Cindy Sheehan Announces to Crowd at Occupy Rose Bowl: ‘I Haven’t Paid My Income Taxes’ in Nearly Eight Years

Speaking at Occupy Rose Bowl, anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan announced before a crowd of protesters that she hasn’t paid her income taxes since her son, U.S. Army Specialist Casey Sheehan, was killed in Iraq in 2004. Sheehan went on to justify her tax evasion by stating that she would not fund “the crimes against humanity” she claims are perpetrated by the U.S. government and military.

It is safe to assume, however, that the IRS doesn’t care what her reasons are, and will likely be knocking on the activist’s door sometime in 2012.

      Why does that Sheehan woman look like Dana Carvey? Poor thing went nuts when her son lost his life in Iraq and has lost her husband when he decided that his wife no longer had any honor even for her own son’s last measure of devotion to a country she owes everything. But she has either forgotten or never knew that freedom is not free. The tree of liberty must be watered by the blood of patriots and tyrants, alike.

      All those that brag about Tax Evasion should be locked up immediately then audit all those in Congress and I believe they will find a few more. If I owe the Government money they will garnish my wages seize my bank account. Why are members of Congress exempt from garnishment ?

      I dont agree with funding abortion and paying for illegals etc. maybe all the conservatives (also known as those who actually make a living) quit paying our taxes. pretty hard for the irs to function when the chinese quit footing the bill. that being said all my liberal friends and family are the first ones looking for the tax “loopholes” on tax day. the very same loop holes they cant shut up about closing the rest of the 364 days of the year
