVE! Common sense leads us to the conclusion that if we loved the drug addict we would seek to rid them of the addiction, not ENABLE IT!
The propaganda regarding the homosexual lifestyle pushed by the media doesn’t match the reality of the data nor the personal accounts of MANY of the individuals engaged in the lifestyle. The propagandists actually ENABLE the self-destructive behavior all the while believing they’re “freeing” the homosexual from “prejudice”! So, rather than helping, they’re speeding the homosexual to destruction!
And to speak to your “burping” comment, A LOT of the data on homosexuality comes from HOMOSEXUAL SOURCES! or the Center for Disease Control!, so talk to THEM about the “burping” I don’t have time for willful ignorance.

Their immune systems were ravaged and “no one” knew why. The CDC and Pasteur Institute in France (both say they were first) came up with Acquired Immunological Deficiency Virus, a very generic term to describe the disease in it‘s terminal stages but in the early stages before one gets sick it’s Human Immunological Deficiency Virus. Many people are walking around with HIV at this very moment and do not know it. The virus proliferates in semen and is also very high in the blood. It is a weak virus and lives only minutes outside the host. Gay males get it by having anal intercourse through usually chronic exposures. It would be rare for someone to get HIV from a one time exposure but it could happen. Many people died in the 80′s from not even knowing how through blood transfusions, girlfriends and wives got it from promiscuous husbands that were usually bisexual or IV drug users and many children were born with HIV and died. Anyone who received a blood transfusion was at a very high risk because gay males donated blood (not anymore). Gay men are “directly” responsible for millions of deaths w

But unfortunately….homosexual lobby groups lobbied to remove homosexuality from the APA’s (American Psychiatric Assoc) list of psychological disorders in the seventies so the help these people should be getting…they’re not getting..thanks to liberalism again. Can you imagine the inroads that could have been made on addressing homosexuality had social lobby groups left the researchers alone? Perhaps homosexuals could live longer (barring the high incidence of HIV, syphillis and gonorrhea of course) and the suicide rate lower among them? If only liberals stayed out of it and didn‘t pretend there’s nothing wrong with being a homosexual..when in fact..it’s an aberrant state of mind for the human species.

One room mate alerted the other that he was to have a date that night and wanted privacy. Well the other guy placed a hidden mini camera up and filmed his buddies date. When he retrieved the video, low and behold he found out that his room mate had a date with a man. When confronted, the gay room mate promptly ran out and jumped off a bridge killing himself. My observation is this, if being a practicing homosexual is not wrong, why kill yourself when exposed. Had it been a film with a young college man having his way with a co-ed there would have been high fives all around and a pat on the back by the mans friends.

As far as homosexuals possibly suffering from depression more often – who knows, but that would actually make sense. If the feelings you have and the person you romantically love more than anyone in the world was considered taboo, wrong and unnatural by many in society, I’m sure it would lead you to depression as well (not to mention bitterness, anger and resentment. No, not excusing those feelings and actions – just simply pointing out the fact how loving them through Christ is that much more important).
Many who suffer from depression also try to mask their pain through alcohol and drugs. I know quite a few who suffer from depression – most of them are straight and one bisexual who does NOT participate in any gay relationships (in his words – his relationship with Christ is more important. Though our friendship will remain regardless). Although none abuse any substances, I can very well see how that could very easily come into play.

Posted on August 1, 2012 at 6:01pmHomosexuals are bigots. The Left, for the most part, are bigots. Hoping someone chokes and dies is just evil. The Right has its share of bigots, too – just read people’s comments on here. I believe conservatives have the answer but this “I’m saved cuz I accept Jesus into my heart“ bs and ”the earth is only 7000 yrs old” bs shows me that the right has a lot of close-minded people.

Posted on August 1, 2012 at 5:43pmIn one of the several Asheville, N.C. locations, the enormous crowd sang “God Bless America” and broke into applause. Our wait in line was about an hour or a little more, with four or more working lines. Service was courteous, friends were made while we stood in lines, tables were left spotless. It was awesome to be part of America restoring itself. Thank you for the opportunity.
GOD BLESS AMERICA, AMERICANS, CHICK-FIL-A and all who participated today.

Posted on August 1, 2012 at 6:36pmI am in Corona/Norco, CA and I wondered what type of turnout there would be. Went to ChickFila around 1:30pm and it was packed and a line around the building and vehicles in the drive through were all the way out of the shopping center and into the street leading in. It stayed that way. It took an hour to get food. No body cared. It was great, everyone was talking about the need to vote in November and take back our country. I also walked the lines while waiting for food telling everyone to make sure they came back on Friday to support ChickFila against the LGBT’s who want to hold a Kiss-In. Most had not heard of that and all said they would be back. I urge everyone who is going to ChickFila talk to everyone there and tell them this and tell them to tell everyone they know. Friday is just as important as today and all I talked with agreed…We are coming to support ChickFila and pray as the Spirit leads

If we are to survive as a nation, obama must be removed from power.

Posted on August 1, 2012 at 5:48pmFreedom of speech is the big so what! A man states his beliefs and the government wants to ruin a business. That’s what. Are you next? I find your ambivalence to be offensive. I will not cower before the government and keep my mouth shut. Apparently you just don’t give a sh**.

Posted on August 1, 2012 at 5:53pmIt’s called “jamming”….it’s a term coined by homosexuals to silence opposition to their cause. You can learn more about this here:

Posted on August 1, 2012 at 6:33pm(1) Desensitization, (2) Jamming, and (3) Conversion.
You have no idea how much it sucks to have your worst paranoia of concern sitting in front of you on screen… just imagine the levels that MSM has manipulated this system and brainwashed our countrymen….
And for what?… Tolerance? Destroy everything so everyone can get along?…
And what history taught us? Oh thats right the only people who ever used these tactics are nazis, socalists and communists. Good thing we have no one that thinks like them around huh?
History repeats and when this PAWNS plan fails for the “bigger plan” the overseeing planner will just point to the ones that they just defeated and war with them instead… weaken the strong, eliminate or shrink their number, then take over…
If China walks in 30 years from now and claims US theirs with no resistance… you KNOW these bleeding heart PC freaks will look at you straight in the eye and say “HEY! It wasn’t MY fault!”

Posted on August 1, 2012 at 7:59pmJAMMING actually sounds like something they do to each other to make us feel sorry for their constipation and sore throats. Rahm and his political buddies are probably feeling sick about today’s outcome and are probably going to go out with each other jamming to make us feel sorry for them. Just give them some ExLax, whiskey, and butter and tell them to use the butter appropriately with each other out of the public’s sight.

Posted on August 1, 2012 at 11:09pmIf their methods worked, and they had full support of the populace, there would have been no lines. Their plan backfired, and the reaction is a mix of hate and disinformation trying to prove to us that we are wrong, biased, and hateful.
Report Post »The whole issue here is not fairness tolerance or diversity, it is about what kind of culture do we want to have.
It is our nation that is at stake, She is under attack from within and without.
The lines today prove that we outnumber them.As much of a mess that the traffic was, it was handled efficiently and the crowd was civil, polite and a lot of amazed smiles. We were all thinking the same thing: We are not alone, and We OUTNUMBER THEM.

Thank you for posting that link. I have saved it for future use.
I can see how that has worked in so many people around me. But now, to be honest, the more others are voicing their opposition to this ‘movement’ and in favor for what is morally right, some are starting to wake up. They realize their first reactions were correct and that they are not alone.
Not one of the three tactics has worked on me. I’m not tooting my horn because the sole reason I could come up with is that God has removed the blinders from my eyes. I recognize the bs. And I’m not afraid of being called names or going against the so-called norm. Right is right. It is sad to see how many people have been hustled, but I am not going to follow along so I can consider myself one of the crowd.
But dang, it is chilling to see this in print.
