Chris Matthews Snaps at RNC Chairman Over ‘Foreignization’ of Obama in Heated Segment

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus responded to Matthews’ attacks by taking some shots of his own during an impromptu press conference. See the RNC Chairman fire back in this exclusive video from TheBlaze.

On MSNBC’s Morning Joe today, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus sat in as a guest to talk about the Party convention in Tampa. MSNBC host Chris Matthews also joined the discussion. And an intense argument between the two broke out when the conversation turned to President Obama’s economic policies.
“I think Obama’s policies,” Priebus said, “have created a sense that for whatever reason, he looks for guidance — as far as health care is concerned, as far as spending is concerned, as far as the stimulus packages are concerned — he’s looking to Europe for guidance. That’s the problem.”
“Where do you get this from? This is insane.” Matthews jumped in. “You mean the fact that every president we’ve had has tried to offset the economic cycle with stimulus going the other direction is somehow European?
Priebus responded, “Look at the spending, he said he’d get the debt under control. Where are we at?”
“What’s this got to do with Europe and this foreignization of [Obama]?” Matthews said, completely straight-faced. “You’re playing that card again. What’s this European thing of yours?”
Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski jumped in. “Let’s work on tone,” she said.
Priebus indicated he was ready to let it go. “I’m not going to get into a shouting match with Chris,” he said.
Matthews responded, “Because you’re losing, that’s why.” Matthews continued, saying “everybody” in the GOP pushes the birther conspiracy that Obama wasn’t born in the United States and is thus ineligible to be president.
“Garbage,” Priebus said.
“It’s your garbage,” Matthews responded.
Following several seconds of uncomfortable silence, host Joe Scarborough tried to break the tension by bringing up tropical storm Isaac, which thwarted the GOP’s plans to start their convention today: “Boy, you know, you hear the hurricane, it might pass us completely and actually go up to New Orelans.”

Hmm, I was selected as a delegate in my hometown, and what I saw was an overwhelming vote for Romney by the public who voted in the primary; however almost all the people left after casting a ballot, so almost no-one saw that the people who stayed behind were Paulistinians who ignored the will of the people who voted and elected each other to the delegate slots at the national level. Strange, but that’s exactly what happened when Obama was elected, on top of all the fraud.
The problem with Ron Paul is 10% his policies, and 90% dishonesty by his supporters, who seem to subscribe to the lefty mantra that the end justifies the means- so screw the public and the rule of law.

We have this one shot to salvage what is left of our Constitution and our great Republic, and I refuse to let a bunch of scorned spoilsports convince me that ONE MAN (Ron Paul) is worth throwing it all away.
I will be voting for the Republican nominee in November, because I love Liberty. And I will not be coerced into allowing 4 more years of tyranny from the Oval Office out of some sort of perverse victim complex.
The longer this garbage continues, the less I like Ron Paul.
And, for the record, The Tea Party is a REAL grass roots movement, and neither Dick Armey nor Ron Paul have ANY claim to it. It is about restoring honor and principles to all branches and all levels of our decadent government. It is NOT about cheating the delegate process and subverting the will of the people.

I got an HD indoor antenna and I now get about 24 channels for free. It cost under $100 and it will pick up stations up to 50 miles away so….life is good! Why support a bunch of liberal crap “news” programming, MTV, etc…? Didn’t make sense to me; I can go rent or buy a DVD or subscribe to Netflix and save a ton. I haven’t missed the cable a bit…..

3) Show me his application for Financial Aid to Occidental.

Why he should be re-elected with unemployment consistently over 8% throughout his failure of a tenure. Bearing in mind of course that little Barry promised the unemployment wouldn’t go over 8% and that he’d halve the deficit by the end of his first term.
Tell me WINGNUT-O…did you believe him? And if you did..tell me what indicated he should be believed then and after not delivering he should be believed now.
He was a do-nothing senator from Chicago with no executive, business or military experience. Heck…he’s never even earned a check from the private sector..even as a lawyer he represented non-profits. Can you tell me why you believed him then, seen his failure to deliver now and want the nation to re-elect him?
