Christians United for Israel Issues Action Alerts Opposing Palestinian Bid for Statehood at UN

Christians United for Israel (CUFI) — the pro-Israel organization where, during a keynote address at its annual summit, Glenn Beck spoke passionately about the continued vilification of Jews and Israel declaring, “count me a Jew and come for me first” – has issued two important action alerts asking supporters to band together in an effort to squash the Palestinians’ bid for statehood at the UN General Assembly later this month.

The first CUFI action alert asks supporters to send an e-mail to the White House demanding President Obama keep his promise and oppose UN recognition of a Palestinian state. According to CUFI executive director David Brog, over 40,000 such e-mails have been sent to the White House thus far.

The second action alert, released earlier Tuesday, asks supporters to stand with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by sending him a message of support and solidarity. Netanyahu’s office has even created a dedicated e-mail account to accommodate what is expected to be a substantial influx of encouraging emails for the PM and Israel. According to CUFI, Netanyahu has already received over 26,000 emails and counting.

Have you ever noticed how the Palestinian Flag ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestinian_flag ) and the Flag of Jordan ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Jordan ) look alike ? I would swear there is already a Palestinian state in Jordan itself. This isn’t about statehood. Its about wiping the jews off the face of the world and taking their land. It they were serious about estiblishing a Palestinian state between Israel and Eygpt would be perfect. I’m willing to bet they would hear none of it.

I agree with Glen Beck’s statement: “count me a Jew and come for me first” , for when 9/11 happened I stated “We now are all Jews”. If the UN agrees on a Palestinian (terrorist run) state, then all her credibility will be in question and by her action would be the catharsis by which a regional war will occur. Since its inception the UN has made drastic mistakes such as allowing China a seat in the UN Security Council after China brutalized and annexed Tibet with no questions asked. It was the UN that procrastinated in the Cambodian crisis to the Sri Lankan civil war to the Iraqi war and now will do the most damage by recognizing a rogue terrorist Palestinian state, knowing fully well that Israel would be forced to take pre preemptive action in order to save herself.
It will eventually come to the US vote regarding the recognition of Palestine as a state, and by President Obama’s recent behavior towards Israel and Palestine, he will push for the recognition of that terrorist state, setting the ground for a regional and eventually a global war.

  I read the Bible in my daily devotions. During the Catholic mass, the Liturgy of the Word has a 1st Reading from the Old Testament, a Responsorila Psalm and a 2nd Reading from the New Testament.
  
  The focus of the mass is Communion which is represents the Last Supper of Jesus.
  
  The Episcopalian, Anglican and Lutheran churches follow a similar form of worship.
  
  The Liturgical Year for each of these faiths are based on the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. All of these faiths build their faith around Jesus.
  
  I fully agree that the Catholic, Episcopalian, Anglican and Lutheran churches are not fundamentalist churches which are solely bible based. Again, they are all Christ based.
  
  I continue to find it odd that fundamentalists always want to attack the Catholic Church. I personnally have never seen Catholics attack the beliefs and practices of fundamentalists. I seriously question the true faith in the Risen Christ when hatred of another Christian is present.

It would appear based on the rhetoric, that his entire faith is built upon being derogatory towards others. If that’s Christian behavior, I don’t want it. Christ was longsuffering, patient, loving.   @Audaciity of The Infidel – No, I didn’t know that. That‘s because it’s not true (as an American born from of a Polish Jew and a Jordanian Christian, I know something about all this). Yes, many Mizrahi Jews were treated harshly after 1948. But that WAS a response to something (doesn’t make it right, as the expulsion of countless Arabs from the their land wasn’t right). As a diehard secular individual, I think the formation of Israel was a mistake. The ideal of Israel in ones mind was always the most important part for a long time. But now that‘s it’s a reality, it changed many in a bad way. I don’t support the destruction of it in any fashion, though. And btw, if you’re trying to be serious, think – BNI is beyond frivolous. “Bring back the Crusades”? Yeah…

THE M.E. “conflict” could be solved in moments. Make Jordan, Syria, Lebanon GIVE BACK the land they took at the time of the ‘founding’ of the establishment of ISRAEL (again in this time) … These countries scoffed up about 7 times the size of what ISRAEL is TODAY. There would be so much more than enough land for the Palestinians it would be pathetic. ALSO from the $$$ we’ve sent them, we’ve sent enough for every Palestinian should be a millionaire…but ARAFAT stole all the money.

IT would be so easy to say to JORDAN/ SYRIA, LEBANON… open up the land. AND instead of our just GIVING $ to countries…we oversee the implementation of the money (roads, schools, hospitals)…or WE DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY MORE MONEY (we borrow it to give it anyway…how dumb is that?)

THE TRUTH IS that ALL of the ARABS want ISRAEL dismantled and they want the JEWS driven into the sea (killed) . WHICH IS really a SATANIC knee-jerk action, the CHRISTIAN ARABS don’t feel that way which leads us back to……(wait for it) ISLAM. THE SOLUTION is there. WE have to insist upon this: Jordan, Lebanon, Syria…give back the land. Palestinians: take it and leave Israel alone.

Some of us saw this a long time ago! Its been a long slog in recent history (say 63 years to be exact). The one thing in all of this is arafat had this deal decades ago and he walked away from it! the muslims walked not the Jews! There is a simple reason: Started day one!…muslims attacked Israel. Israel won the war. It’s when Israel gained all the territory then relenquished most of it! That war was meant to irradicate the Jews from off the face of the Earth and take back all the land disposing of the Israeli’s…as they went!
but God had a different plan you see, miracle after miracle, during that war and the one in June ‘67 when they(Israel) attained Jerusalem! The muslims have fulfilled not one of the accords they agreed to in all these years…NOT ONE!…But Israel in good faith has…for the most part. Can you feature agreeing and agreeing to the same accords with the muslims in good faith time after time, no one holds their (muslims) feet to the fire to insist they complete the old accords before futher discussions?
Evidently not but, the media paints such a different picture now don’t they?
The main thing to take from this: NO MAP in a muslim country has the state of Israel on it in all of these 63 years! and they have yet to act on any of the accords they agreed to in ALL of this time! I would say the muslims word is not worth spit! Where has the truth been in the news in all of this time? Shocking is an understatement!

I will stand up for Israel as long as I live. Israel won the war in 1967 against all odds and won, they don’t have to give back nothing. GOD gave all that land to the nation of Israel just read the Bible. There was never a palestinian state and there never will be. If Israel has to give back what they won in the war, than we should give the USA back to the Indains and ever nation that won a war give it all back. Just stupid low life Muslims.

Desire to be counted a Jew because someother guy desires himself to be contradicts scripture. God calls upon us to stand with Him, and Him only. Christians will then find themselves with other believers. When God call His people out of Egypt, he didn’t call on only Jewish people, He called on those that believe in Him. Blood on your door for passover wasn’t exclusive to Jewish people. All those who have faith in the Lord shall be saved.

  We’re all Gods people, read His words, and less of the words of people who desire your money. The Covenant is an example of what he’s capable of doing, his commitment. First, you must have faith in Him, then he will provide. For some people, it takes 40 years in the desert until they show their faith. Others die before before they show faith.

  @Hargisp – Please point out the scripture that specificly states that God discriminates only Jewish will be lead out of Egypt. Please point out the scripture that states ALL Jewish people left. Not All Jewish people believed then, all Jewish people don’t believe the Gospel now.

  Firstly, God did not ‘call’ his people out of Egypt, he sent Moses to ‘lead’ his people out of Egypt to the ‘Promised Land’. This is the land that was promised to the heirs of Jacob (Israel), son of Isaac, who received both the blessing and the birthright (which is the problem we have today which the descendants of Ishmael, the Arabs, who were promised ‘Kings and Kingdoms’).
  
  As for ‘paying’ to stand by Glenn, we are to offer both tithes and offerings………I gladly give both to enlighten those who cannot see what is happening in our world and because what belongs to God is God’s.

  @Georgia Mom 1977 – The Covanent was with Abraham, took only 4 generations for his family to get all screwed up. Joseph sold into slavery and given up for dead. What a bunch of loving people his family were. The History of Israel and how they came to be is an example of God’s ability for all of us when you have faith in Him. It’s not just a Jewish thing. It’s all about faith. How many people who experienced the exodus accually made it to the “Promis Land?” God had to remove His people, send them to Egypt so that he can isolate sinners and wipe them out, before returing His people back to the land, and only those who’s faith was in Him. They struggled to teach the faith.

Since BamBam hasn’t said ANYTHING about this, or in any defense of Israel says A LOT. It’s above his head and shows he will not defend Israel, our friend. What and if he says will be opposite of what he thinks/does. This cat’s predictable.
