Many decry the low achievement of the physical sciences and mathematics by our students. While these concerns are valid, nothing shows the deterioration of our educational system better than the results of this poll. One wonders, do they still teach American history in our schools?
George Washington commanded the Army that won our independence from England. He presided over the Convention that created the United States Constitution. Without his leadership, the adoption about Constitution would’ve been impossible.
Several times, during the Revolutionary war George Washington’s officers tried to crown him King but he refused. The United States owes its very existence to George Washington.
