Chris Christie Addresses Columnists Who Say He’s Too Fat to Be President

Christie Address

Since barreling onto the national the scene in 2009 by unseating incumbent New Jersey Democratic Governor Jon Corzine, weight has always been bearing down on the public image of Chris Christie. The issue came up once again  when the larger than the life politico was speaking at an event in Washington Monday hosted by the Washington Post and Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Governor Christie was one of seven recipients of the Top American Leader award. In addition to sharing his insights on leadership philosophy and offering blunt opinions of leaders in Washington, the Post reports that Christie’s weight became a subject once again.

Christie told moderator Mary Jordan that columnists, some of which write for the Post, are “idiotic” to say he’s too overweight to be president. Speaking of commentators‘ open criticism of Christie’s physically fitness and allusions that it means that “he’s undisciplined,” Christie said it is still very much an issue in this country and “It is one of those last remaining vestiges of prejudice and stupidity.” Listen to Christie address comments made about his weight by “allegedly respected columnists:”

Obama is too stupid to be President, he can’t talk from the heart (he needs the teleprompter), he has zero experience, no one knows his real background, he doesn’t understand economics, he’s a racist, he’s not any kind of a leader, he’s never owned a business, he’s associated with communist radicals, he IS a communist radical and he’s a douche bag.

Plus, Nancy Pelosi’s ugly mug causes mass erectile dysfunction among men.

      Any more questions?

Question is: How did I deduce just by looking at Christie’s picture that he is for amnesty for illegals?

Answer: When he sits at the kitchen table eating enough food to feed ten men, he knows it would take an army in the field to keep up with his grotesque passion.

This is about the tenth article I’ve read in the last year about Christie talking about his weight, comments from the media about it, and so on.

It‘s not his weight that’ll keep him from being president…it’s his lack of guts to answer the call. Like Coulter said, “I think if we don’t run Christie, Romney will get the nomination and we’ll have another 4 years of Obama.”

Thanks Chrisitie…I won’t be voting for you in 2016 or 2020 either.

Saint Peter was minding the Pearly Gates when forty people from New York City showed up.
Never having seen anyone from the Big Apple at heaven’s door, Saint Peter said he would have to check with God himself.
After hearing the news, God instructed him to admit the ten most virtuous people from the group.
A few seconds later, Saint Peter returned to God breathless and said, “They’re gone!”
“What? All of the New Yorkers are gone?” asked God.
“No!” replied Saint Peter, “The Pearly Gates!”

      That’s a New York minute.

JFK had to deal with the Catholic thing. (Rommney is facing the Mormon thing). Andrew Jackson was one of the first to deal with the Divorce thing…
Clinton binged…but no matter what his weight, he still got his jollies in Our Nation‘s Oval Office now didn’t he???
A very unscientific observation is this. I’d rather have a well fed person in charge of ANY Public Office rather than a Micro-Managing Starved brain cell person (gee, Pelosi ring a bell?)
Honestly, if a person’s weight is a prerequisit for holding Public Office-there are way too many people with way too much time on their hands.

It’s the big guys who are gems. They don’t give you that panicked look if you order more than a salad and a water (with lemon). They already got the $$$ to actually BUY the food. They don’t give you grief if you would prefer to NOT walk up 8 flights of stairs (in heels) because it will give MY calves a workout. Big guys will let you be you, give you all the space you need, but By God, if someone messes with you? It’s the big guys that will protect you!

So, as a Nation would I prefer some tightazz opinionated small man syndrome weasle?

I agree with your statement and would like to add that women very often vote for the best looking man in the race. Pathetic, but true. And if Hillary runs they will vote for her.. I have asked so many women why they voted for Obama and they all fessed up it was his looks and his charm. I asked the same women if they would vote for Hillary rather than a republican and they all said ” Yes.” They think that she is intelligent, knows foreign policies and would represent women and their rights. I asked if they knew her positions on the economy, immigration, Israel, our dependency on foreign oil, and socialism. I asked them if they knew that she was a Progressive. None had ever heard of the Progressives or what they are. They had no clue. These women hold good jobs, are considered middle class, ( their household income is approximently 125,000 dollars) and have small children. Most of them said that they only read the news paper and watch CNN occassionally. They think The Tea Party movement is crazy, FOX news is evil, Glenn Beck is a joke, and the Ows are patriots. They read the Tabloids and record The View and are huge Oprah fans. They think that I am a nut case and wasting my time worring about the future of our country. They all proudly announce that they are good citizens and vote. So that tells me that until hard times hit them, they won’t bother to take the time to educate themselves.

Christie has the brains to be president, but my concern would be that he could have a heart attack, because he is not just slightly overweight, he is morbidly obese. As for Ginrich saying that Reagan was just and actor or acted with chimpanzees, he is an idiot. Reagan had a degree in economics, and he was at the top of his class. Also, he was governor of California. He had the credentials to be President of the USA, unlike Ginrich, who is nothing more than a career politician. I was going to vote for Ginrich, but there are some prejudices on his part, and a huge ego that has concerned me so much, I may look at Bachman or Santoro. Sorry if I mistype names. Gingrich Campaign Fails To Qualify For Missouri Ballot

According to the Missouri Secretary of State’s office, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich failed to file the appropriate paperwork to qualify for the state’s primary. As a result, Gingrich’s name will not appear on the ballot on Feb. 7, 2012. Many claim this is a sign of the campaign’s structural problems and organizational deficiencies, while Gingrich claims that he chose to deliberately miss the primary in the Show Me State.
      http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/…07WO_blog.html

Another sign is the papers he filed in New Hampshire. His papers were sloppily written in pen and he fell 13 short of the required 40 delegates.
