Thanks for the correction on the book name….and I probably should have picked a little more radical actress for the mother….maybe Rosy O’Donnell. And yes Grand Torino kicked ass.

One big difference beween Clint Eastwood and Obama (the Lone Cockroach) most Americans are fans of Clint but most Americans are NOT fans of the Lone Cockroach. Clint is so professional but somehow knowing the good American he is I somehow see inside he would like to have Obama in a Dirty Harry or Good Bad and Ugly scene where he smokes the Lone Cockroach. Ha! That would be so great!! I guess he is leaving it up to the Ameican people to smoke this communist in 2012 at the polling booths.

Clint, how about making a movie about a renegade administration who is tearing a country apart, about a country whose borders are being over-run by drug cartels, a country whose housing market and banks are tanking. A country who is losing their First Amendment rights. A country who wants to steal your guns. A country whose congress has turned upon the citizens who elected them. Oh wait… no one would go see it because they wouldn’t believe it could happen.

You just know he wants to say it, but Clint is smarter than 99% of the dopes in Hollywood. Why alienate half your fan base? Almost everyone knows it now…Obama was elected because America needed to assuage its racial guilt. Now the Country is on the brink of disaster, and race relations are worse than they’ve been in 75 years. WTG Barry!

I really don’t think that race relations are worse because of Obama. First and foremost we must take into account the individual limitations of racial perception. Do I have a problem discussing my opinion with my black friends (Some of whom are far more conservative than me)-no…When people realize that our leaders are trying to be divisive and pit one side against the other-then you start to realize who the enemy really is. Relations with people is an individual ability with only personal limitations to communicate-race still plays a minority role in the outcome. We should be encouraged that the issues we face really are just at the personal level and government can never really play a huge role here. Just be the good American people you are…

A few weeks ago, I watched the “Can’t Get Enough Dirty Harry Week” marathon on AMC and thought the entire time, “America needs more Dirty Harry” to cut through all of the BS.

I like that he mentions obama didn’t suround himself with the right people, because that was my first reaction when I saw who he was picking for x post here and y post there….. he picked exactly who he wanted – they agree with him, they stroke his ego and are pretty much on the same page witbh him in the progressive book.
So Clint is right, he didn’t surround himself with the right people for America, but he did use the right people for destablizing America.

my take is a little different, Clint was measuring his words very carefully, he is allowing you to take whichever side that you believe in. Kinda like Obama saying he is going for change, it sure was not my idea of change, or at least in the opposite direction of my idea of change. We need to demand more clarity from people, not allow them to straddle the fence with well choosen words. The difference between us and them is that we are not afraid to voice clearly our opinions, while they are ambigious at best. We have to stop believing the best, we can hope for the best but perpare for the worst.

“I don‘t think it’s nice, you laughin’. You see, my mule don’t like people laughing. He gets the crazy idea you‘re laughin’ at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you’re going to, I might convince him that you really didn’t mean it.”….and THAT would be Couric talking to HIM! lol
