Christie Responds to White House Digging Up Dirt: I’m Still Not Running

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie took time yesterday to respond to the news that the White House is digging up dirt on him in case he runs for president. And his response is starting to sound like a broken record: “I’m not going to be the Republican candidate for president or vice president in 2012.”
Still, despite crushing the hopes (again) of droves of conservatives, he did bring up a good point. He’s happy that whoever the dirt diggers are, they are wasting time on researching him and not a viable candidate for the nomination. Touche, Chris, Touche:
Since this story is sure not to die, and there will be continued Christie speculation up until the day of the election, we’ll be sure to bring you future denials.

Posted on May 25, 2011 at 11:07amI know it would never happen but I would vote for such a person.
Any candidate that says listen up voters, when I was really young I smoked, I drank, had a good time,
never hurt anyone but myself, now that I am grown up and learned my lessons I am running for office, I will answer truthfully any and all questions of my life you might ask, good or bad.
Then the left could only tell the lies they are so good at.

Posted on May 25, 2011 at 10:04amIt‘s not that chris christie isn’t afraid to run, it’s because not only does he have his hands full in new jersey, but I some how get the impression from him, that the republican establishment isn’t what is all cracked up to be and he really wants nothing to do with it, even if he is a republican himself.
Report Post »I duely believe he is looking for a good leader himself, not him being the future POTUS. Sometimes when people hold public office, that they too are looking for someone to lead and he is one of them.
The main reason why chris christie and herman cain are in the spotlight, is because these two people say what they mean and mean what they say and do not mess around with anyones time or lie to them just so they can have thier own personal agendas met. It seems thier agendas are not thiers and they realize it’s not about them in a personal way, it’s about the country they love and the people they serve. That is why they are hot in the political scheme of things.
Yes, we the people need good people the likes of these two men and I think in the end, courage itself is going to be the number one contending attribute the american people are looking for in the end!

Posted on May 25, 2011 at 10:03amWhat Christie should do is publicly leave open the option of running even though he has no intention of doing so. This would keep the Obama administration, if they really are digging for dirt, spinning their wheels.
You really can’t believe anything that this administration says. They were elected on lies, and they continue to perpetrate lies.

Christie has a following and has done damage to the liberal’s cause in New Jersey. If the Republicans win in 2012, Christie could end up in a cabinet position. That’s all they need to make him a target.

Posted on May 25, 2011 at 7:51pmthe election will be fixed again
The Alaskan state law was specifically written to prevent write-in candidates, whom the establishment party leaders never thought would be them, from getting enough qualified votes to win any election. And, just as the law works against every “Average Joe” citizen candidate tired of “business as usual in Juneau,” the law worked against Murkowski, whose name isn’t as easy to spell as “Smith” or “Jones” when the voter has to write it in on the ballot. Thousands of Murkowski ballots are not valid based on Alaska law because the name Murkowski was misspelled. Yet, the establishment politicians counted them, arguing because “voter intent” was clear, it is not right to deny the voter his or her constitutional right to put into office the candidate he or she wants to represent them. Unless, of course, that representative is not an establishment candidate. Then, the name must be spelled correctly or the vote is invalid and will be discarded. In other words, in Alaska, voter intent is important as long as the voter intended to vote for the establishment candidate.
I stand with Ron Paul

For those of us who do our research on candidates ourselves and do not rely on the media to form our opinion for us—this is a waste of time. But then again….they are aiming for those who do not pay attention now or ever, right?
