‘Clearly Failing’: Santorum, Paul, Bachmann React to Shocking GBTV Border Security Report

(Editor’s Note: This story has been updated and will continue to be as more campaigns respond to yesterday’s GBTV report on the current state of U.S. border security)

Yesterday, GBTV and the Blaze told you the truth about the U.S.-Mexico Border. You learned about the vicious terrorist violence routinely engaged in by the cartels, the links between drug barons and international Islamic militants, and the obstructionist policies of the Obama administration that prevent effective border enforcement.

Clearly, America’s work to secure its border is just beginning.

Due to the dire nature of the national security threats created by the current state of the border, The Blaze believes this information and the policy discussion it inspires must reach the highest levels of the U.S. government.

To that end, we sent the GBTV border story out to all the Republican presidential contenders (including some of those who have dropped out of the race) so that they can weigh in on the issue of securing U.S. borders.Rick Santorum Ron Paul and Michele Bachmann Comment on GBTV Border Security Story

Rick Santorum‘s camp gave a robust response to Glenn’s disturbing, unvarnished view of the threats coming across the border. Santorum was particularly struck by the Islamic terrorism connections to the cartel, and released this statement on it:

“For the past ten years, Iran and Syria, both designated state sponsors of terrorism, have not only developed close ties with the drug cartels and criminal states like Venezuela and Cuba, they have built ports, airports, military bases and military warehouses throughout our hemisphere. They have constructed a criminal, military and intelligence infrastructure in our back yard.”

Santorum’s statement did not stop with this critical discussion of Hezbollah ties. It went on to discuss operational and tactical details of this cartel-terrorist alliance, including that:

“There are series of sophisticated underground narcotunnels found at the U.S.-Mexico border that, according to congressional testimony, strongly resemble the types used by Hezbollah in Lebanon. Numerous public officials have discussed the fact that narcotraffickers and potential terrorists with Hezbollah tattoos are caught entering the U.S.”Rick Santorum Ron Paul and Michele Bachmann Comment on GBTV Border Security Story

Congressman Ron Paul and Congresswoman Michele Bachmann have also responded. And they’re upset about the border as well.

Paul’s official statement clearly shows he considers the border to be a critical security issue:

“Controlling our borders is one of the essential Constitutional functions of our government, and one in which we are clearly failing. It makes no sense to me that we pay more attention to the borders between Pakistan and Afghanistan than we do to our own borders here at home. If elected President, I would move to quickly end foreign nation building efforts and use many of the resources we waste playing world’s policemen to control our southern border. We cannot have a strong national defense without a secure border, and we must take decisive action.”

Rick Santorum Ron Paul and Michele Bachmann Comment on GBTV Border Security StoryCongresswoman Bachmann may no longer be in the GOP primary race, but she currently sits on the House Intelligence Committee. She responded by honing in on the links between cartels and international Islamic terror groups:

“I have long believed that our border problem is inextricably linked with international terrorism. Though many of the stories are not widely reported, we have definite reason to believe that terrorists are literally on America’s doorstep. We cannot afford to have a poorly protected border any longer. After all, we cannot truly have homeland security without having border security.”

In addition to these statements, The Blaze reached out to the Romney, Perry, and Gingrich campaigns for their reactions to the GBTV expose of what’s really happening at our southern border– and even more alarming, what could happen if the status quo continues.

This is NO JOKE….I had a very hard time last night to get this part of the program…I had to get out completely and start all over again. I missed over 30 min of the last hour of the program. I attempted to get in this morning and see the full hour…and had the same challenge. In diliberate…stubborn action I was able to get in and see the story..both times. I continually have …at times..in the last few weeks…frozen screen or complete shut-down of GBTV/Glenn Program I am able to go into other shows…other than GBTV…I have no problems. I am not on Cable or Wireless..straight internet connect. Are others having problems…??? The show was riveting..What was a total surprise is the N.Border Info. Do we now know why the W.H.does not want the fuel pipeline activity from Canada to Houston ? Working activity on it would harm the trafficking activity for whoever ? Thanks Again GBTV…Many Prayers for all of you and also for your focus guests !!! How long we are able to get you…don”t know…BUT Our Prayers are still with you all !!! GOD BLESS !!!

      You betcha.

I signed up for GBTV when it was first offered. However, I could not get a single archive or live show to play.

      Contacted GBTV customer support…….

And contacted GBTV customer support …….

      And contacted GBTV customer support………

The response (and lack thereof) was the most frustrating, and absolute worst, customer support experience I have ever had, with any company and for any product. Finally cancelled – and had to literally fight for a refund, not ‘granted’ untill I disputed the credit card bill.

I dearly miss Glen’s insights and dot-connecting, but the loss of stomach lining is just not worth it.

I’ve had similar problems to yours. Because of prior commitments, I often have to miss the morning GB program and experienced problems as well—yesterday it was going fine and then stopped. I’ve also tried to view the videos of the night time show and the video will not open—just get the dotted cirlce that keeps spinning! Unfortunately I paid my first 6 months and haven’t been able to take advantage of watching the shows or the reruns! So you are not alone!

Reports of problems of GBTV mirrors that of solving the border issue. Stall tactics in Security allows for many to give up on the resolution.

The Blaze approach on the subject of the border is influenced by his religious organization to reform policy to benefit their own “works”.

There isn’t a need to “Get Started” on reform. There’s overwhelming evidence that we need to “continue” current enforcement policies.

It’s global government, new world order, socialism, facism, whatever you want to call it — but it comes from United Nations Agenda 21 and involves BOTH Democrats and some Republicans.

Why didn’t Bush II close the border? Why doesn’t Obama close the border?
Simple: they want the same things.

Learn to recognize a PROGRESSIVE Republican like Gingrich, Santorum and Romney. Their voting records tell who they are.

I used to have a lot of trouble watching via ROKU (frequent loading) until I bought a 32GB microSD card for my ROKU XD. It was about $20 on ebay. That made a tremendous difference. You can get info on that at the ROKU support site.
Before I got the card I found that I could go to ‘My Channels’, and delete GBTV then add it back and that would fix the problem for a few days.

I get the 5 to 7 show o.k. Every once in a while I’ll get the spinning circle that never seems to stop. I click out of the web site, then re-enter and go through the initial loading and it works o.k. after that.

I’ve had to re-install my adobe flash player to my 64bit operating system, then re-install the NEexDef software to get the Beck feeds. A couple times, the same problems you seem to be encountering, were fixed by simply rebooting my computer. I have a nasty habit of just leaving my comp on all night or putting it into hibernate and going so long with out a reboot that many of my programs go quirky or freeze up. Visit the “about/faq” pages to get to this: http://web.gbtv.com/faq/index.jsp?content=nexdef_hd and other things that will help you determine if you are set up properly to begin with. Good luck.

I’m having very few problems. Perhaps it’s your Internet Service Provider. The player software and browser also can impede the live feed. I NEVER miss Glenn’s program. The information is too critical! This story is one example. I could hardly believe the images of limbless, headless bodies and scalped heads.
I was particularly shocked when Glenn’s guest mentioned that as of Oct 2011, they believe a weapon of mass destruction has now been smuggled across our southern border and is here in the U.S. Glenn was shocked also, and asked the guest to repeat himself. My next question, which Glenn did NOT ask, would have been, “What KIND of WMD?” Nuke, chemical, biological? The guest seemed to imply that it might be biological, since he soon quoted an Iranian source referring to a biological weapon that he said was already in the U.S. — anthrax. He said it could kill 300,000 people in a few hours.
Two weeks ago, I read a story that quoted an Iranian Ayatollah saying that Iran ALREADY has nukes NOW, and that the American President is too stupid to realize it!
All new technology innovations take time to get the kinks out. SInce I am having NO difficulty getting the signal, this suggests that the problems you folks are having are resident in 1) your ISP, 2) your player software (this has been the cause of my own problems at times, or 3) your browser software (I use Firefox, but have only had occasional problems). Best luck finding the problem!

I remain a subscriber thinking that all the money his company is making on “Blaze Enquirer” magazine pop-ups and IRS resolution scams he will eventually correct the problem.

      A few “housekeeping” comments here:

      1. If you on one the “end” of a high speed line, you may not have enough power coming from your cable company to carry a memory intensive signal. Talk to your cable company.

      2. If you are using DSL (phone company), DSL is “pretend” high speed, you will have difficulty with memory intensive transmission but they do seem to improve within the early minutes of a show.

      3. If you are using 4G, talk with your provider concerning its limits of carrying memory intensive programs.

      4. ROKU, get additional memory.

      5. Have enough RAM memory in your computer to handle these type of transmissions. Do NOT have multiple programs running at the same time. Walmart HP brand computers are notorious for using extra memory for programs that it keeps handy “in case you want to use them.” Shut everything else down. Have a computer with a processor that can handle this type of transmission.

      6. Periodically clean your cache (delete temporary internet files through your browser). Everytime you visit a site extra copies of those pages are kept in your computer’s memory and will take up so much space enjoying ESPN or GBTV becomes difficult to impossible.

      7. Demand attention if you need it and be sure to make GBTV aware of your problems. They can’t be fixed otherwise!

If your ISP is not providing at least 2 – 3 Mbps download speed, you will have difficulty with virtually any streaming video source. Upload speed is mostly irrelevant, I believe.

I DO however get MUCH better/faster download spooling etc when I’m actually plugged into my router rather than relying on a“wireless” signal on my laptop. Just a cheap Ethernet cable improves my speed a buttload.

To all having issues with streaming GBTV: It sounds as if most of you are experiencing an insufficient broadband connection. Go to speedtest.net and run a test during a time you notice the GBTV acting-up. If you are not getting near 5Mbps on the Download Speed, then you know that your connection speed is insufficient for good, consistent performance (never exiting the show). Obviously, higher than 5Mbps is going to be better – particularly if others in your household use the Net while you watch. I had to upgrade my parents’ broadband to a higher speed.

In their case, DSL works just fine. Also, check to see if you are getting the speed you are paying for as the Download Speed is generally how it is sold and you should be getting close to it (make sure nobody else is sucking it up in your household or by having unsecured wireless). The equipment is usually the same for the fastest speeds that Internet Service Provider sells, but your speed is electronically capped at what you pay for – you should see this reflected in the graph on speedtest (i.e. it should shoot up to full speed right away, stay there, then trail-off right at the end of the test).

Good luck because GBTV is the best online streaming I’ve ever seen yet. Yes, this includes HULU and YouTube and I’ve been doing this since the days of Compuserve and BBSs (a long time). Though I do prefer the ROKU XS (stick to wired connection if you have the option) for ease of use in the living room.

YES! I have had this trouble too. We have had to move a lot in recent months and every time we switch ISP‘s it’s a whole new odyssey getting Glenn’s show on GBTV to function properly. The radio program and certain archives seem to work okay but when it‘s his show I usually have to hold my breath for two hours hoping that it doesn’t freeze because if it does, it usually reverts back to the beginning and I can’t fast forward it either. That said- I find his information to be so enlightening that I hate to miss it, so it is worth the trouble. It airs at 3:00 my time- right when the kids are coming home from school so I can’t watch it live; I usually watch it before bed. And- we live maybe an hour from the Mexico border, here in AZ, so yesterday’s show was quite disturbing.

Glenn‘s death left us with a void so deep that time can’t quantify. I am a professional…. There are only so many hours each day….. I don’t have time to waste on research. The service Glenn provided was a condensed, one hour, that I could DVR and have a clear, unobstructed download of reality. Well, that is gone…. GBTV is a wast of my time….. even the attempt of adding a “news hour” is a loser…. So, I retreat back to Rush, Fox, and a few other sources in an attempt to find the truth…. And I thought it was just me! Whether it’s via the computer OR Roku, it’s constant buffering, making it impossible to watch. It’s happening at least 90% of the time.
I, too have contacted Support. Nothing helps. Check my internet speed at http://speakeasy.net/speedtest/ , tests great.
Many times I’ve considered cancelling. Certainly, not re-subscribing next time.

I’ve had GBTV since before the launch date. I have problems from time to time with the archive programming stopping and starting over from the beginning. It is annoying. But, I have an old Dell laptop probably from 2005, so I think I have it good.. I keep my flash player up to date and keep the computer “clean”. My computer at work is out of date too and I have minimal problems there as well. I would also say that GBTV is probably still working out the bugs and things will take time to to be sorted out.

GBTV is truly the BEST online streaming content experience that I have ever had. Our download speed on our cable modem is a constant 20 mbps. We watch on our IMac, IPad and on our ROKU XDS. Never have had a problem watching on our Apple products. However, last August when I first purchased the ROKU we would have trouble with the video occasionally stopping. I went to Best Buy and the tech geek their helped me realize that the cable that I was using to connect my ROKU to our TV was not capable of handling the bandwidth. I upgraded and purchased the best cable they sell. It’s made by Monster (think that I paid about $40) and it has been well worth it. No freezing video, awesome HD quality (even than our cable) .

I have the very same problems. Last night, I ended up unplugging my ROKU to reset it. The last 30 minutes of the show were jumbled. At one point, Glenn thanks us for watching, see you tomorrow and the next, David Barton is in the middle of a sentence. This went on for several minutes and then the show ended. Never did hear what everyone had to say. The crazy thing is that I had missed Glenn’s January 31st show about Soros. Yesterday, I watched the whole show with no problems at all. I often think he is being hacked. I too have contacted ROKU and GBTV. One day, I contacted GBTV three times and got three different responses on how to fix the problem. I hope The Blaze will forward these comments to someone who can fix this for us. I am a big fan but this is nerve racking enough to make me go back to radio just to hear the whole morning show. I guess I’ll have to watch the evening shows one week late to avoid interruptions.

I watch GBTV live everyday from 4 to 6 and then Real News from the Blaze after that on my laptop with a wireless connection. When the screen starts to freeze I click on the HD icon and take the resolution down a couple of notches. Although the picture is no longer in HD,it does clear up the problem.

We watch GBTV with Roku and it works fine with some rare glitches. On GBTV.com it is hard to get thru a whole program and if you try to start at the beginning, it will lock up a lot. It would be nice to have subtitles and a better fast forward in Roku. It would be nice to have any kind of fast forward on the internet.

This was an alarming show, particularly about the northern border which the environmentalist nuts are making very difficult to patrol.

To deal with some of the issues regarding GBTV’s random freezes and spinning reload pages, I’ll keep the Windows Task Manager active so I can track memory usage. Freezes and such can often be unstuck be grabbing the slider and moving it forwards or back some (then back to find your place) or, for a more radical solution, clicking the title bar and hitting F5 to refresh the page (be careful to remember where you were in the program in either case). If done more than a few times, you might find the nextdef process taking up more memory. This also happens when you pause or skip around a lot. Ending the nextdef process and restarting it (in the startup folder on my comp), and/or restarting firefox (task switching to the program while working on other things or loading up a bunch of tabs in the main window can cause firefox to bloat as well and interfere with the feed) gets me through most programs without much aggravation.

@Thatsitivehadenough – You CAN lower the quality of the resolution – Video quality control on the bottom of the GBTV daughter page – or for even less bandwidth, use mini view.

So simple that even a child can understand but not the lunatic blood thirsty Christian imbeciles on the Blaze. All they are concerned about is slaughtering Arab women and children for the Chosen in order to make Jesus happy I suppose. Yet they even go as far as to boo Dr. Paul for advocating the very same “Golden Rule” which Jesus encouraged us to live by in the SC debate.

Are there any decent Christians out there willing to confess to being deceived, repent of their wicked ways, and once again swear allegiance to the US Constitution and not just the candidate that promises to drop the most bombs upon your fellow man? lol

I seriously doubt it.. I believe most Christians are just like the teenage girl in Missouri today who was convicted of murdering her 9 yr old neighbor… She writes in her diary afterwards about what a rush it was to take life with her bare hands then says “enough for now I have to go to Church!!!!” lol

Thank you, Glenn, for bringing this ever-growing crisis to the attention of our current and former Republican presidential candidates!

I’ve been fighting against mass illegal immigration for years with groups such as Numbers and CAPS; and I’ve found plenty of good reading on the subject on sites such as American Patrol, One Old Vet, and the Minutemen.

One of our government’s most basic duties is to protect the American people from invasion. Clearly and for decades, our government, from both sides of the aisle, have failed us and put all of our lives at grave risk.

What happens along our porous southern border is quickly spreading throughout the rest of America, and We the People simply can no longer afford to allow our members of Congress to ignore this crisis.

The sooner, we secure our borders and enforce all of our immigration laws, the better!

One must place this comment in context with Paul’s consistent position, which is the fact that the welfare state and prohibition laws are the reason we have a border problem in the first place.

“I see the immigration problem as a consequence of our welfare state. We encourage people not to work here, but the welfare we offer the people who come–they get free medical care. They get free education. They bankrupt our hospitals. Our hospitals are closing. And it shouldn’t be rewarded. That means you don’t give them citizenship. You can’t solve this problem until you get rid of the welfare state, because in a healthy economy, immigrants wouldn’t be a threat to us.”

      http://www.issues2000.org/tx/Ron_Paul_Immigration.htm

Makes a lot more sense in light of this…eh?

Take away prohibition and the welfare state, and the problem pretty much takes care of itself.

As for terrorists coming across out borders, we have thousands of miles of sea front, and a northern border that nobody seems to worry about, and if a commited group was bound and determined to get in…they would. No fence could stop that.

Stop the foreign policy that created hatred, and you solve this as well.

The soundbite debates that we are given to make choices is a not a good method to determine the positions of candidates, and this is a perfect example.

Our Marxist POS president prefers open borders because that advances his anti-American agenda. He sued Arizona for their immigration law they passed and has done nothing to secure our southern or northern border.I’ve said it many times,he’s a virulent Marxist bent on the destruction of our economy and one way to ensure that is to have millions of illegals, terrorists and drug smugglers easy entry into the country.

One solution would be to mine the border heavily and have thousands of troops, bring them back from other parts of the world and have them kill anyone crossing the border illegally. Some might think that too harsh,I say do you want to fight for your country or do you want to lay down? “Ron Paul blasted politicians who blame immigrants for causing the country’s economic problems. He compared the situation to Nazi Germany’s targeting of Jews in the 1930s.

‘When things go badly, individuals look for scapegoats,’ Paul said. ‘Hispanics, the immigrants who have come in, are being used as scapegoats.’

Paul said he doesn’t support illegal immigration and said people who break the law should be punished. But he said he opposes any effort to round people up and ship them away.

‘If an individual is found to be breaking the law, serious consideration should be given for them to return. But I would think 99 percent of people who come here come because they believe in the American dream. Paul decried a punitive border policy, which said offended his belief in individual liberty.’

I had a business in both California and Texas which required me to travel to Colorado and Arizona and am VERY familiar with the alien population.

And if you are unfortunate enough to rent a motel room near the interstate and leave anything in your vehicle locked up, thinking it’s safe, it won’t be there when morning comes. They‘ll steal anything that isn’t embedded in concret wrapped in barbed wire.

And the only people who despise Ron Paul as much as you do are anti-American Jews who hate him, because he puts America first and not Israel.

The problem with folks like you is you don’t do your homework. If you knew anything at all about Paul’s consistent position, snipits like the one you chose would fall right in line with what he’s been saying for YEARS.

The border problem is the direct result of foolish foreign and domestic policies, and if these were corrected in the first place, there would be no need to turn us into East Germany.

“We now have a mess on the borders, and it has a lot more to do with it than just immigration, because we’re financing some of this militarism against the drug dealers on the borders right now to the tune of over $1 billion. And there is a mess down there, but it’s much bigger than just the immigration problem.”

Your question was fair enough, but if you did your own search for the truth, you would never have has to end your post with an insult…that only shows how misinformed you are.

Sorry, I do my own homework… Once again you make an assumption, then paint with a broad brush.. Sound familiar?

Ron Paul made that comment last week… He did not go on further to explain it… I understand his views and what he has done in the past… However, it is possible for someone to change their mind… Without further explanation on his part, questions will keep rising about his CURRENT stances…

I am sorry that that simple thought process eludes your intellect…

Now please, reply and talk about how uninformed I am, ad hominen attacks, strawman, et. al. By the way, the Obamabots use the same style of “persuasion” on those that do not agree with their views…

Like I said before, the fact is that if you actually did your homework and knew Paul’s position, we would not be having this discussion. That’s not an assumption…that is a fact.

Clearly Paul has been saying what should be in theory regarding the quote you provided, and not what is actually happening right now. If we followed his advice, there would be no real problems on the border that we are witnessing today. What’s so difficult to understand about that?

As for reality, this is the reason he voted FOR a border fence. You have a tough time distinguishing between theory and reality…don’t you.

As for claiming Paul might have changed his mind, did you even read the article that you are replying to, or do you have reading comprehension problems?

It’s like Deja Vu all over again!:

    ————————————————
“The American government had several agencies attempting to stop smuggling from happening among the Detroit River. There was the Detroit Border Patrol, the Detroit Police, the Federal Prohibition Bureau, and other forces. With the Detroit Border patrol attempting to stop alcohol smuggling they did not do a great job. The Federal Prohibition Bureau claims that four-fifths of the nations supply of contraband alcohol came from Detroit. At the start of Prohibition the American forces trying to stop rum running to Detroit was impotent. But by 1922, they started making ways in attempting on stopping rumrunners by having a powerful speedboat loaded with heavy weaponry.”

The United States was growing tired of the violence involved with smuggling; the unemployment rate was a staggering 46% in 1931. In 1933 it was argued that the legalization of liquor would reduce crime, lawlessness and gangs. The amendment was repealed by the 21st amendment on December 5, 1933.”

Ron Paul woudlnt take Bachman in as vp due to the fact he is for continuing and starting unconsitutional wars. Ron Paul is completely right on this issue. We have to secure out borders. The acts being committed on our southern border require military action. Our troops signed up to defend and protect our country from foreign and domestic threats. NOT to police the world.

      Bring our troops home.
      Protect our borders.

The fact that the so called tea party members are trying to elect guys wrote Romneycare, sat on a couch with Pelosi, or said he would “vocally and publicly oppose” the tea party movement is just comical.

Well, the good news is The Blaze has sent this info to the “powers that be” – it seems “we the people” are the army that needs to step up to plate, not expecting our “representatives” in Congress to do it. In the last couple of years, waking up to the horrible revelations about how utterly corrupt, evil, self-serving, deceitful people we have in all the important offices. They’ve been taken over by the enemies of America – if they aren’t an outright “enemy”, they are selfish and more interested in their careers, money, power and they live in “denial” about serious problems. I guess that shouldn’t be surprising knowing human nature, but most of us didn’t have a clue about how MUCH it is. Just when I thought it couldn’t get worse – it does.
I pray we have enough “patriots” who are awake and willing to do whatever they can to stop this freight train of destruction before it’s too late. Don’t ever expect the “authorities” to do what’s right.

“The people that want big fences and guns, sure, we could secure the border,” the congressman noted. “A barbed wire fence with machine guns, that would do the trick. I don’t believe that is what America is all about. Every time you think about the fence, think about the fences being used against us, keeping us in.”

Plus he says… “Rights belong to individuals, not groups…“ The second asserts that ”All peaceful voluntary economic and social associations are permitted…” So, if groups have no rights, Americans as a group have no collective right to impede non-American individuals in the exercise of their rights to free movement and association.”

And further he states… “In the ideal libertarian world, borders would be blurred and open,” he admits in the immigration of Liberty Defined his book.

So okay Paul…. which is it? And don’t say Militarize our border, because our troops have better things to do… unless of course we put them on the front lines on the “war on drugs” at the border and beyond and tell them they can “lock, load AND fire!” Now that would be worth their time and training.

Well Dr. Paul hits this from many angles.

First off, you take away the free things the illegals get. No more welfare, free medical, Social security and other benefits they get now.

Secondly you end the war on drugs by the fed. It hasnt stopped drugs, it wont stop drugs. Just like during prohibition it didnt work. What this does is cuts profit from the drug lords.

Third you pull our troops home to defend our borders. Dr. Paul has been quite clear on this one. He has been against building fences because they dont work. If our troops are home, they are help patrol the area until the cartels are crushed.

It seems to me that none of these instances where you quoted Dr. Paul reveal any of the context of the discussion that led to the quotes. We will never have a truly libertarian world because that would require the ultimate in personal responsibility. Progressives/statists/socialists/M-I complex/Bankers/corporatists/1%/Bilderbergers, or whoever else you would like to point the finger at, would never allow that to happen. Slave-owners historically have strongly resisted efforts to take away their power to enslave. Don’t confuse preferring to not isolate America with being weak on border security. Ron Paul is very consistent with his positions. To imply otherwise, it appears to me, is a lame attempt to further your marginalization of him as a candidate. Maybe your time would be better spent explaining the ever changing populist position of your candidate of choice.

Now that Glenn has shown it, some think it is time to comment now on the real dangers that have been kept secret from the American people? Truly sad, those that have said NOTHING since yesterday!!! How dare one of you in office act like you care, between those in power and our incompetent media, we will all lose our freedoms to this madness. Years of lying! To the families that have suffered under the lies and manipulation I apologize and my prayers are with you. To the progressive, take your compassion and shove it!!!

We also used to have an independent Press that searched out current stories.. Now that the Lame Stream Media has become the media wing of the DEMOCRAT Party.
      Journalism is dead.

It’s nothing but propaganda now. I feel like I’m living in a communist country. I am amazed at the number of people who listen to, and do what the Media tells them. Thanks to Glenn Beck for taking a stand and telling us the truth.

Obama and the other progressives need the chaos to come north; they need the pressure on the system to appear as sudden and abrupt on the nation as possible. Hence the constant lack of news by the propaganda media coming from the liberal networks; they will not declare the truth until it is time for the admin to crash down from above, and then use the scenes and graphic images for the maximum horrific shock factor they can.

“The border is safer than it’s ever been.“ ”You’ve got a Governor whose state is on fire, denying climate change”

-President Obama, mocking Texas Gov. Rick Perry, last year.

“Maybe they’ll need a moat,” Obama said to the cheers of a largely Democratic audience. “Maybe they want alligators in the moat.”

-Obama in Arizona, mocking Gov. Jan Brewer

These republican candidates better show those pictures to the mainstream media, and rhino FoxNews. We are being lied to by the news, and that includes FoxNews, who like diluting debates with gay marriage topics.

You’re absolutely right! Time for EVERYONE in DC & America to see what’s actually going on at our Southern Border. We also learned last night that Obama is abandoning our Northern Border. He is leaving us wide open for terrorists to walk into our country & destroy us. He must be stopped NOW!

Remember, if a terrorist event occurs prior to election and our Muslim in Chief acts in any manner against it, it will greatly increase his electibility. Don’t think for a minute that he does not know what he is doing. This guy is going to win no matter what it takes. Ron Paul did well in Minnesota and underperformed in the other two yesterday. It’s frustrating to see the Republicans reject freedom & liberty while voting for more government control. Can Ron Paul win Maine this weekend? I hope so. I hope he keeps running as a Republican, building a base and then runs third party. Some say that will ensure Obama gets re-elected but we don’t know what will happen in a 3-man race and Obama won’t be any worse than Romney, Gingrich, or Santorum. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=262l6tbHSlU RON PAUL 2012.

My sons, both in their mid-20′s told me months ago that only Ron Paul can win the youth vote that Obama took. I asked them why they support Ron Paul and they both said that it’s about LIBERTY. They have seen the creeping Police State and don’t like what they see. For all those who claim Ron Paul‘s supporters are only those who want pot to be legalized could not be more wrong because there’s also a growing baby boomer support for him as well. It’s about keeping the government out of our lives, out of our homes and definitely away from our bodies. Laws don’t make morality. As long as one‘s actions don’t have any negative affect on others or their rights, there‘s no place for ’government controls’ over our actions.

I don’t think Ron Paul will make a third party run, but I’m definitely concerned that Trump will.

Well, Thousands of Ron Paul supporters went and voted for Obama in 2008 anyways, along with Paul endorsing the likes of Cynthia McKinney and Ralph Nader for POTUS in 2008. So in my estimation… Ron Paul and his supporters ARE okay with Obama, or any other trash Ron Paul might suggest to his maids in waiting.

@PATRIOTK Ron Paul wants us to get back to our constitutional form of government with less intrusion by the government in our lives and the youth have picked up on that message. He understands that debt is the greatest threat to our liberty and freedom and if we don’t get a handle on the debt we could end up like Greece. If you listen to these so called ‘conservatives’ they have a real problem with Paul, there’s something about liberty and freedom they detest, apparently they like big government and trillions in debt and endless wars.I don‘t get the fascination with those views but they think they’re ‘conservative’.

Oh I wouldn‘t worry about Trump he’s not running for anything.

What a bizarre piece of ambush journalism this is, expecting candidates for President have an opinion on a publicity stunt.

      Still;

It is refreshing that the Congressmen and Senator admit culpability, for if a United States policy is failing they are as much to blame as anyone.

To say that Ron Paul endorsed Cynthia Mckinney or Ralph Nader in the 2008 election is a ridiculous lie. After Paul left the race he publically endorsed the Constitution Party candidate Chuck Baldwin.

I don’t listen to his show & I don’t buy his books or T-shirts. Sorry, I don’t support the man. I do my own homework & I talk to real people in my hometown. I read extensively, mainly history. I am a mathematician who happens to be a good strategist. I am a closet genius & I studied statistics. I could go on & on… It doesn’t matter about me, I only see the trends & patterns & possibilities. Complacent people like yourself are the reason 9-1-1 happened because no one wanted to take responsibility for shooting rogue jets out of the skies & our government is not doing its job as far as filtering immigrants or illegals. Those people who gave up their lives in the planes that crashed before they could take out their intended targets are the only ones who realize what can & has happened. Already. I study the past problems of societies & civilizations & why they ultimately failed. One plague is all it took in some cases & we are now playing with some very dangerous materials in this day & age. Grow up. It’s not paranoia to see these foreigners for what they really are, which in my opinion is insane. I don‘t know about you but I don’t trust insane or self-delusional people. Regardless of their religion.

Gee Wireman24, you must live in Arizona or Texas (near Nogales or Juarez I presume) right on the border because you aren‘t worried at all since it’s super duper safe. Call names if you wish but if you are going to do that then please, please move to southern Arizona, don’t lock your doors, and by all means please do not bring any firearms, just make sure you have plenty of unicorns & rainbows on hand to protect yourself. Once all that is accomplished, be sure to let us know how that’s working out for you. We will all be excited to hear from you. BTW, you really can get excellent buys on homes & land in those areas. Of course if you decide to farm in S. Arizona and check on your livestock you’ll be killed. Otherwise, great area. Really, all us crazies who are terrified to live there want you to lead by example.

When people saw Jews being hauled off in trains to never come back, they somehow convinced themselves these people were just going somewhere else there weren’t bad people in the world. What did ever happen to those pesky Jews… oh yah, they were murdered.
