NEW YORK (AP) — Christine O’Donnell has lost an election, but gained a book deal.
The Deleware Republican and Tea Party favorite, defeated in last month’s voting for the U.S. Senate, will offer her take on the campaign and her “frustrations” with the political process, St. Martin’s Press announced Thursday.
Publication is scheduled for August 2011.
Backed by Sarah Palin, O’Donnell was a surprise winner in the GOP primary, but was widely ridiculed for her lack of experience and for past comments, including statements about her youthful interest in witchcraft and her opposition to masturbation.

Posted on December 3, 2010 at 6:12amShe actually did a pretty good 1/2 hour video visiting with various people in DE during the campaign. I think she had trouble getting it aired in time for the election but I saw it somewhere. At times she has done good TV, or at least better than Speaker Pelosi. At times she seems self absorbed and naive, if only she were more cynical and deceitful she maybe could make it in DC.

Posted on December 3, 2010 at 1:05amIf Richard Dawkins is allowed to write a book, i don‘t see why not this girl can’t have one. Let these liberals understand that women are allowed to write books, not only Socialists and Atheists are allowed to practice free speech. ……………What i am sayin??… for one moment i thought Atheists can actually understand what free speech is, All they know is that the Constitution is a piece of cloath with big capital letters with the words ‘SEPARATION OF CHRISTIANITY AND STATE’ and thats it!, nothing else is writen on it, just that…. my bad.

Posted on December 3, 2010 at 12:13am@13thGenerationAmerican – It is hilarious when you post because of the obvious ignorance that you so proudly display every time you type something. There is one question I have for you though. Do you believe in the Founding Fathers that created this nation of ours? If so you are admitting by your name that you are as fake as a 3 1/2 dollar bill. Thomas Jefferson himself stated that what your gods and masters are doing to this country “in no way can call themselves an American”. Therefore if you follow your gods and masters then this statement by Thomas Jefferson applies to you as well. So do I believe your false claim to being an American or do I believe Thomas Jefferson when he stated that you are not. EVICT THE ENEMY(from within) OF OUR CONSTITUTION FROM OUR NATION.

FIRSTLY-to tick off Mr. Rove
secondly-because we like her, she’s bright and articulate, and head and shoulders above obummer
thirdly-because we happen to be in an awakening, and we the people have awoken, and relish, a fresh, honest, face, to replace the idiots currently in power….old guard stinky republicans as well as idiot pelosi types.
Fourth and last: to tick off mr. rove, mr. romney and dana the mouthpeice of rove baby.

Posted on December 3, 2010 at 3:07amI‘m not sure I’d classify her as a “politician”. I associate politicians with policy. She’s been defeated three times in a row. Generally the loser of a race doesn’t get to make policy. I’d classify her as a narcissistic activist.

Posted on December 2, 2010 at 9:10pmHate to say I agree with you but I do. I wanted her to win and I think she would have done an acceptable job, but would I buy a book she wrote? Probably not. There wouldn’t be anything she had to say that would be earth shattering enough for me to part with my money.

Posted on December 3, 2010 at 4:26amIt is probably going to blash the GOP as it should. The way she was treated by the GOP establishment was totally out of line. We need to get rid of everyone who’s been in DC more than two terms and Carl Rove needs to shut up period. When the general election rolls around it‘s time to get behind the candidate that was lawfully chosen by the people and it didn’t happen with Christine. It was shameful how she was treated, just shameful.
