Hey Chris, let me tell you something you push us here in Texas to much, whether or not if we can secede from the union or not we will regardless of what you or any other left wing socialist thinks. Also how about you worry about your own damn foolish self and quit attacking us Texans on how we dress as the phrase so eloquently says “Don’t Mess With Texas”!

Good point riffraff! I am wondering though, #1 why would chris matthews thinks that we are full of him? We all know that his tingling leg makes him follow after the democrat jackass’s, and as they pass they raise up there tail and eliminate matthews right on the ground. That also explains why he and his opinions stink so much.

The best part of Chris Matthews ran down his daddies leg. At least all the brains did. No matter how low Rick Perry is or is not, he still miles above Chris Matthews. If Chris Matthews ever had an original thought. It was because someone gave it to him. He‘s just lucky that he didn’t lose it before he got on air. I wouldn’t call Chris Matthews UGLY but as I heard it UGLY did kick him out of the house.

WOW! I can’t believe some of these POSTS. I’m totally with Rush on this one…….He and I could care less if Elmer Fudd runs against o-loser. Man, I can’t take one more day of o-loser with one of his arrogant, ignorant, self-absorbing speeches, let alone any more of his marxists policies. Look at the trouble we are in now……imagine another 4 years with all his vacations on our dime and mooooooochelle running around in all different countries eating herself into fat-hell, while she dishes out our dinners of sprouts. Let alone listening to o-loser…….UH, UH, UH, UH, UH, UH, UH, UH…..on and on. Blaming Republicans for killing old people, starving children. Lie after lie after lie. Stop already…..I can’t take him any longer.

Come on folks, don’t be so cruel to poor ole Chrisie, he just hasn’t had the advantage you guys have, growing up, learning to be self-sufficient. Really I think we need to check out the area he lives in and then see if maybe the US Department of Natural Resources do a head count, maybe he has been lacking in the finer amenities; after all, if they restock the west with coyotes, & bears, & mountain lions, maybe he needs a chance to come down and visit with your Side Winders that make that little rattley noise. He’d develope horse sense, and it would help him appreciate the environment more, (Sorry, the kids are watching “Walker TX Ranger” on video, and these were some of his techniques to get bad guys attention.) It isn’t something anyone should do, but would make a “Heckuva Reality Show, wouldn’t it?

THE AMERICAN PEOPLE UNDERSTAND AND GET IT. THEY SPOKE IN 2010. THEY SPOKE AGAIN IN WISCONSIN, AGAINST ALL THE UNION MONEY FROM AROUND THE COUNTRY. AND THEY WILL SPEAK AGAIN IN 2012. OBAMA BY THEN WILL HAVE HIS FAVORITE GOLF COURSES, HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL HAVE SEEN THE WORLD ON OUR TAX DOLLARS, AND IF HE REALLY LOVES SOCIALISM, HE CAN MOVE. THIS IS A DEMOCRACY. G=D BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. A COUNTRY WHERE THE PRESIDENT DOES NOT CREATE CLASS WARFARE. WHERE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT TRY TO CONTROL OUR LIVES AND MAKE US SLAVES TO IT. ABRAHAM LINCOLN SOLVED THAT A LONG TIME AGO. Obama has a terrible record on the economy. Buch inherited a recession from Clinton, but didn’t point fingers, he understood business cycles. Texas rocks and I wish I lived there. I have friends in Texas and never hesitate to go there when given the chance. Oh sure, Texas has its problems, largely the result of liberal politics forcing immigration, etc., but the problems Texas has are not self-made—they are created by the Federal Government, not Texans. Compared to other states, Texas has no problems.

The bottom line is it is people like Chris Matthews who have destroyed this country. It is ironic that Chris Matthews would chastise “real” Americans and desparage their true “American” culture but will never say anything about other cultures. Bottom line is if you are a white male or share any white male American values, Chris Matthews and his dishonest thugs at MSNBC/NBC hate you.

Want to talk about ignorance? If it wasn’t for real true blooded Americans like Texans, Chris Matthews would not live in a free country to spew his vitriol and hatred. I wish Chris Matthews would be caught off-guard one day and be in the wrong place at the right time and get a little street justice. This guy along with his other liberal elite dishonest New York thugs are the antithesis of what our country stands for and should be thrown out. I know violence and other actions against those you do not agree is rarely the solution to a problem, but in the case of Chris Matthews and the other thugs at MSNBC it really is the only solution.

I firmly agree with that comment. Rick Perry’s speeches about freedom and secession may sound appealing and morale-boosting, but when you look at how he governed Texas, he’s just another big-government, taxpayer money-wasting RINO, in addition to the fact that he’s a four-year member of Bilderberg, the clandestine globalist group.

Many conservatives were Democrats in Texas until the 1980s, when the Democratic party became hopelessly liberal. Phil Gramm was a Democrat, Rick Perry was a Democrat. Ronald Reagan, Michelle Bachman, and Trent Lott were all once conservative Democrats, but their party shifted too far left for them to stay. Texas has always been a conservative state, but like the rest of the conservative South, they were solidly Democratic until the 1970s or 1980s. If you think being a Texas Democrat in the 1980s disqualifies Rick Perry, then it also disqualifies Michelle Bachmann.

I have warned of Perry being a RHINO and someone who cannot be trusted. However, the comments some of you are making gets me concerned. We CANNOT just stay home because we don’t like the republican candidate. ANYONE who wins the pubs nomination MUST be supported in our effort to rid our nation of the Marxist, Communist in office now. We MUST make his dream of being a one-term president come true! Otherwise, we have NO CHANCE to recover what we lose as a result of BO in office for ANOTHER 4 years! History will tell you, once we lose our basic rights, we WILL NOT be able to regain them! Being disappointed with the pubs candidate should NEVER keep us from voting.

That being said; let us make SURE we put enough energy into a better candidate than Perry, the TRUE snake oil salesman! Bachmann, Cain are the best shots we have of turning this country back toward Constitutional forms of law. We MUST also take control of the Senate and maintain the House by enough votes to pass ANY de-funding bills presented without worry of crossover votes from the RHINO’s we CANNOT get out of Congress in this election. We MUST target McCain and other Progressive Republicans such as Boehner, etc. in the coming elections and rid this country of the Cancer it has.

I was once (along time ago) a dem until I discovered the TRUE nature of the “democratic party”, not stating all democrats but the “party” and so can other people, such as Rick Perry. I‘m from Oklahoma so I don’t know alot about the man but just because he was ONCE a dem doesn’t mean squat and besides that, that little tidbit is old, its long been out there in the news. Chris Matthews, on the other hand, better watch himself. Like I said being from Oklahoma and my mothers family IS from Texas, I can CATEGORICALLY tell you that his running down Texas as “ignorant” and such will NOT get him a nice welcome in The Lone Star State, and I say to the Texas folks, go for it. Now they ARE known for being very very polite and welcoming but rile those folks up and WATCH OUT because you have stirred up a hornets nest that WILL NOT STOP until you are stung so badly that you are BEGGING to be strung up on one of their fine tall trees. What bothers Matthews is that Governor Perry means what he says and will follow through. People with real ideals whose actions are based on those ideals (free choice, freedom of action, personal responsibility, to name but a few) scare the Matthews crowd because they know that Gov. @starspangled– yes, i’ve lived in Texas for 17 years, and Perry does NOT live like a king. The Texas Governor’s mansion was torched by a lunatic a couple of years ago and the state rented another mansion in Austin for the Governor to live in while the state-owned mansion was being rebuilt. Perry is a small-town guy with small-town values, not a high-roller. He has not been soft on illegal immigrants. He mobilized the Texas Guard and put them on the border and has been the most vocal governor about the need to secure the border. He just didn’t agree with the Arizona plan because he saw some weaknesses.

@FB274 — Until 1973, Texas A&M was indeed a military school. It was all male and every student had to belong to the Corps of Cadets. In 1973 they started allowing women and dropped the requirement to belong to the Corps. Your relatives who went there are wrong.

      Star Spangled….

First, I’m not a huge Perry fan, but he‘s 1000x’s better than Obama!

That said, you have been given the typical spin…

Immigration is a VERY complex issue in TX. Most illegals are hard-working, lovely people that do all the grunt work – build houses in our heat, build our businesses, clean our dishes, mow are yards, etc. So, we want them to stay. The ones that ARE trouble, aren’t working! Everyone knows the difference. Perry did try to push through a major highway because it would bring jobs to Texas. However, the outcry was huge because it would also bring more immigrants. It was a hotly debated issue with pros/cons on both sides. It was not as simple an issue as they state.

Rich living? Really? What a joke! He lives like every other Texas Governor. We live large in Texas. Everything is done with passion. He doesn’t live or dress differently than most business people that make a decent living in TX. There will be those that complain, the one’s without a degree or a good job. However, in TX they HAD the opportunity to go to college and get a decent job – so the problem is self-inflicted. Colleges were cheap here for years. I know, I worked and paid my way through as did my husband and friends.

You will hear a lot on Perry, some true, some not. Most blown out of proportion, especially by liberals and Yankees that are jealous of how we live down here. You will also hear a lot of negativism from Texas haters. God bless them, their jealou

Texas A&M has been a military school for years and was all-male and had compulsory military corps until recent times. It not only has a proud and extensive military tradition but is by no means only an “agriculture” school. My daughter had a physics internship there in high school and they were doing very cutting-edge research. She won both the Houston and state science fairs in physics with her project.

Idiots like Matthews who never get out of their insular bigoted Manhattan and DC worlds have no clue about the common-sense accomplished business and scientific and military and agricultural and cultural worlds in addition to the many small business people who make Texas such a successful place and understand how economics functions to help everyone. Didn’t know it took a Governor to go dig wells or divert water to the area. Had something been able to be done about the drought, I’m sure he would have done it already. When you guys have excessive rain, build some water tanks. Duh? Nothing he could have done outside of bringing tankers full of water from the flooded zones last spring. He has spoken out against using e-Verify which would deny illegals state government jobs.

2007 he said he was in support of “Open borders”……what conservative would support that?

He also said he was against building a border fence.

In 2006 he stated he was in favor of blanket amnesty in the form of a worker program.

Perry may be better than the Dis-organizer in Chief, but that is like saying a puddle of piss is more appetizing than raw sewage

Hate to tell you this, but when it comes to a DUI, EVERY STATE will take your blood by force if you refuse a “blow up toy” test.

If he did get the secession thing wrong from the constitution wrong (admit I didn’t know the part about them splitting into 6 parts was in it…is it?), is that a greater gaff than saying there’s 57 states, Mr. President? Pretty sure Chris Dungball was silent on that issue…something a thrid grader knows.

The Constitution of Texas does not say the state can secede. It does say the people have the right to change their form of government, so that could be interpreted as having the right to leave the United States. However, the lesson one must learn from the ‘uncivil war’ is that the President has the power to attack any state that tries, evenly peacefully, to leave the union. Perry might not be as conservative as some prefer, but the winner of the election MUST be able to attract the independents. Let’s win our nation back one step at a time.

… what doesn’t add up is Chris Matthews. What does add up is the Texas economy.

How in the hottest part of Hades does Chris Matthews still have a job. Are left wing “academicians” so moronic that the best they can do is trot out drunks and painted ladies to promote their immoral, and unethical positions?
