Christie Confronts Heckler at Calif. Town Hall

The footage is getting familiar, but not old.

NJ. Gov. Chris Christie isn’t afraid to take on those who disagree with him, especially in public. He’s confronted teachers and union leaders before, and now he’s set his sites on a heckler in California.

While campaigning with Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman yesterday, Christie got in the face of a heckler who shouted that Whitman looked “like Arnold in a dress.”

That was enough for Christie:

H/T: Right Scoop

And the fine folks at The Right Scoop wrote to let us know that CNN has better quality version of the encounter. You may see a pre-roll ad on this one so we are leaving both versions in this post!

The entire eastern seaboard is already under a cap and trade system We have a democrat state legislature so as long as we have the lazy and the clueless living in the big cities we have little to no chance of getting rid of it. But we have a movement (taxpayerminute.org) that has started a crusade against it. We need to change minds about the global warming climate change lie and then we can make some headway. Christie is also not a real gun rights fan but I will leave that for another time.
No one is perfect but he is pretty close.
We need to get rid of the Fascist NY CITY mayor Bloomberg. He has been all over all of the states suing PA for their gun laws and passing legislation that tells people what to eat and drink. He is now trying to ban salt in restaurants. He is a lunatic and a little east coast Caesar. He usurped the law to run for a third term and belongs in jail but he has a lot of money– just like Jon Corzine (who bought a Senate Seat and one term as NJ Governor but couldn’t buy himself a second term– he was sleeping with the head of one of the unions: and I mean physically, not literally).

OK, I posted a link above that follows along with what you post here. Yes, we need to watch him carefully and continue to hold his feet to the fire.

HOWEVER, let me also say this. As a prosecutor he sent in the troops to take over my workplace so I’ve actually ridden the elevator with the guy. What I WILL say about him is that he is truly even-handed as a prosecutor. Once he got into the system he cleaned out both sides of the aisle so completely that the weasel who sent him in in the first place was screaming “but those are the good guys” (code for “one of our people”) by the time he was finished. I do admire that in him. If it is corrupt, he will act and destroy.

However, I don’t agree with much of what he is doing here in NJ.

It’s funny, I’ve been to three Tea Party events and the only time I ran into someone like you was in DC last year when I came across three little Liberal punks who were making obnoxious comments during one of the speeches. Being cowards, they were just talking loud enough for the people around them to hear, so I turned to them and said, “You idiots must not pay taxes.” You know what they did? They shut up and I think one of them peed his pants.

I agree with those who advise caution. ..And I WAS an early Chris Christie Should-Run-For-President conservative.. just like many of you sound here …..But, I see where we should all take a step back and find out what‘s at the heart of the man’s policy beliefs on the many issues facing us today. There have been enough questions raised and we have been burned by BOTH parties too many times to blindly follow ANYONE..no matter the R or D.

I like what I have seen in the public face that Christie has put forth to date. But until he takes a much more public stance on a wider variety of issues …I will calm down my support rhetoric.

DON’T blindly follow ANY R or D!!! ….That is how this country has weakened so drastically over the past decades. The progressives know this and they use it to their advantage.. ..Remember: Trust but VERIFY!

Yes I like the way he sounds, however, keep your mind open as time goes on and keep in mind that he was not originally the tea party pick (the state committee pushed the tea partier out when Christie threw his hat in the ring) and did not originally run as a fiscal conservative. It wasn’t until he began to slip in the polls that he began to run like a tea partier. We have been trying to hold his feet to the fire, but he hasn’t always held fast to the sound bites.

      Psychosis!

I live in NJ. Much like Obama, Cristie is good at making villians out of his advesaries. He’ beating the crap out of teacher unions, justifiably so, but he is leaving a trail of innocent blood while he does it. Additionally, he hasn’t cut back on any social spending in the Garden State, hasn’t joined in the suit to fight the Health Care Bill and has signed on to cap and trade in the tri-state area. He’ll have my confidence when he cuts back state aid to illegals, welfare recipients, wasteful social programs and the like. Right now he’s paying for it and attempting to balance the budget on a certain sector of NJ populace, i.e. public workers not all of which make big bucks.

Looks like he needs another slice of pie that’ll probably come from a defunded school cafeteria. By the way he hasn’t offered to slash his state salary, benefits and percs or that of the state legislature. Also, his bomastic performance comes from many years as a prosecutor where he had practice at prosecuting and occassionally persecuting individuals.

HE AIN‘T ALL YOU THINK HE’S CRACKED UP TO BE AND HE AIN‘T NO CONSERVATIVE AND THAT’S COMING FROM A NJ REPUB… one of the few left.

Cap and trade is the con game of the liberal/progressive elite trying to put themselves in control of world governance. It’s base solely on lies about climate change and is about redistribution of western wealth to third world dictators, and amassing power for those doing the distributing.

ANTIPATHIZER308WIN – FYI in NJ schools are funded mainly by local property taxes, poorer districts may get significant contributions from the state (Camden, Newark and other so-called ‘AbbottDistricts’). Teacher salaries and benefits amount to 2/3rds of my district budge, and if our district teachers agreed to the pay FREEZE we would have realized over $1M in savings. By penny-wise they have turned the parents/taxpayers against them. They will be lucky to see any raises in their next contract.

In my district, first year teachers earn $49K/yr and average 6-7% year-over-year raises. That’s for a teacher with a BA – graduate school studies or degrees increase that number. After 18 years a teacher can crack $100K/yr.

As Yoda might say “Underpaid they are not.”

Christie is the real thing. We need more like him. Not afraid to step in when its right. Hecklers need to be confronted and held accountable for their nonsense. Heckling is a tactic for morons.

I don’t know who came up with the term “Chris Christie porn” but it sure does fit. When ever I find a link regarding another Christie verbal response to some left wing idiot I have to click on it. This guy may be the next Ronald Reagan. I think we are all tired of politically correct responses like in a debate one guy says you are a liar! The response is usually “I’m sorry you feel that way but I welcome your opinion…….
B.S. Stand up and respond and get mad. Let the people know you are passionate and will defend yourself.

CC is the man … Instead of Check Norris jokes/facts I’m going to start tell Chris Christie jokes/facts. Like … when the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night he checks under his bed for Chris Christie. Or … Chris Christie can divide by zero. Chris Christie counted to infinity – twice. Chris Christie is what Willis was talkin’ about. And … when you open a can of whoop-ass, Chris Christie jumps out.

This is what legends are made of!

      rogue, Time Evolves Agenda
Thanks for the insight into Christie. I appreciate his style and obviously he gets something done. However, what, or Who, we need evolves daily, as do we and the candidates themselves. We are in the process of putting ourselves in charge of this Nation. Only after we start to express our true might, will we begin to adequately measure the needs, envision the opportunities and set the pace. Only then will temporal office holders recalculate their truest nature. It is difficult to mix diligence, patience and vigilance, yet such is the long course of valued leadership. Such is the lot we plot for ourselves. These are days to declare our principles and not pick leaders, beyond the necessities of this cycle.
