Chris Matthews ‘Makes Fun’ of Arianna Huffington Over Stewart Rally

Want a recipe for some great television? Here’s a suggestion:

Take one part liberal MSNBC host. Add one part liberal Huffington Post founder. Throw in a pinch of media critique, mix it all in together and watch it boil over.

That’s what happened yesterday when Chris Matthews and Arianna Huffington went head-to-head over Jon Stewart’s weekend rally critique of cable news.

The result was Matthews mocking Huffington while she condescendingly gave him an apparent lesson in journalism. “Listen, you can make fun of me,” Huffington said at one point. To which Matthews replied emphatically, “I am.” The cold sarcasm permeated the entire segment, with Matthews chiding Huffington for taking Stewart’s position.

By the way, you might also want to add a dash of finger pointing and a Jon-Stewart-is-like-Thomas-Jefferson comparison. Now you have all the ingredients:

As a side note, Keith Olbermann was upset with Stewart’s comments as well.

What she means is “Fox, Glenn Beck, Palin, OReilly” need to stop speaking. But Media Matters, MSM, MSNBC can say anything they want.

The brilliance of Glenn is he realized all you had to do is let them speak for themselves. Show the juxtaposition of their ideas/images versus us.

She wants to control what the media delivers, we have to be nice, nice people. Well people have opinions and they are allowed to express them. I really don’t get why they whine so much they have the media we have one small corner a few radio stations, Fox news and the Blaze. Basically their problem is that the truth has a bit more volume to it you can whisper the truth and it will hit someones ears. They scream and yell and it doesn’t stick because you have to keep feeding lies and then it becomes saturated. There point of view has saturated the American landscape with a sticky slugged and the truth is cleaning it up.

PEOPLE are looking for the truth and information which we DON’T get from MSM.. and sometimes not even from other sites.. PEOPLE want to know what bills their reps are voting on.. what bills were introduced and who wrote them.. what was added to an existing bill.. the name calling is not all that important what they are planning to do or how they are going to vote IS..

These three represent the concept of modern liberalism’s dependence on the perpetual beginning of the end is always near. This rhetorical weaponry though, is always followed by new beginnings, “hope and change,” as we are well aware. And know, in this latest stunt, these three, their ignorance of their own professional environment is far too deliberate in some cases while in others their ignorance is just plain true. But that’s very concerning because they have deep rooted beliefs that dictate their ill and gross actions against us.

Take notice that Mathews’ recent attempts at being the reasoned moderate voice of the left are far too deliberate and convenient. But together, these three, as they professionally feign benevolence in unison, are openly dangerous to the pursuit of truth, their obligation to their audience as the ultimate purity of journalism. This is fully demonstrated by the unknown junior liberal throwing out-of-context historical grenades: He said to Huffington, as she presented a position in support of Stewart’s calling for moderation in the media, “The founding fathers were the most ugly bitter vindictive politicians that we have ever seen.”

In his response to Huffington, what was his point other than to rationalize and justify liberal behaviors?

But understand how contradicting that this is coming from liberals, media liberals, calling for moderation in the media. This exchange is a ploy to reposition the Democratic Party, the liberal media, as not being radical, at least not as much as the Obama liberals have demonstrated them to be. But again, this is a ploy to hide their overreaching and gross violations against the people they serve. To simply demonstrate this contradiction all we have to do is look to how the liberal media had conducted themselves during the eight Bush administration years and then the build up to Obama, his launching and now his descent for a soft landing. It’s all about positioning and transitioning.

And in that, we know that the liberal media has to do this to survive; it’s a marketing ploy and it works. They’ve been riding this methodology since Martin Van Buren created the Democratic Party on a foundation of deceptions back in 1820. And Van Buren, keep in the mind, as the originator of the Democratic Party, was masterful with his use of the media against his republican opponents. He controlled the media to ensure that the issue of slavery became politically incorrect. No one was allowed to speak of it because the dialogue that would result would destroy the purpose of his creating the party in the first place: Power. He had to bury the issue because it was too politically complex to deal with; and with the help of the liberal media he buried it, for a while. But think of the magnitude of this, of the supporting lies that have been kept alive for generations upon generations.

And yes, political correctness has been around for a long time, or rather the manipulation of it. But in doing this, controlling the media, if we trace history back truthfully, we will find that these Democratic deceptions were purposely carried out to prolong the environment of slavery, pure and simple. Yet, this is not how contemporary society thinks of the Democratic Party. In fact, just as Mathews is doing here with this current issue of setting things up, positioning to bend the logic of blame away from themselves, Democrats have been doing this for almost two hundred years. Society still believes that it is Republican ideals that did the dirty deeds of prolonging slavery when in fact it was the opposite.

What we can expect out of this latest ploy, one that would make Martin Van Buren very proud, is the Republicans are to blame for the current media environment that liberal media, the Democratic Party has actually created, has over heated. In other words, what was built on a foundation of lies one hundred and ninety years ago is still standing rationalizing itself upward like the world’s greatest assembly of pathological liars ever assembled to write the scripts of a civilization, of a society and a culture . . . of its future, it’s present and its past.

Stay vigilant; censorship is around the corner.

I have to agree in that the lines have been drawn, and people are choosing their side daily if they have not already. If we don’t unite soon we are heading for a civil war. The fact is that many, including myself, cannot stand liberals and their ilk (communists, etc.) I would just as soon they didn’t exist, or give them a portion of land to congregate and build their own liberal system of government. Let’s split the country and have the liberals live on one side and the sane people live on the other. We will quickly see who will prosper and who will fail.
