Church Blasts Kill 12 and Injure 80 in Nigeria, Reportedly Sparking Christian Reprisal Attacks Against Muslims

LAGOS, Nigeria (The Blaze/AP) — A Nigerian Red Cross official said at least 12 people were killed and 80 wounded in bombings at three churches in the country’s north — attacks that reportedly prompted Christian youths to drag Muslims out of their cars and kill them in retaliation.

Andronicus Adeyemo said 10 people were killed and at least 29 wounded in a blast in the city of Kaduna Sunday morning. He said two people died and 51 were wounded in two church attacks in the nearby city of Zaria. He said the Zaria attacks occurred about 10 minutes apart in different parts of the city.

Churches have been increasingly targeted by violence in Nigeria, a nation of more than 160 million people almost equally divided between Muslims and Christians.

According to Reuters, Christian youths blocked a highway leading out of Kaduna, dragging Muslims out of their cars and killing them in apparent retribution.

“We had to return home when we saw them (the Christian youths) attacking. I saw many bodies on the ground but I don’t know how many were dead or just injured,” Kaduna resident Rafael Gwaza told Reuters.

Another witness said up to 20 people may have been killed.

“There were bodies everywhere on the ground,” Haruna Isah said.

An Easter Day blast in Kaduna killed at least 38 people. A Christmas Day suicide bombing of a Catholic church near Nigeria’s capital killed at least 44 people.

    Parasites.

ALL Temperate climate countries with water are first world.

All Tropics climate countries are third world.

You go squat on the ground in Nigeria, you get parasites.

Absolutely nothing to do with politics, race, religion, or colonial history. Minor factors.

Nigeria has the most explosive population growth of any country on earth. Ttribalism, religious persecution and starvation rule the day in this country where millions have died at the hands of their countrymen before and after their independence in 1960. If anyone in any of the governments that have ruled there really gave a damn, the problems could have been addressed but Nigeria is so overwhelmed with corruption they just go on killing each other- c’est la vie.

Protestants, Catholics, Coptics, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, Samaritans, Ba’Hai, Animists, all are at peace with each other. Global World Peace between the major religions after all these years…

Except for Islam, which is at War with every damned one of them.

Now, just what about that is complicated?

    ——————–

It’s the collapse of the Ottoman Empire.

Islam used to be the most tolerant and enlightened of the major religions, but the stagnation of the “Sick Old Man of Europe” froze it in the middle ages. And the Arabs weren’t allowed to rule themselves for 500 years, nothing quite like it in modern history. When the Christians set them free after WWI, they ran around like escaped slaves. We got the Bigoted Beverly Hillbillies in Saudi Arabia financing most of the mosques and schools across the planet, including here, and if you did the same thing there, they’d chop your head off. Tolerance isn’t being taught.

Yeah, there’s some pretty bad stuff in the Koran and Hadiths, but there’s plenty just as bad in the Torah/Talmud/Jewish Bible/Old Testament and even in spots, the New Testament. It could regain it’s previous glory for tolerance, it’s possible, the question is whether we have time as technology gives the bigots the ability to destroy.

It‘s sad that it’s coming to this. If all these muslims understand and respect is war then war is what we‘ll have to give them maybe then they’ll think twice when they read their satanic scriptures. If it‘s death they want then I’ll be happy to oblige them. Islam is not a religion. It is a form government that is radically different from anything we’ve ever known and no matter how much cr@p these liberal POS spew at us about tolerance and being open minded won’t change the fact there are only two kinds of muslims: those that have murdered and those that will once they become serious in believing in the quran. I will praying that the churches in nigerian will band together to form some kind of resistance force and hunt all of these b@st@rds down like the dogs they are.

Christians have a right to protect their families and Church. Satan lies to weak Christians and tells them they should be punching bags. God gave us freedom and we don’t have to give it away.

It would go a very long way for the “good” muslims to round up the islamic killers. Bring them to trial quickly and then execute them for these unspeakable crimes. But they don’t. This telegraphs to the Christians/Catholics that all muslims are ipso facto complicit with the killings given their silence. So, the passive muslims are just as guilty in their complacency. There is only one thing left to do… horde weapons, train constantly and organize groups like the Knights Templar and the Crusaders. Then, go Roman.

We must fight back because we each have a God-given right to live on this earth and believe in The Lord Jesus. Our main problem is that most churchs in America for decades have embraced a slippery form of liberalism through tolerance of antichristian sentiment which in turn makes us look weak and this weakness is repeling men from going to church. This is why good fathers are hard to find and mostly only mothers and their young children come to church.Simply put, churchs need to grow a pair so we have good strong men ready to fight for the gospel and our judeo-christian culture which is the foundation of our country.

Holy (added by Frederick I Barbarossa in 1254) Roman Empire 800ad-1806ad.

Charlemagne (Charles the Great, king of the Franks) was their first emperor crowned by Pope Leo III in 800 a.d. (Charlemagne removed the Lombards from Italy conquered the Saxons who were forcibly converted from Paganism) He pursued, during the European dark ages, the revival and preservation of art, literature and music through the existing structures of the Catholic Church.

The term “Byzantine” was not used until 1557 when a German historian used it in a published book title. Until then citizens of the empire used the term “Roman Empire” to describe themselves.

By the time Charlemagne took the throne in the West, The “Byzantines” in the East had embraced Greek culture while the Western “Holy” Roman empire embraced Roman culture. Despite the usual power grabbing and literal backstabbing the two were united at the time as “The Roman Empire” under the structure of the Catholic Church.

This is why (in part) still to this day most of Ukraine is Orthodox and uses a Cyrillic alphabet more similar to Greek, and the Poles are Catholic (Early German and Italian influence) and use a Roman Alphabet. But the distinction of “Byzantine” and “Holy Roman” was not made until later.

Credible Historians don’t, The first period of the Byzantine Empire, is politically still under heavy Roman influence, and they still embraced Theodosius, Leo I, Justinian and Tiberius. But that only lasted about 20 to 40 years after the fall of Rome.

In point of civilization, the Greeks were the predominant race in the Byzantine Empire. Even Latin had ceased to be the language in the Byzantine Empire with-in 100, years and was replaced by Greek.

By 726 AD Byzantine broke completely with the Catholic Church, thats where the Eastern Orthodox Church, came in to being……

You have taken on the egotistical view of History based upon the West being the Most Important… when it was the Eastern Roman Empire that was the Most Important… and it was always Orthodox… and Catholic did not exist until 800 ad and served Charlemagne as his Clergy, Clerks, and Administrators. Greek was the Language of the New Testament, of the Gospels, and of the Epistles. The Eastern Empire preserved all the places of Christ and built all the Churches.

The Fall of Rome, 476 ad, was the fall of Knowledge in the West… and people became Barbarians. Only with the fall of the Caliphate, in Spain, did knowedge of Scrolls come to West and generate Enlightenment. So, for about 600 years the West was Illiterate; The Dark Ages! And, only then did the Crusades bring back the Scrolls of Knowledge stored in Constantinople. So, the East saved the West from being Illiterate.

Oh yeah, the Eastern part of the Empire was the most important long before Rome fell. And it remained the most powerful military on earth for over 500 years after.

The made the mistake of letting the Christian Crusaders past the gates, and the Christian Crusaders sacked it and it’s power and wealth was broken, but the great walls stood against the Muslims until about the time of Columbus, when huge gunpower cannons finally defeated it.

“and Catholic did not exist until 800”

There has been a Roman Catholic Church since 311 AD.

I believe you are getting the confused with the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch & all the East, also knowen as Assyrian Orthodox Church,(Sister Churches, Eastern Orthodox Church and Greek Orthodox Church some similarities but their not the same ), Started in the year 47 AD, by the Apostle Peter, and the Disciples of Jesus Christ. And they still speak and write Aramaic (Syriac) the common language used in the time of Jesus Christ. This is the oldest Christian Religion in the World.

The Roman Catholic Church fled to Venice after the fall of Rome, and the Roman Catholic Church was tied to Ostrogoths, The Visigoths, and the Franks Kingdoms that destroyed the Roman Empire.

And yes I know about the “The Dark Ages” Civil War, plague, and invasion from the Hun’s…..
